Rock & Chips is a prequel to the popular Only Fools And Horses series. The series is set in 1960 and it sees the Trotter family all living togther. The family consists of Grandad, Joan, Reg and the teenage Del Boy.

I remember watching this last year, will have to watch it again

I'm half way through the pilot episode and seeing what the regular Only Fools And Horses case would of been like as teenagers is amusing

Joan being plagued by the unwelcome attentions of her boss after being promoted from ice cream girl to assistant manager at the cinema was predictable but she got her own back (as seen in the clip) and all Del's mates thinking Joan was hot knot knowing it was his mom was amusing, doctoring the car and sending Reg and the other to Guildford to get Joan along was clever but i was surprised he got her to bed so easy but the joke about spreading his friend on his three favorite places before having him cremated was funny and Freddie being Rodney father was priceless considering who the actor is

Telling Roy about their record business not knowing he's a police cadet was amusing and Reg managing to find Joan plenty of work was typical but Del being liberal with the engagement ring was amusing but the knitted sari was priceless

I think I read that no more episodes are going to be made because John Sullivan died.

That's a shame but why they only made one episode a year was strange

Joan's boss getting turned on by the slap was disturbing but Freddie being arrested for murder i thought it was for Joan's boss but the broken fingers was the perfect punishment and trust her to porn the ring and Del's face when what he thought was Barbra's mother answered the door was priceless considering his rehearsed speech but her mother coming onto Del was a surprise
