Woodley Premiered on ABC1 on February 22, 2012

Woodley (Frank Woodley) is the chaotic and accident prone, yet devoted father of seven-year-old Ollie (Alexandra Cashmere). Recently divorced, his ex-wife Em (Justine Clarke) couldn’t live amongst the chaos but Woodley secretly hopes that one day he’ll win her back and they’ll be a family again. But with Em’s new boyfriend Greg (Tom Long) on the scene, it’s not going to be easy. For Em, Greg is reliable and focussed, everything that Woodley wasn’t while they were married, and it doesn’t take long for Greg to slip easily into the fabric of their lives. Woodley struggles to come to terms with Em’s new relationship and endeavours to prove to Em that he’s still worthy of her love. Ollie loves her dad to bits and Woodley’s, determined to never let her down or lose the special spot in her heart that she holds just for him. But as Greg’s affection for Em grows, and Em in turn sees a possible future with Greg, will Woodley be able to win Em back before it’s too late? Frank Woodley has been at the forefront of physical comedy for the last 25 years, largely as one half of the award-winning duo Lano and Woodley. Since 2007, Frank has been performing in sell-out solo shows in Australia and the UK. It has taken Frank over five years to bring Woodley to life.

You could see from a mile away that Woodley would get the wrong idea about the child saying oh! and getting tapped by the fan was crazy but funny and overall the first episode was a little disappointing

You just knew Ollie's dads would leave Fuzzby behind when she was staying the night at his house and promising to have Ollie asleep by 9 o’clock was not going to happen without Fuzzby but what happened at his wife's place was like watching a silent comedy with the three of them creeping about

How awkward for Woodley when he meets Em’s new boyfriend Greg and realises that he is actually Dr Greg Fisher - the very psychologist who is about to learn all of his intimate stories and secret fears

You just knew Greg would step up to the challenge when Woodley backed out of taking part in the juggling act involving machetes and when Ollie finds out her dad creates the illusion of being part of the act, all the while hiding in the wings I'm not surprised she was crushed but rescuing the baby made up for it and was impressive

Now that's what you call bad luck when Woodley gives his grandfather Vern a slap on the back only to knock his glass eye out and get smashed on the floor

I accident with the urn was amusing but what terrible behavior at the funeral

Poor Ollie when It’s Dad Day at her school and Woodley tries to make a good impression by dressing as a policeman were he tries to convince her class that he’s a fearless officer of the law

Trust Woodley to go to the toilet inside the display home when it's not plumed in and then finding themselves accidentally locked inside for the night but at least he got his ex to the church on time
