Based on the popular young adult novel by Blake Nelson, “Recovery Road” focuses on Maddie, a teenage girl dealing with addiction. Maddie has a reputation as a party girl who doesn’t think she has a problem, until she’s confronted one day by her school guidance counselor and is forced to choose between expulsion and rehab. Maddie makes the difficult decision to live with other recovering addicts at a sober living facility while facing the daily pressures of her teenage life.

Maddie not realise she has a problem was predictable in fact this isn't as good as i thought it was it's clear the acting is bad from main actress she is trying but they really should more experienced actress to play this role. Finding out it was her mother who asked the school counsellor search her locker was nice twist.

Maddie trying hide the fact she in rehab from her friends was tricky but its a good thing Rebecca was there to stop Madie from having a drink she really did her a Favor and Maddie trying to repay the favour was nice but it does look like Rebecca has other issues she been hiding .

Maddie going on recover call was interesting as she saw first hand what happens when addiction take over life completely and that made her go to AA was good results.
