Hello The upgrade is fine for picture quality and the big screen function is good too. However it is very very slow to download - keeps stopping while loading. This never happened when using realplayer. Even when i hit the pause button, to allow some time to download, it doesn't download. So I can only watch the episode while it keeps stopping and starting. Was I supposed to download flash player?? Or a plug in? I have cable so download speed should not be a problem from my end. Please help

Thanks Craig. I have checked and have the latest version: 10,2,159,1 . The episode downloads but it just keeps buffering all the time. This tells me that the downloading is very very very slow. Never had this problem before. I don't know what else to do

Sorry, maybe I am using the wrong terminology. By downloading I mean hitting the play button, that's all.

Bala, just tested and got these results: Your line speed is 6.25 Mbps (6255 kbps). Your download speed is 782 KB/s (0.76 MB/s). I am on cable

Why is the word "flowplayer" on the screen at the bottom left hand side? Is flowplayer the same as adobe Flash?

Great idea, Jim. Or what about having the choice to select either Flash or Realplayer on this site? (So far it's taken me 20 minutes to watch about 5 minutes of video).

Does anyone know... The size of the file for each episode on realplayer was approx. 80mgb - 120mgb. What is the size of the files for flash? Must be much much greater?

True. There's always bugs to be ironed out and a lot of people hate realplayer. A lot of other people also had no problems with realplayer and fount it worked well (like me). So because of the switch to mp4 format, means more monthly internet usage per episode plus it takes me over an hour to wait for the buffering to stop before I can watch an episode. (Whereas with realplayer neother of these were issues). I think this is the best site, but now you can understand I am not happy with my favourite VIP site

Thanks for your help. Have gone to Chrome and since then Flash works fine. However only on the US server. The EU server still keeps buffering every few seconds even with Chrome.

"you just let the episode buff and watch it later " EXCEPT THAT FOR SOME STRANGE REASON IT'S NOT WORKING TONIGHT. ooops - sorry about the capitals. Have tried a few episodes tonight and while some start streaming they appear to stop streaming once I press pause. Flash was working for me yesterday (only via US server) but today am getting the stream-not-found message on some eps and on other eps the streaming seems to just stop.

..for giving us the choice of RP . Much appreciated as RP always worked for me and at only around 100mb per episode is much much less in usage than Flash. Thanks again

I understand that, Bala. Hopefully though the bugs will be ironed out by then with Flash. As for file size, not much can be done about that.

I'm measuring the file sizes to be 1000MG per episode. If this is correct then those of us with metered monthly usage are at a major disadvantage. When will the alternative RP site be up and running?
