Kat Dennings 'unsure of Thor 2 return

Kat Dennings has said that she is unsure of whether she will return for Thor 2.

The 2 Broke Girls star revealed that while she would love to reprise her role from this year's superhero film, she has yet to be asked back.

"Marvel is so secretive; we never know anything until the last minute," Dennings told Collider. "One of the things that happened when I signed for [2 Broke Girls] was to make sure that I could still do films on my hiatus, so they would absolutely work that out. I did Thor before I did this show, so they would find a way to work everything out, if I was in Thor 2."

Dennings went on to talk about her role as Max in 2 Broke Girls, saying that she appreciates how relatable the character is.

"I just love how real Max is," the actress said. "Max is so hard-working. All she has to think about are her jobs and her rent. She's never really had a moment to relax. It's nice to watch that journey unfold."

Dennings explained in March that she has never concerned herself with fame, believing that retaining humility is key to dealing with success.

2 Broke Girls will premiere in the US on September 19.

Harrison Ford: 'Indiana Jones return would be delightful

Harrison Ford has said that he would be "delighted" to star in a fifth Indiana Jones movie.

The 69-year-old explained that he wanted a new picture to be made so that audiences could "learn" more about the whip-cracking adventurer.

Joking about the extra-terrestrial involvement in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Ford told LA Times: "Maybe [I'll do] a fifth, but I ain't going to Mars. Next time we get a script for Indiana Jones, I'd be delighted to play the character.

"Each time we meet him, we wanted to advance the audience's understanding of the character, not just by putting him in adventures, but by learning something about him.

"That's what led to the meeting of his father [in The Last Crusade], played by Sean Connery, and his son [in Crystal Skull], played by Shia [LaBeouf], and bringing Marion (Karen Allen) back."

Ford admitted last month that he was unsure whether a fifth Indiana Jones film would get made.

Christina Hendricks: 'I'd play Wonder Woman in a heartbeat

Christina Hendricks has revealed that she would be interested in playing Wonder Woman if a film were to be made.

A movie based on the super heroine has been mooted for some time. Director Nicolas Winding Refn has claimed that studio executives have promised to support him with a film version provided his remake of Logan's Run performs well at the box office.

Refn has also named Hendricks as his first choice to play the lead role should he be at the helm.

Hendricks, who recently worked with Refn on the movie Drive, explained to New York magazine that she was a big fan of Wonder Woman in her childhood, and said that she would sign up for the film "in a heartbeat".

"I grew up on the TV show, and I had Wonder Woman Underoos, and my brother had a Wonder Woman doll - sorry, Aaron, you're exposed," she laughed.

"Nicolas said, when we were on set, 'I want you to be Wonder Woman'. And I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat."

Joss Whedon was once attached to the director's chair for a possible Wonder Woman movie. Whedon had previously named Angelina Jolie as his first choice, but also considered Hendricks as a possible lead.

"I'd like to think that Joss would have cast me," she added. "I also loved working with Joss [on Firefly]. I'm excited to see what he does with The Avengers. Hopefully the stars would align [for Wonder Woman]. It would be really fun. It would be cool, wouldn't it? I'd get to kick ass."

Speaking about how she would like to play Wonder Woman, she said: "Well, I would certainly do what Nicolas wanted to do, and I can only guess what his version would be, but as I grew up with - and am now married to - a comic book fan, I think it's important to be true to the original comic books, because I know that the fans love every detail and it's very important to them.

"So I think it would be cool to do that. I look forward to learning more about it, actually. I should probably start reading them, so that if someone were to ask me [to be in the movie], I would be fully prepared."

I would be surprised if this movie ever gets made because they are always talking about a Wonder Woman movie.

RoboCop' remake is "urgently needed", says director Jose Padilha

RoboCop will be a different kind of movie compared to the 1987 original, according to Jose Padilha.

The director is remaking the dystopian classic by Paul Verhoeven which follows a wounded policeman who is returned to the force as a cyborg.

Padilha told Dutch entertainment site film1: "I love the sharpness and political tone of RoboCop and I think that such a film is now urgently needed. But I will not repeat what Verhoeven has done so clearly and strongly.

"Instead I try to make a film that will address topics that Verhoeven untreated. If you are a man [who] changes into a robot, how do you do that?

"What is the difference between humans and robots developed? What is free will? What does it mean to lose your free will? Those are the issues."

The Elite Squad director will be helming from a script by Josh Zetumer, who worked on the unproduced Dune remake and the fourth Bourne film.

MGM originally pulled Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky into the project before the studio went into bankruptcy.

Kick-Ass 2' may need new director, says Mark Millar

Kick-Ass 2 could feature a new creative team, according to Mark Millar.

The acclaimed writer told Hero Complex that the movie sequel may go ahead without helmer Matthew Vaughn or screenwriter Jane Goldman, due to scheduling conflicts.

"Hopefully, we can use the same actors if and when we do a sequel, but getting Matthew [Vaughn] to direct or Jane [Goldman] to write a movie at this budget would be very difficult because they're superstars now and they have projects of their own," he told the website.

"I'd imagine, if this happens any time soon, that Matthew will produce and possibly co-write, like George Lucas did with The Empire Strikes Back, and hire a new director."

Millar went on to say that the project has time constraints as the main characters in his Kick-Ass 2 comic are still in high school. Should the project be greenlit several years from now, the cast from the previous film may be unable to reprise their roles.

"There's a window because the actors are all supposed to be in high school and if this came out after 2013, for example, that window would have closed," he added. "I obviously know more than I can say, but I think people will be pretty happy with the conversations we've been having."

Kick-Ass cast members Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse have previously expressed interest in returning for a sequel.

Monster' director Patty Jenkins considered for 'Thor 2' -- BREAKING

Marvel Studios may be sending Patty Jenkins, who directed Charlize Theron to an Oscar win with 2003?s harrowing Monster, to the celestial realm of Asgard.

Jenkins, who is repped by CAA, also directed the acclaimed pilot to AMC’s The Killing, as well as episodes of Entourage and Arrested Development. She would be taking on Thor 2 from the original movie’s director Kenneth Branagh. The film is set to begin shooting next April, with plans to be in theaters by July 2013.

There was no official confirmation from Marvel about Jenkins, but several sources close to the project said talks are ongoing.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently told EW that plans were developing fast for the sequel, which he said would “take Thor literally to other worlds.” While moviegoers will next see Chris Hemsworth as the hammer-swinging hero in The Avengers next May, Thor 2 would “primarily be the journey of that character, of he and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and how the new dynamic with his father (Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins) is working out, as well as what are the broader stakes for The Nine Worlds,” Feige said.

The Nine Worlds are the different planes of existence, of which Earth is one, that Thor and his Asgardian brethren recognize. It’s part of a push to expand the cosmic side of the Marvel Comics universe, which includes many more intergalactic heroes and villains.

Though much attention will be paid to the fact that Thor will be getting a woman’s touch, no one who saw Monster or The Killing can accuse Jenkins of being soft. If anything, Thor may actually be facing much rougher treatment this time around if Jenkins gets the job
