Cat Deeley Hosts New Dating Series with a Twist

FOX takes the dating game show for a spin by giving celebrities THE CHOICE to prove that love is really blind. Hosted by Cat Deeley and debuting Thursday, June 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), THE CHOICE features the world’s most eligible celebrities competing to find true love among a group of sexy singles…they can’t see.

“ We wanted to put a new spin on the dating game show that gives celebrities THE CHOICE of a lifetime and the chance to prove you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

A dating show in the style of The Voice is amusing and some of the contestants did sound over the top but as they have only 30 seconds to impress the panel it is predictable, Pauly D picking Alyssa as his final girl was so predicable after she said about the stripper pole and out of the 12 girls Rachael was the strangest but glad she was chosen for a date

I'm glad Parker picked Becky as his final girl after what the other one said and the questions the girls asked in the speed round were amusing especially Becky telling Parker not to talk but ask questions

The Situation picking the Jersey girl was predictable but her picking him because he was the first to turn around was fair and him being the first to have three girls was a surprise, Taylor breaking the rules by jumping out his seat was funny

The girls picking the guys makes a nice change, Sophie not finishing her sentence about being easy was funny, Carmen and Rima both changing their minds after turning around was a first so Andrew having to chose knowing they changed their minds must of been uncomfortable

Princess bringing her dog must of been her downfall as none of them turned around and all the guys turning around before Myrna spoke was amusing

Dean turning around for Amanda after she described her butt was amusing  and after the question I had a feeling he would pick her for the date, Tyson being the first to have three dates was great and looks like he will see the one he picked again
