Sean's a divorced dad who's trying to juggle it all. From his overbearing boss and offbeat employees at work - to his pushy mom and weekends with his teenage daughter at home - handling it all is no easy task. So when Ellie, his 14-year-old bundle of joy, moves in full-time, it's a whole new challenge.

Never one to do anything halfway, Sean's intent on being the best dad ever - so he loads up on parenting how-to books and plans Pinterest-worthy family dinners. But it seems his company's new owner has decided Sean and his team should work longer hours, throwing a kink in his perfectly constructed homemaking plans. Ellie, a normal girl who wants to hang with her friends and eat on the run, sees this development as a plus. She loves her dad, but he's clearly going overboard.

From keeping his boss happy, his employees motivated and enduring his mother's tactless "advice" to raising a smart, grounded and healthy kid, it's going to be a growing experience, to say the least. But if anyone…

Max thinking Sean has a crush on him was amusing and shaking the weasel did look rude but you just knew Sean blind date with the Periodontist would be a disaster

Max's behaviour while his father Lee was in town made sense as Sean's mother is just as bad but trying to set up Lorna on a date with Lee was going to be easy as their first meeting didn't go well

Sean faking  an injury to get out of partnering with Lorna was sneaky as Ellie was blackmailing her dad over a Christmas photo but poor Liz getting injured when Sean decided to compete against them

The way Sean protected Liz from the wife of the guy she hooked up with was amusing but Lorna setting Sean up to go on a date with his dry cleaner was priceless, Liz saving Sean with the help of Hunter was quick thinking

What a bad time for Sean to decide to teach Ellie the value of discipline as grounding her from her trip also spoils his weekend to go to a wedding with Liz

When Max enlisted Sean's help to pinpoint the mole I had a felling it would lead back to him but he should be more careful what he tells his hairdresser

Sean getting upset when he discovered the secret Liz has been keeping was interesting as she had got herself another gay friend because Sean spends to much time with his family but using Tippy to get Liz jealous was amusing

Sean eating the food from under the settee cushions was crazy and the ladies having a never-ending supply of tequila was disturbing but Liz and Hunter discovering they fancy each other should be interesting
