Naked and Afraid takes "survival of the fittest" to the next level. Each week, a new pair of complete and total strangers - one man and one woman - will find themselves stranded in and, quite literally, exposed to some of the world's most extreme weather environments. Each duo will be left high and dry with no food, no water...and no clothes. They must survive on their own for a full 21 days, with nothing but one personal item each and the knowledge that the only prize is their pride and sense of accomplishment.

In Naked and Afraid, these brazen and bold couples will get acquainted with each other and their new surroundings very quickly, forcing them to question and test everything they may think they know about their acquired survival skills and instincts.

Will the nude castaways have the brains and brawn to endure the harsh conditions? Or will the challenges prove to be overbare-ing? Watch as each couple battles the elements, each other, and their own inner weakness to see who will triumph over the terrain or fail under the force of nature.

I cant believe I have just come in and while out listening to our national Radio one and them talking about this show so at some point I'm going to watch at leased a couple of episodes to see what the fuss is about

Kim and Shane being tasked with surviving 21 days in the Costa Rican jungle totally naked was strange as they are total stranger but Kim suggesting they check each other out first was amusing, pouring rain starting day two for three days must of been hard but at leased she was able to make something to wear and leaving the fire unattended was a close call for Shane

After watching the first episode it's obvious each episode covers a different couple struggle for 21 days, EJ and Kellie being the next couple was interesting as how different they coped to the first couple but they were dropped off in Tanzania which was a lot hotter, EJ making fun of Kellie because she was fishing by sitting in the water with her legs apart was amusing as she was the one who caught the fish

The third couple stranded on a Maldivian island was nice but Alison's laid back attitude was bound to rub Jonathan the wrong way as he's a former Marine, Jonathan getting sunburnt because of the extreme heat wasn't good but complaining about Alison only getting coconut when he's done nothing for three days was selfish

Clint and Laura being tormented by sand flies, snakes and crocodiles will make their stay on a Panamanian island will be a little more risky but Laura catching two lobsters when Clint thought it was a wast of time was great

Puma and Julie being shipped off to Borneo was interesting and with Julie being over six feet tall should make things easier but with Puma getting ill from probable drinking contaminated water leaving Julie to survive alone made it twice as hard and what a shame she only managed 18 days

Billy and Ky being left in Louisiana with venomous snakes and alligators makes this another challenging experience but Billy complaining what the cold water was effecting was amusing and the weather washing away their camp made things twice as hard as they had to build a fire above the water

Finding a snake inside another snake was a surprise but the whole cast and their families giving their insight to their experience was interesting

Manu and Russell were a lot more comfortable being naked than Cassie and Forrest and the fact never couple knows about the other was interesting as they eventually meet at the water fall but I wasn't surprised Cassie and Forrest were butting heads after their shelter collapsed, it didn't take long before the other couple got fed up with Cassie and Manu contracting dengue fever was sad

Recap of the last episode was a little pointless but the extra footage of the unseen and wild moments of two pairs of strangers was nice, finding out a little more about Manu's life threatening illness was interesting but Russell warning Manu he wakes up with a hard on was amusing and Cassie standing in Russell's poo was priceless

Amanda and Tyler being unable to survive in the Amazon rainforest was unfortunate but the fact Tyler who replased the original survivor who didn't even start made it a triple tragedy, EJ and Laura from last season arrive to complete AK and Tyler's 21 day journey was different

Jeff and Eva testing their survival skills in the harsh desert of Madagascar was a lot different from the rain of the Amazon and with Eva not keen on killing animals was going to make it more challenging but black widows and scorpions occupying the the cave made their stay more risky their inability to cook snakes was surprising

Fiji at first looks was beautiful but Alana and Keith having a deserted island all to them selves was no picnic but Alana having to finish on her own after Keith was hospitalised was awesome as she was the first to finish alone

Shannon and Cass being challenged to survive in the flooded jungle of Belize was interesting as they have very little in common and the lack of food they were lucky to stay the 21 days
