Episode 1: (Oct/10/2010)
Dave finds it hard to bring up four children alone following the death of his wife in a car accident. Things become more complicated when he finds himself becoming closer to her best friend. David's eldest daughter decides to turn her back on him and look for her real father.

Episode 2: (Oct/17/2010)
Dave tries to avoid Sarah as he drops Evie off at school when he feels confused. He ends up being forced to discuss the kiss they shared though when he meets her at his daughter's parents' evening. Dave helps to find Lucy's biological father, only to discover an unsettling secret about his wife that makes him question everything about their relationship.

Episode 3: (Oct/24/2010)
Dave and Sarah are concerned that Evie might have seen what happned between them but she is not giving anything away. Dave is given an ultimatum by Sarah after he begins checking through Rita's diaries.

Episode 4: (Oct/31/2010)
Dave prepares himself for the start of the inquest into Rita's death. He is concerned when he finds out that Lucy and Ewan also plan on attending. After things get under way, Dave begins to question the future of his relationship with Sarah.
