Royal Pains is a drama series that premiered in June 2009.

About Royal Pains:
After Brooklyn emergency medicine doctor Hank Lawson makes a principled decision in the emergency room in which he saves the life of a teenager at the cost of the life of an elderly billionaire hospital trustee, he loses his career and his fiancee. His younger brother Evan, a CPA, convinces him to go partying in the Hamptons, a ritzy community on Long Island, for a weekend. When they crash a party and Hank saves an ailing woman's life, he haphazardly becomes a concierge doctor for the rich and famous in the Hamptons. Physician assistant Divya insists on becoming Hank's employee, even though he has no intention of becoming a concierge doctor. Though most of Hank's income is generated by servicing the ills of rich clients, including a senator's son and the heir to the blender fortune, Hank also gives free concierge-style doctoring to patients who have no chance of repaying him.
