Life is all about balance. So what happens when you throw a new baby into it?

Reagan (Christina Applegate) and her husband, Chris (Will Arnett), are the proud new parents of baby Amy. She may have been unexpected, but life's curve balls can be a godsend, literally. Unless you have a career that needs attention, which is exactly what Reagan has. So, bucking tradition, they decide Reagan's the one going back to work while Chris is going to be the stay-at-home dad. Easy, right? Well, not quite.

Back at work at her high-pressure job, Reagan immediately feels the push and pull of motherhood and career while her self-involved co-worker, Ava (Maya Rudolph), can't believe her best friend now has a baby (nor can she even remember if it's a boy or girl!) Then her Facebook-generation assistant reminds Reagan of the free-wheeling lifestyle she and Chris once had. She also remembers that no matter how rowdy the partying once was, she always managed to get home, something that makes her very proud.

Determined to prove that she and Chris still have a hot love life, and that she can be the perfect wife, mother, and career woman, Reagan spins a little out of control. But she eventually realizes that Amy is her new number one priority and somehow everything (except maybe Chris) is going to take a backseat to their new bundle of joy.

Written by Saturday Night Live's Emily Spivey, executive produced by Lorne Michaels, and directed by James Griffiths (Episodes), Reagan and Chris are about to find out whether it's really possible to have it all.

That was a nice letter Chris wrote but who don't want to slip into something comfortable after a hard day's work but Chris wanting something sexy was amusing

I was beginning to wonder on the episode name when they brought a secondhand van but the motor they got was practical and all because they couldn't get the beach gear in the convertible

Reagan loosing her temper at Amy's playgroup was amusing but helping to attack the pushchair was priceless

Ava's assistant allowing her to cut her hair in a deal to overcome her fears that was keeping her away from Reagan's birth was beyond the call of duty and having a young doctor was amusing

Chris vowing to make some lifestyle changes when he starts to fear that his life may be cut short because his lifetime subscription to his magazine runs out in 2032 was interesting and the lengths Reagan went to avoid her parents and then reconnect was amusing

Ava quizzing Kevin's daughter about his love life was amusing and Chris and Reagan getting her to babysitting Amy was a brave move in the first place

I cant believe Chris went through the new babysitters bag looking for drugs and i have to agree that Nancy was the worst assistant but was a good babysitter

Ava trying to win over Kevin's daughter by giving her vocal lessons was amusing and Reagan cutting the neighbors hedge without permission was funny

What happened to Chris at the mall when he went to find a gift for Reagan was terrible but the baby laughing when Reagan and her mother fell from the ladder was amusing

Missy bringing an unexpected date to the party was amusing but Reagan's extreme competitiveness coming out at a New Year's Eve game night almost ruined the night and I'm not surprise Kevin was worried that Ava is ashamed of him

Reagan developing some jealous feelings towards Chris's new female friend was amusing but letting slip about watching the series finale together was careless

The things Reagan had to do in the hope of securing a coveted spot for Amy at a prestigious preschool was crazy and the two Brinkley boys reverting to their old competitive childhood ways when Chris's older brother comes to visit was childish
