Van going to check on his mother after only just being warned about being late was a risky move and I cant believe he questioned his orders to hand over the money but to then turn off the phone when he was told to answer it no matter what he was doing was unbelievable stupid, the girl he spent the night with asking for money was a surprise as she didn't look like a call girl but the flash backs during interrogation revealing he was doing it for his brother and his interrogator trying his hardest to stop him from signing his statement was unusual as once he signs he faces the death penalty

The woman from the Australian high commission only seconds from stopping him from signing his statement was unbelievable but Julian and Lex agreeing to take on the case for free and at the expense of upsetting their personal lives was nice, what a tragedy the lawyer who could help them died from a heart attack Van, mother and his friends doing a press conference was very emotional and his brother Khoa only coming home when he found out he will be hanged in fifteen days was annoying as it had been three years but the last day visits was sad as Van had come to terms with his impending death
