About the Show:
The Mimic is a comedy series which is centered around the life of Martin Hurdle, an unremarkable maintenance man who in fact conceals an exceptional talent. He is refered to as ‘a bit of an oddball’ but under this strange persona, hides an uncanny ability to mimic voices.

Episode 1: (Mar/13/2013)
Martin is on his way to the faceless pharmaceutical company which he calls works. His life though, is about to take a dramatic turn after he finds out that he could be the father of eighteen year-old boy called Steven, the son of former lover Dionne. Martin and Steven make plans to meet up and Martin is determined to make a good first impression.

Episode 2: (Mar/20/2013)
Martin is feeling lonely but has become absorbed by his impersonations of Christopher Walken. He is able to convince an American swimsuit model to send him naked pictures and having quit work for a total of three days, he returns to find his younger co-worker Chelsea is now in charge.

Episode 3: (Mar/27/2013)
Jean manages to accidentally leave the bath water running for six hours and ends up flooding Martin's basement. He's hoping that the local computer repair shop can savalge his laptop hard drive, but the police are alerted afterthe staff spot a picture of a naked baby on hiss computer. After managing to explain the innocent baby picture to the police, Martin decides it time to take his son Steven on a trip to the zoo in an attempt to make up for lost time.

Episode 4: (Apr/03/2013)
Following a blissful couple of weeks, Jean's love life comes to a stand still. Stephen's management of Martin's new career as a voice-over artist is in going well and he's secured him another job recording some sat nav voices.

Episode 5: (Apr/10/2013)
The day of Martin's first television appearance is fast approaching. Jean decides he requires a makeover in preparation but things do not exactly go to plan and after Martin discovers that he has lost his voice, Neil takes him to his dad's doctor for a cure.

Episode 1: (Jul/16/2014)
Since quitting his maintenance job and his big break on television not going to plan, Martin finds work increasingly hard to get. His son and agent Steve decides to go travelling following the death of hos mother. Martin manages to find a new agent called Neil in the local newsagents.

Episode 2: (Jul/23/2014)
Jean decides to set Martin up on a blind date with her assertive friend from Zumba and things go well. Neil believes that his elevated oestrogen level is the reason Jean dumped him and decides to build-a-ted workshop so that he can make a cuddly toy to win back her heart.

Episode 3: (Jul/30/2014)
Martin manages to get himself a job in site maintenance at a disused Warehouse, and discovers an antique ring in a drain.

Episode 4: (Aug/06/2014)
Martin decides that he wants a family for Steven and proposes to Harriet with the ring he found.

Episode 5: (Aug/13/2014)
With the wedding just around the corner, Harriet's become a Bridezilla, making increasingly drastic demands on Martin. After Martin meets her decidedly non-kosher brother at his stag weekend, doubts start to arise about Harriet's real motives.

Episode 6: (Aug/20/2014)
Harriet and Martin are about to get married but with Martin having backed out of the bris required by Harriet's family, it now falls on him to pay for the wedding.
