Episode 1: Pilot

This was a very good episode to start the show off with, the scene of Joan & Arthur Campbell arguing during Marriage Counselling was a little funny, I liked how Annie was able to talk her way not only back into the crime scene but also got close enough to retrieve the data, my favourite scene was the car chase Annie was involved in after she noticed a car following her, I was impressed with how Annie gained access to the Morgue but I was more impressed with how Annie & Auggie both told that FBI agent the same story, I would love to know just who the heck Ben Mercer really is.

The thing that stood out about this episode was how good Annie Walker and Auggie Anderson interacted with one another.

Episode 2: Walter's Walk

This episode was slightly better than the season opener in my opinion, I loved the new digs the DPD got, I don't entirely trust the Jai Wilcox character at this very moment in time, my favourite scene was of Auggie giving Annie some fighting lessons that actually helped her once she was is in the field, I kind of saw the twist about James Elliot being a double agent coming I just don't know why, maybe it was because of how long it took him to appear before shooting that guy who was attacking Annie.

The thing I have noticed about the first 2 episodes is that Annie's personal life and work life are being balanced out quite well at the moment.

Episode 3: South Bound Suarez

This was a pretty good episode, I wonder how many more skills Annie has up her sleeve that we have not seen yet, I liked the Diego character because of how he acted, my favourite scene was again of Annie driving a car but this time she was fighting Victor who had a gun pointed at her at the same time, I was surprised how Julia kept going back to Victor even after all he had done, I would love to see an Auggie centred episode soon and I think that he has more than earned the right to be back in the field even though he is blind.

I am not sure who to be more scared of, Ziva from NCIS when she drives or Annie when she drives as they both drive the same way, fast and dangerous.

Episode 4: No Quarter

I thought this was a great episode, It was great improvisation of Annie to move the bad guy into position so that he got knocked down by one of those Airport Buggy's, I loved the constant bickering that took place between Joan & Arthur Campbell's characters, my favourite scenes were of Auggie being given a lie detector test, I would not mind seeing Oded Fehr's character Eyal making another appearance, it might only be me but I can honestly see Auggie getting a field mission before this season ends.   

I have to admit the best thing about this episode is the continuing interaction that goes on between Annie & Auggie's characters.

Episode 5: In The Light

This was a pretty good episode, I like how we get the occasional flashback to Annie & Ben Mercer, It might only be me but I get the feeling that Ben might have had some sort of connection to the CIA in his past, I was impressed by how Annie got Christopher McAuley to come back to the CIA but the way Annie did it was a little devious, I guessed Christopher would go after Hasaan Waleed as soon as Annie mentioned he was coming to the US, my favourite scene was of Jai chasing after Ben at the Docks, I have to say that Jai's character is beginning to grow on me a bit.

Episode 6: Houses Of The Holy

This episode was much better than the last one in my opinion, the best thing about this episode for me was of Auggie helping out a couple of buddies from his old Special Ops Unit, my favourite scene was when Annie kicked that assassins butt, I might have been the only person but I felt really bad for Ashley Briggs, I would say the highlight of this episode was of Senator Jarvis resigning, I was not that interested in the sub-plot about Michael Brooks but it was good to learn that he was hiding the fact he had lost his job.

It was good to see Lauren Holly (NCIS) make an appearance as Madeline Jarvis even though she turned out to be the leak in the end.

Episode 7: Communication Breakdown

This was a fantastic episode, I never would of guessed that Auggie was one of the people telling Liza Hearn CIA Secrets, I'm not sure if I believe Auggie when he says he is using Liza to find out who the real leak is, the best thing about this episode for me was the interaction between Auggie & Natasha's characters, I was very happy to see Auggie finally do some field work and I am hoping that we get to see it again at some point because based on this episode he has more than proven himself to be an able field agent, I like how almost all the sub-plots in the show so far have involved Annie's sister Danielle in some way or another.

Episode 8: What Is And What Should Never Be

This episode was somehow even better than the last one, I loved how this episode started with Annie being found with a gun in hand and a couple of dead bodies on the floor while surrounded by cops, I found it funny how Annie kept getting an access denied noise which everybody else could hear because her speakers were up so loud, It may of taken 8 episodes but we finally got conformation that Ben was a former CIA  operative which I guessed a few episodes back, It might only be me but does anybody else notice how strange Annie runs but always seems to get away.

I liked how 2/3 of this episode was of Annie telling Joan everything about what had happened to her over the previous 2 days.

Episode 9: Fool In The Rain

This was a brilliant episode, I have missed seeing Joan & Arthur have marriage counselling but what made that scene funny was that Theo was kicked out of his own office because he did not have clearance to hear what Joan & Arthur were talking about, I absolutely loved the Behrooz character because he was over the top happy, I was happy to learn Auggie was not the leak and I liked the new development in the search for who Liza is getting her information from, I look forward to seeing what happens now that Annie thinks she remembers seeing Jai in Sr Lanka.

Episode 10: I Can't Quit You Baby

This was a really good episode, I was laughing at the scene when Auggie said to Annie “that would be stupid to refuse” just after Joan said “how would you like a trip to London”, I was scared at just watching the way Vivian was driving around London, I loved the scenes of Annie at the casino losing bad at crabs while also drinking allot to sell her cover story, I actually liked the Vivian character even though her driving scared me, I wish we had seen more of the minor sub-plot about Auggie at the Smithsonian, It might only be me but I have a bad feeling about Henry Wilcox.

Episode 11: When The Levee Breaks

This was a very good episode to finish the first season off, I liked how this episode started with Ben handing himself in but did the CIA have to have so many people pointing guns at him, I liked the touching scene near the 10 minute mark when Auggie gave Annie a tracker and his phone number in case of an emergency, my favourite scene was of Annie saving Ben but the saddest scene was of Ben possibly dying in Annie's arms, I was not surprised to learn that Henry was giving Liza information, I cant wait for Season 2 as I want to know what happens with the Liza, Henry, Arthur & Joan storyline.

Episode 1: Begin The Begin

This was a very good season 2 premier, I like how this episode got straight into the action with gunman trying to kill Annie and an injured Ben at the hospital, I found the comment Auggie made about Joan not being any fun to be around a little funny, I swear Annie sounded paranoid regarding Nadia being in trouble, I liked the twist when it turned out Nadia/Nadia's coach was going to kill Alo Morozov, It might just be me but Danielle has to learn the truth about Annie this season, I'm interested to see where the storylines involving of Ben & Arthur go in this upcoming season.

Episode 2: Good Advices

This was a really good episode, I liked the scene when Annie learned she was being sent to Paris because of her reaction, I loved the reaction by Auggie when Annie told him she spent €6000 on a handbag, I wasn't expecting the asset Salma Devrient to be killed but it did help develop the storyline, my favourite scene was of Annie saving Eyla Levine's life who surprise surprise returned the favour instantly, I thought Auggie did a pretty good job of being in charge, I was unable to stop laughing every time I saw the scenes of Joan on jury duty annoying the hell out of everybody.

Episode 3: Bang And Blame

This was nearly a great episode, I knew straight away when we first met Dr. Scott Weiss that he would be a love interest for Annie, I was real impressed with Annie making it to the Exit door without having to use a gun like all the other recruits, I loved the comment Auggie made to Gideon about him not being an intern, It was quick thinking of Auggie to help Annie out of that sticky situation of being in Roy's room, my favourite scene was of Annie & Corey fighting in mid air, I didn't peg Corey as the traitor so it came as a nice surprise, I hope the whole Arthur storyline is revolved soon as its dragging on a bit now.

Episode 4: All The Right Friends

This was a great episode to watch, I liked the conversation Annie had with Carlo Reni on the plane before the exchange went south, I continued to be intrigued by the conversations Annie & Carlo had while on the run from an assassin, my favourite scene had to be of Annie driving straight through that Police road block, the scene when Annie attacked that cop and then said sorry afterwards was kind of funny, I cant wait to see where the storyline of Auggie taking a promotion to run his own department goes, I can see Jai becoming a problem for everybody later on with his current attitude.

Episode 5: Around The Sun

This was a pretty good episode, I didn't like the Reva character at first but I then started to like Reva because of her outlook on things, I loved the reaction by Arthur when his lawyer came and went in a flash and all he spoke about was Coffee, I thought the NASA case was good but it had room for improvement plus It was missing those action scenes, I did like the 1 action scene we got of Annie fighting that woman near the end, I didn't get the storyline of Auggie taking the promotion and then leaving it in the space of 1 episode, my favourite scene was the ending family time Annie had.

Episode 6: The Outsiders

This was a great episode, I found It really funny how Annie continued to try and pretend she was a Canadian tourist, I would love to know how Joan knew about Jai having a job interview in Germany, my favourite scene was of Annie & Reva making their escape from the bad guys, the scene of Auggie getting some help to stop Danielle digging any further into Annie's cover story was brilliant, I loved the scene of Annie & Reva jumping from that cliff but that must of caused serious pain to Reva with her hurt ankle, I think I might actually miss the Reva character but I guess she could always return at some point.

Episode 7: Half A World Away

This was the best episode of Covert Affairs to date in my honest opinion, I absolutely loved all the flashback scenes we got of Auggie's past life in the Military, the scene of Auggie & Nasir/Khani fighting was good but a little too short for my liking, I really liked the scene when Auggie walked off the plane after handing over the Nasir/Khani to the FBI because of the look on Joan & Annie's faces, my favourite scene was at the end of Auggie & Annie talking about his past, I liked the Franka character and her interaction with Auggie was outstanding to watch.

Episode 8: Welcome To The Occupation

I thought this was another great episode, I do like the Annie & Dr. Scott Weiss relationship storyline but for it to mean anything it needs a bit more screen time, It was great to see Joan do some field work in this episode and hopefully it wont be the last time we see that happen, I liked seeing a different side of Arthur in this episode when it came to him being concerned for Joan, my favourite scene was of Annie & Ben taking down Delgado & George with Joan also fighting,  It was good to see Ben Mercer again but I have lost all interest in his character, I am interested to see where the Henry & Jai Wilcox storyline is going.
