About the Show:
The people of Arcadia, Missouri are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return. An 8-year-old American boy (Landon Gimenez) wakes up alone in a rice paddy in a rural Chinese province with no idea how he got there. Details start to emerge when the boy, who calls himself Jacob, recalls that his hometown is Arcadia, and an Immigration agent, J. Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps), takes him there. The home he claims as his own is occupied by an elderly couple, Henry (Kurtwood Smith) and Lucille Langston (Frances Fisher), who lost their son, Jacob, more than 30 years ago. While they look different, young Jacob recognizes them as his parents. Those closest to the family try to unravel this impossible mystery, including Sheriff Fred Langston (Matt Craven), whose wife, Barbara, drowned 30 years ago while trying to save Jacob. But this boy who claims to be the deceased Jacob knows secrets about his own death that no one else knows -- secrets that Fred's daughter, Maggie Langston (Devin Kelly), will begin to investigate and discover to be true.

Resurrection stars Omar Epps (House) as Martin, Matt Craven (Crimson Tide, A Few Good Men) as Fred, Devin Kelley (Chernobyl Diaries, The Chicago Code) as Maggie, Frances Fisher (Titanic) as Lucille, Kurtwood Smith (That 70s Show) as Henry, Sam Hazeldine (The Raven) as Caleb, Samaire Armstrong (Entourage, The O.C.) as Elaine, Mark Hildreth (Dragon Ball Z) as Tom and Landon Gimenez as Jacob.

Written by Aaron Zelman (Damages, The Killing), Resurrection is executive produced by Aaron Zelman, JoAnn Alfano, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Jon Liebman, Brillstein Entertainment and Plan B. The pilot was directed by Charles McDougall. Resurrection is produced by ABC Studios.

Episode 1: The Returned (Mar/09/2014)
Thirty years have passed since the death of their son Jacob, so the reappearance of an 8-year-old boy who by all appearances is their son causes quite a shock for Henry and Lucille Langston, now in their 60's. Immigration agent Bellamy's normally routine job becomes increasingly complicated as he tries to figure out what is happening.

Episode 2: Unearth (Mar/16/2014)
Bellamy enlists Maggie's help to convince the families to allow Jacob's exhumation. Meanwhile, the family of the second resurrectee struggles with his reappearance.

Episode 3: Two Rivers (Mar/23/2014)
The exhumation of Jacob's crypt doesn't solve any answers. Bellamy's suspicions turn toward Caleb as he discovers his criminal past and current mysterious behavior. The townspeople start reacting from fear, despite Pastor Tom's council, but even his faith is shaken by the arrival of another visitor.

Episode 4: Us Against the World (Mar/30/2014)
Bellamy convinces Sheriff Langston of Caleb's criminal activities and a manhunt begins. Maggie examines Jacob after he has a seizure and is puzzled by the results. Pastor Tom struggles with his feelings over the return of his former love.

Episode 5: Insomnia (Apr/06/2014)
Bellamy and Langston fear the FBI will descend upon the town soon because of the bank robbery and then all of the returned will be taken away, even Jacob. They pressure Elaine for her help in recovering the stolen money to prevent this from happening. Pastor Tom takes Rachael to see Maggie because she is not feeling well and Maggie discovers something that shocks her. Bellamy suffers from nightmares of a previous lost child.

Episode 6: Home (Apr/13/2014)
Maggie calls in a doctor friend from the NIH to help figure out what is going on. Fear spreads through the town as they learn of the third returned and when authorities have no explanation for Caleb's disappearance.

Episode 7: Schemes of the Devil (Apr/27/2014)
Bellamy, Pastor Tom and the Sheriff all search for Rachael in order to prevent a tragedy. Dr. Ward discovers a shocking result from Jacob's blood and asks Maggie to return with him to Maryland. The town gets thrown into a panic.

Episode 8: Torn Apart (May/04/2014)
The massive influx of returnees overwhelms Arcadia's resources, causing Bellamy to call for federal help. The assistance is not what he expected and Sheriff Fred exacerbates the situation after meeting his returned wife.

Bellamy ends up waking up alone on the outskirts of Arcadia, unable to remember the events of the last seven days.

Episode 2x02: Echoes (Oct/05/2014)
Bellamy and Sheriff Fred get a report that someone is living in Caleb Richard's old hunting shack. The pair fear that Caleb may have returned. Janine moves back home, in hope of saving her marriage.

Tom starts a new parish for the returned. Bellamy confesses as human bones are found in the river.

Episode 2x04: Old Scars (Oct/19/2014)
Margaret convinces Lucille to host a dinner celebrating the return of Jacob. But when unexpected guests turn up, the strains in the Langston family are clear to see. Bellamy continues researching the mysterious bones. Rachael receives news about the baby that unsettles her.

Episode 2x05: Will (Oct/26/2014)
Margaret tries stopping Barbara from interfering with her relationship with Fred and Maggie. Bellamy struggles to keep his secret hidden, as he's forced to take desperate measures as the illness continues to spread.

Episode 2x06: Afflictions (Nov/02/2014)
Bellamy looks for help from a surprising source. Another disappearance results in a quest for answers.

Episode 2x07: Miracles (Nov/09/2014)
Rachael refuses to accept any treatment for the virus as she is concerned for the safety of her unborn child. Elaine's brother Ray comes down with the disease.

Episode 2x08: Forsaken (Nov/30/2014)
Anti-Returned rhetoric increases with Pastor Tom's church becoming a refuge.

Episode 2x09: Aftermath (Dec/07/2014)
The death a beloved member of the community leaves Arcadians in mourning whilst a cure for the virus is provided by stem cells from Rachael's baby.

Episode 2x10: Prophecy (Jan/04/2015)
Jacob and Margaret go missing during a violent storm that knocks out the power.

Episode 2x11: True Believer (Jan/11/2015)
The return of Preacher James brings an ominous new energy to the town, especially for Bellamy who seems to have a strange and unnerving connection to him. Now a detainee at the government facility, Margaret keeps to herself but her reputation precedes her and the other returned definitely take notice. Then the unthinkable happens to Henry which shakes everybody’s faith to their core.

Episode 2x12: Steal Away (Jan/18/2015)
Following a series of inexplicable events, Bellamy is concerned for the safety of Rachael and her unborn baby. James believes that the baby’s birth will cause an ancient evil to return. Margaret attempts to rally the Returned at the government facility and makes an uneasy alliance with Preacher James.

Episode 2x13: Love in Return (Jan/25/2015)
Preacher James and his congregation make their way to the Langston house to prevent the birth of Rachael's baby.
