Mark Ruffalo teases Hulk's 'Avengers' role

Mark Ruffalo has teased the first details about the story arc for his character Bruce Banner in next year's team-up film The Avengers.

While plot details about Joss Whedon's all-star film are being kept closely under wraps, Ruffalo did reveal that Banner will develop complicated relationships with both Iron Man and the Black Widow over the course of the movie.

"He has an interesting thing with Black Widow actually," Ruffalo told MTV News.

Ruffalo explained that because both Banner and Tony Stark are from scientific backgrounds, there will be an immediate link between them.

"There's a real admiration between the two of them that's interesting, and Tony Stark really enjoys the idea of watching this guy turn into the Hulk," he added. "So he's nudging him in an interesting sort of way.

"There's a lot of nice, fun play between the two of them."

Ruffalo recently admitted that he was excited to begin work on The Avengers, which started production earlier this week.

The Shutter Island star is joined by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner in the Marvel Studios film.

The Avengers is due to be released in US and UK cinemas on May 4, 2012.

Will Ferrell: 'Anchorman 2 could happen

Will Ferrell has claimed that a sequel to his 2004 comedy Anchorman could still happen.

The actor previously confessed that the project was unlikely to happen given Paramount Studios' initial decision to pass on the follow-up film last year.

However, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he revealed that negotiations with the film studio were still ongoing and may yet make Anchorman 2 possible.

"It's a little peculiar. On the one hand, [we were] being begged to do a sequel for such a long time, and then we finally came up with a concept that we liked, we talked to [Paramount] and everyone was up for it," he explained.

"And then to get the reaction we got, yeah, it's slightly puzzling to us. But you know what? It's also their money. They get to do or not do whatever they want. So we'll see."

Ferrell added: "We're still going back and forth. Maybe there is a solution. Or, I know in talking to Adam [McKay, writer], if it never happens, then it never happens. And that's fine too. So we'll just see."

Kathryn Bigelow's next movie will centre on the US Navy Seals team that killed Osama Bin Laden.

Terminator 5' not reuniting original cast

Terminator 5 director Justin Lin has denied that the entire original cast will return for his sequel.

Fast Five helmer Lin, who will bring Arnold Schwarzenegger back to the series, told MTV that speculation about The Terminator stars Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn reprising their roles is untrue.

"No. I don't know where that came from," Lin said. "Everything has just been between me and Arnold, you know? Just us going out and trying to find the right partners. I have certain elements, but it's never been about, 'Hey, let's bring everybody back!' I just don't process that way."

Lin added that he is hoping to make a Terminator movie he "always wanted to see", and hinted that his instalment could ignore the events of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and the recent Terminator Salvation.

"To me, thematically, there are certain things that I want to see in a Terminator movie," he commented. "A lot of that does draw back to creating this timeline that is an extension, closer tonally to the first and second movies. But to me, it's not as mathematical as, 'Hey, let's get everybody back together and we'll shoot the movie'."
