Animal Practice Premiered on NBC on September 26, 2012

Meet Dr. George Coleman, a top-dog New York veterinarian. With an unorthodox style of operating, George's success comes from his undeniable gift with animals of all kinds. That is, all but the human kind.

Dorothy Crane once held the key to George's heart, but today she also holds the key to the family business as she takes over Crane Animal Hospital. Not only is she George's new boss, but her romantic history with him (and her lack of experience with animals) is seriously cramping his style. Dorothy is whip-smart and ambitious, and she's going to make George pay for the past. Needless to say, he's determined not to make any changes in his (animal) kingdom - which includes poker games with a resident chimpanzee.

Starring Justin Kirk (" Weeds") and directed by Emmy winners Joe and Anthony Russo (" Happy Endings," " Community," " Arrested Development"), this is a comedy where the animals are running the asylum.

This really was an awful episode and unless you really like actors AKA Andy from weeds you probably think this show would be funny but it's not it's more ridiculous than funny .

So i am cutting this out until a run out of shows to watch

George learning that his ex-girlfriend Dorothy has inherited the hospital where he works was interesting, hiding the dog and how he got him to pay for the surgery was amusing but the monkey was awesome

Angela decides to try and sell Dr. Rizzo's artwork to a gallery after being told about the Indian elephant was crafty and using the board game to see who can perform the operation on Doug's dog was amusing

Robert walking into the door once was funny but twice was over the top and George insisting that he is up for the challenge with the Terrier in kidney failure but trying to tap into his softer side to help the boy deal with the situation was terrible but Dr. Rizzo in the puppet was priceless

It didn't take long for George to sleep with the new doctor but Dr. Yamamoto becoming a media darling after performing a successful emergency surgery on the Mayor's dog was amusing

Dr. Rizzo giving George the heads up that his overbearing mother Virginia was in the hospital was great and the slow motion to wind Dorothy up was amusing

Yamamoto hanging in the closet as a Halloween prank was amusing and the way Dr. Rizzo went trick or treating was great but loosing the Ostrich after hiding it was priceless especially shooting each other with the tranquilliser gun

Angela and Dr. Rizzo watching Law of the Jungle was amusing as it was Rizzo who reminded Angela of the time and taking a shine to the cable guy when in crashed was amusing but Angela schemes to get him back ASAP being floored when Rizzo fixed it and the others fighting over Tinsley who they thought was poisoning the bird was bizarre

With what looked like Dr. Rizzo getting his own back on Dr. Yamamoto was amusing as Yamamoto tried to blame Rizzo for something he did was amusing and George wanting to fake the overweight dog's life to save him from his owner was an interesting tactic

Sparks flying between George's mom and Doug's dad was amusing as they were making out earlier

Man, I loved this show....talk about funny and Dr Rizzo deserves and Emmy. The good stuff never last.
