At the center of Romantically Challenged are four single friends, all of whom are, well, Romantically Challenged, Rebecca Thomas has just gotten divorced after a fairly lengthy marriage and even longer relationship, Lisa is the standard sitcom flirt who's never even had a relationship, Perry is the stable, slightly neurotic, workaholic, who supports his friend and roommate, Shawn is a wannabe writer who spends all day hacking away at short stories.

Episode 1: Don't Be Yourself
Rebecca decides to start dating again when she hears that her ex-husband is getting remarried. Meanwhile, Perry meets a girl who has a bizarre tendency.

Episode 2: The Charade
Rebecca wonders why Lisa would break up with Neil, when he seemed to be perfect. Meanwhile, Perry kicks Shawn out of the apartment after he fails to pick him up from an operation.

Episode 3: Perry & Rebecca's High School Reunion
Rebecca intends to confront the guy who stood her up for the senior prom but Perry makes up a lie so she won't find out the real reason Jesse stood her up. Shawn can't watch the championship games with his cable company so he romances Lisa's friend, Vanessa, who's cable company is airing the games.

Episode 4: Rebecca's One Night Stand
Rebecca has her first one night stand with Leo, but complicates things when she calls him the next morning. Her sister Lisa will have to help her get rid of Leo. Perry decides to take a break from work but this only irritates his unemployed roommate Shawn.
