Episode 1: (Jul/15/2013)
Carol is a single mother attempting to keep her family together. After her teenage sons commit an act of violence that ends in the death of a stranger, she faces the choice of protecting her children or doing the right thing.

Episode 2: (Jul/16/2013)
Ying is an illegal immigrant who sells pirate DVDs and stolen phones at cafes and pubs in Brixton. She needs to pay back her debts to the Snakehead gang, but after an immigration raid leaves her with no friends, home or money, she forms a bond with Jamal, the owner of a local barbershop.

Episode 3: (Jul/17/2013)
Richard is a recovering heroin addict who spends each day finding it hard to stay clean. The possibility of re-establishing contact with his teenage daughter helps him to try and stay clean.

Episode 4: (Jul/18/2013)
Kasia, a Polish woman, came to London filled with hope for the future. Years later she is still working as a cleaner, finding it hard to make ends meet and dealing with a gambling addict for a boyfriend. After she finds out that he has been killed in a vicious attack, she finds her world changing forever.
