The Thirteenth Tale Premiered on BBC Two on December 30, 2013

The Thirteenth Tale is adapted for televison by Christopher Hampton, directed by James Kent and produced by David Heyman and Norma Heyman. Vida Winter has managed to evade journalists' questions about her past by simply refusing to answer their inquiries to spinning tales that they later discover to be false. With her health starting to fail, Vida invites Margaret Lea to hear the truth about her life and write her autobiography. Lea finds herself also having to confront her own ghosts.

The twins Emmeline and Adeline pushing the baby in the pram down the hill was evil but I had a feeling there were three girls and if their parents were brother and sister then that would be diabolical, the story about the gardener falling off the ladder did sound like foul play at first and confirmed by Vida but saving the baby from the fire was great
