When a successful British husband-and-wife comedy team are lured by Hollywood to produce a new version of their hit series for a stateside audience, they're initially thrilled at the prospects. But they soon realize what the American execs have in store for their precious show – including replacing the erudite British lead with the quintessential comedy star, Matt LeBlanc – and begin to sink deeper into the quicksand that is the TV business. Before long it's clear that not just the couple's show is at stake, but perhaps even their marriage.

1. Episode One
Sean and Beverly Lincoln, a British couple and creators of a successful UK sitcom named Lyman's Boys, sell their show to an US network. When they arrive in Hollywood to produce the US remake, they learn that their lead actor has been replaced by Matt LeBlanc.

2. Episode Two
Sean and Beverly still try to come to terms with their new headmaster Matt LeBlanc when Merc invites them to a dinner party at his house. At the party, Matt appears to be charming and smart, until he upsets Beverly and she has to realize antagonizing him was a bad idea.

3. Episode Three
After falling out with Matt, Beverly leaves it to Sean to deal with Matt. During a trip to Las Vegas, Sean and Matt become good friends, but soon Beverly feels left out.

4. Episode Four
Sean and Beverly are forced to intervene before a drunken Matt drives drunk. They end up at Matt's ex-wife's house where Matt has to face past mistakes he made.

5. Episode Five
Matt takes Sean and his co-star Morning to a charity event where Sean and the actress discover their mutual feelings. Meanwhile, Carol and Beverly smoke pot and talk about the men in their lives.

6. Episode Six
When Beverly finds evidence that Sean feels attracted to Morning, she leaves their house, but causes a car crash.

7. Episode Seven
Beverly regrets leaving Sean. After coming back, Sean and Beverly wrap their show and get ready to go back to London.

1. Episode 1
Sean and Beverly's marriage has been destroyed because of Beverly's affair with Matt. Matt's friendship with Sean looksto be beyond repair. With their sitcom Pucks! about to premiere in America, the three of them are forced to find a way to continue working together.

2. Episode 2
Matt is missing his 'bromance' with Sean and attempts to restart their friendship by buying him the sports car of his dreams. The problem is though that Sean is not willing to forgive or forget that easily.

3. Episode 3
After network head Merc Lapidus's father passes away, Sean and Beverly are given a lesson in grief, Hollywood-style.

4. Episode 4
The ratings for Pucks are not looking good and the network wants Sean and Beverly to reduce Matt's part in the show to make way for his popular teenage co-stars.

5. Episode 5
Sean meets Labia, a massive fan of Matt. Morning suffers a huge plastic surgery disaster. Merc and Carol plan a weekend getaway to Mexico.

6. Episode 6
In an effort to try and improve flagging ratings, Merc asks Matt to get one of his former 'Friends' cast mates to make a special appearance on the show. Matt asks Sean and Beverly to write his speech for Merc's upcoming man of the year event.

7. Episode 7
The network ends up insisting that Sean and Beverly confront Matt about his weight gain. Matt ends up not being impressed. Beverly ends up agreeing to go out to dinner with Morning's brother Rob and the evening ends up turning into a date from hell.

8. Episode 8
Matt's life is still falling apart and he ends up he falling foul of his ex-wife. Beverly gets ready to go on a second date with Rob, but things have become more complicated since Sean has become aware that she is seeing someone.

9. Episode 9
It's the night of Merc's 'Man of the Year' event. His moment of glory ends up being ruined though when Carol tells him about Matt's affair with Jamie. Beverly and Rob grow closer. Sean is forced to decide whether he's willing to forget the past and fight for a future with his wife.

Matt's former stalker loses interest in him. Carol's dreams are dashed.

8. Episode Eight
Filming on 'Pucks!' draws to a close. Everyone focuses on what's next.

9. Episode Nine
Matt learns NBC expects him to audition for a new pilot. [Season finale]
