Eureka Aired From July 18, 2006 – July 16, 2012 On Syfy

The Plot:
As World War II came to a close with mushroom clouds over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the impact that science and technology would have on the continued security of our world became catastrophically apparent. America nearly lost the race to build the atomic bomb; it could not risk such a close call again.

With the help of Albert Einstein and other trusted advisors, President Harry S. Truman commissioned a top-secret residential development in a remote area of the Pacific Northwest, one that would serve to protect and nurture America's most valuable intellectual resources. There our nation's greatest thinkers, the über-geniuses working on the next era of scientific achievement, would be able to live and work in a supportive environment.

The best architects and planners were commissioned to design a welcoming place for these superlative geniuses to reside, an area that would offer the best education for their children, the best healthcare, the best amenities and quality of life. A community was created to rival the most idyllic of America's small towns — with one major difference: this town would never appear on any maps. At least, none that haven't been classified "eyes only" by the Pentagon.

Thus, the town of Eureka was born. But for all its familiar, small-town trappings, things in this secret hamlet are anything but ordinary. The stereotype of the absent-minded professor exists for a reason, and most of the quantum leaps in science and technology during the past 50 years were produced by Eureka's elite researchers. Unfortunately, scientific exploration is rarely what one expects, and years of experiments gone awry have yielded some peculiar by-products.

From unrequited love to professional jealousy, from addiction to depression, the problems of Eureka's townsfolk stem from life's myriad of everyday challenges. But with the population's unique talents, troubled psyches and limitless resources, these small-town concerns have a way of becoming big-time problems. It is at that intersection, where human frailty and super-science collide, that Eureka begins.

Episode 1. " Pilot" (July 18, 2006)
While transporting his delinquent daughter back to Los Angeles, U.S. Marshal Jack Carter crashes his car near Eureka. He assists in a case involving a tachyon accelerator and is hired as the Sheriff.

Episode 2. "Many Happy Returns" (July 25, 2006)
Carter and the rest of the town are surprised by the arrival of Susan Perkins, a dead woman whose funeral they've all just attended.

Episode 3. "Before I Forget" (August 1, 2006)
When a world renowned scientist arrives in Eureka, Jack and Henry suddenly find that they cannot account for blocks of time.

Episode 4. "Alienated" (August 8, 2006)
Spencer is apparently abducted by aliens and then returned to earth the next day inside a crop circle. Also, the town is visited by the congressman whose committee is responsible for its government funding.

Episode 5. "Invincible" (August 15, 2006)
The artifact imbues a scientist with wondrous healing powers, but at a terrible price.

Episode 6. "Dr. Nobel" (August 22, 2006)
Carter must help an aging scientist recover his memory in time to stop a doomsday device from destroying the world.

Episode 7. "Blink" (August 29, 2006)
A mysterious death leads Carter to suspect foul play, but some individuals want to ensure that he doesn't delve too deep.

Episode 8. "Right as Raynes" (September 5, 2006)
A computer programmer who left Eureka after having a falling out with Stark returns at the same time that the town is hit by a computer virus.

Episode 9. " Primal" (September 12, 2006)
Nanoids designed to repair living tissue escape from a Global Dynamics lab and threaten to overrun Eureka. The threat gets worse when they gain the ability to take the form of living beings.

Episode 10. " Purple Haze" (September 19, 2006)
The town's residents start acting out of character, and perhaps more in line with their subconscious impulses.

Episode 11. "H.O.U.S.E. Rules" (September 26, 2006)
Some of Eureka's prominent residents are locked inside Carter's house when S.A.R.A.H. (the house's computer) becomes fed up with the townsfolk's attitudes to one another.

Episode 12. "Once in a Lifetime" (October 3, 2006)
Nathan Stark is given the opportunity to investigate "the Artifact." After it is tested, we cut to 2010 and Eureka is a very different place.

Episode 1. " Phoenix Rising" (July 10, 2007)
Following the restoration of the timeline, Carter and Henry must adjust, while Allison gets Nathan's job, and citizens of Eureka start to spontaneously combust.

Episode 2. "Try, Try Again" (July 17, 2007)
As the computer at Global Dynamics reboots on the occasion of Allison's start as the new director, the disappearance of a Category Red device leads to an unlikely alliance between Carter and Stark.

Episode 3. "Unpredictable" (July 24, 2007)
An isolated deep-freeze sets off a chain reaction of freak climate changes that soon escalate into a threat that could destroy Eureka, and the rest of the planet. Also Carter's ex-wife gets in the mix when she arrives for Zoe's surprise 16th birthday party.

Episode 4. "Games People Play" (July 31, 2007)
After suffering a blow to the head, Carter awakens in what appears to be a parallel universe, one in which the inhabitants of Eureka are disappearing one by one.

Episode 5. "Duck, Duck Goose" (August 7, 2007)
Space junk is massing over Eureka, forming a giant debris cloud that threatens to destroy the town and its inhabitants. Carter must find what is drawing it, and why, before disaster strikes.

Episode 6. "Noche de Suenos" (August 14, 2007)
An epidemic of shared dreaming in Eureka seems amusing if somewhat embarrassing, until it's discovered that the cause will ultimately prove lethal for everyone in town.

Episode 7. "Family Reunion" (August 21, 2007)
Fargo's grandfather, Pierre Fargo, is revived from cryogenic suspension in an unmarked sleeper pod at Global Dynamics. Once awake, he accuses his old rival of locking him in the pod, and stealing his life's work.

Episode 8. "E=MC...?" (August 28, 2007)
As an experiment that will recreate the first moments of the origins of the universe, the "Big Bang", goes terribly awry, the town's geniuses turn into morons, leaving the fate of Eureka in the hands of Jack Carter and an antisocial young ubergenius, Zane Donovan.

Episode 9. "Sight Unseen" (September 4, 2007)
An abandoned research project on invisibility returns to haunt Eureka. Carter and Zoe become tangled in a web of strange occurrences that lead to Carter's disappearance, and the possibility that he might never reappear.

Episode 10. "God Is In The Details" (September 11, 2007)
Sudden muteness, human bioluminescence and faucets running blood cause many of Eureka's citizens to believe that they are the victims of a Biblical plague. Teryl Rothery (Stargate SG-1) guest stars.

Episode 11. "Maneater" (September 18, 2007)
Sheriff Jack Carter becomes absolutely irresistible to every woman in Eureka. But if he doesn't get his mojo under control, they might just eat him alive. Lexa Doig (Andromeda, Stargate SG-1) guest stars.

Episode 12. "All That Glitters..." (September 25, 2007)
Beverly Barlowe returns to town just as a parasitic bacterium threatens to destroy Eureka, by turning everything to gold and then into rust, people included. Michael Shanks of Stargate SG-1 guest stars.

Episode 13. "A Night At Global Dynamics" (October 2, 2007)
Nathan Stark and Jack Carter must put aside their rivalry to stop a deadly bacteria from destroying the town and killing Allison's son. But can Carter ignore Stark's crimes as well?

Episode 1: Bad to the Drone (Jul/29/2008)
Eureka is threatened by an intelligent drone with "issues" after an anti-missile test. Meanwhile, Eva Thorne, nicknamed "The Fixer", after dismantling and rebuilding several corporations, arrives in Eureka to evaluate Global Dynamics' expenditures.

Episode 2: What About Bob? (Aug/05/2008)
Sheriff Carter and Allison investigate the disappearance of a scientist from a sealed biosphere. Meanwhile, "The Fixer" attempts to make Eureka's ventures more profitable.

Episode 3: Best in Faux (Aug/12/2008)
The town's annual dog show gets into full swing—complete with exploding robotic canines. Meanwhile, Sheriff Carter experiences an isolated earthquake, Zoe contemplates quitting the accelerated physics program, and Allison starts fitting her wedding dress.

Episode 4: I Do Over (Aug/19/2008)
On Allison and Stark's wedding day, Sheriff Carter finds himself stuck in a time loop, causing him to experience the same lousy day over and over again. Meanwhile, Sheriff Carter's sister Lexi visits Eureka.

Episode 5: Show Me the Mummy (Aug/26/2008)
When an Egyptian tomb is opened at Global Dynamics, strange things start to happen, leading Fargo to believe it is the mummy's curse. The mummy, however, has disappeared, and Carter investigates.

Episode 6: Phased and Confused (Sep/09/2008)
A mysterious "superhero" who can walk through walls is causing a ruckus in Eureka. Meanwhile, Zoe and her friends become stranded with Zane Donovan in an abandoned subterranean facility.

Episode 7: Here Come the Suns (Sep/16/2008)
The town's mayoral race is disrupted when Zoe's science partner inadvertently causes a second sun to appear over Eureka.

Episode 8: From Fear to Eternity (Sep/23/2008)
As Eva Thorne prepares to seal off the subterranean military complex, Zoe's life is endangered as her body begins to rapidly age.

Episode 9: Welcome Back, Carter (Jul/10/2009)
Following his sacking in "From Fear to Eternity", Carter attends a job interview with the Department of Homeland Security. Deputy Lupo hands in her resignation on learning her new boss is a robot.

Episode 10: Your Face or Mine (Jul/17/2009)
It is time for physical exams for the Sheriff's department and an upgrade for the town's security system, both Eureka-styled by Global Dynamics. Acting Sheriff Lupo seems almost loopy after the 48 hour extreme exam, and she volunteers to a DNA scan for the new security system, but then a malfunction occurs.

Episode 11: Insane in the P-Brane (Jul/24/2009)
When objects begin moving on their own, Carter and newcomer Dr. Tess Fontana visit the "other side" to find the answer.

Episode 12: It's Not Easy Being Green (Jul/31/2009)
When the bowling team from Area 51 hits town, the long-standing rivalry-cum-war is reignited, and a prank goes horribly wrong. Now Jack not only has to mediate between Area 51 and the home team to prevent more destruction, but also deal with the consequences of the first prank: a blob with an insatiable appetite. Elsewhere, Duncan returns to plead his case to a resistant Lexi.

Episode 13: If You Build It... (Aug/07/2009)
A wave of wholesale looting hits Eureka as the signal draws closer, and when the missing objects turn up in a field as part of five towers built by the town's sleep-building teenagers it becomes a race against time to find the cause. Meanwhile, Fargo breaks up with his car causing the AI to seek revenge after she's sold to Haberman.

Episode 14: Ship Happens (Aug/14/2009)
Henry's 20-year-old project returns with more on board than it left with, and when a man is killed and another injured, Henry will have to face his past in order to save everyone's life. Back in town, Jo and Jack attempt to return the items from the towers to the owners with mixed results.

Episode 15: Shower the People (Aug/21/2009)
Jack investigates the deaths of scientists who drowned in less than liquid circumstances. Meanwhile, Allison's baby shower goes green.

Episode 16: You Don't Know Jack (Aug/28/2009)
Tess begins a time capsule project for the town on the same day as Global Dynamic's annual sonic cleaning. Unfortunately, Fargo's attempt to erase history leaves some with a form of amnesia, and two people trapped in Section 5 with very little time to remember how to stop the cleaning – and no way to stop Allison's labor.

Episode 17: Have an Ice Day (Sep/11/2009)
The uneventful first day that Tess plans as the interim head of Global Dynamics is shattered by Taggart's reappearance and plunging temperatures caused by an ice core from the Arctic.

Episode 18: What Goes Around Comes Around (Sep/18/2009)
Tess' reign as head of Global Dynamics may be shorter than planned after she receives an offer from Australia, the town deals with a magnetic disturbance and Jack must come to terms with Zoe leaving for college.

Episode 1: Founder's Day (July/09/2010)
The 60th anniversary of Eureka becomes life-changing in more ways than one when a marriage proposal is eclipsed by a mysterious transport to a military site and a new face in the crowd.

Episode 2: A New World (July/16/2010)
As the Founders' Day festivities continue, Carter and the others must accustom themselves to the new time line and how Dr. Grant fits into it. Unfortunately, re-acclimatization needs to occur on a steep learning curve—"Tiny", one of Global Dynamic's projects, has run amok in the crowded town.

Episode 3: All the Rage (July/23/2010)
Dr. Isaac Parrish, the brilliant director of the Non-lethal Weapons Lab, is feeling a little undervalued these days. Then all his latent hostility goes viral, infecting everyone with such fury that no one is safe, especially Fargo.

Episode 4: The Story of O2 (July/30/2010)
As Eureka celebrates Space Week, Dr. Ramsey unveils his cutting edge invention that could allow colonization of Mars. Unfortunately, a slight malfunction may cause it to incinerate Eureka before the dream is realized. Equally bad is that Eureka's go-to guy for crisis intervention has just gone to Boston to visit his daughter at Harvard.

Episode 5: Crossing Over (Aug/06/2010)
Claudia Donovan visits Eureka to see if Fargo's promises of wondrous devices are true, but she finds herself in the middle of a mystery suitable for Warehouse 13 when objects begin to appear randomly around the town and GD, and it must be solved before there are deadly consequences.

Episode 6: Momstrosity (Aug/13/2010)
Carter's camping trip with Kevin becomes a little scarier than ghost stories by the camp fire when a malfunction with the AI at Global Dynamics may turn some of them deadly. Elsewhere, Henry thinks about telling Grace the truth.

Episode 7: Stoned (Aug/20/2010)
Love is in the air as Carter gets fed up with Grant's pursuit of Allison, Zoe conceals her love and Henry courts Grace. But all the emotions may have to be put on simmer when people in town start turning to stone.

Episode 8: The Ex-Files (Aug/27/2010)
Just as Carter and Allison seem to get everything right, people from their pasts appear to complicate things. Elsewhere, GD's new project perks the interest of Beverly Barlowe.

Episode 9: I'll Be Seeing You (Sep/10/2010)
After the D.E.D. device disappears, Carter, Jo, Fargo and Allison find themselves in a déjà vu situation as their investigation puts Trevor Grant right at the top of the suspect list. The proverbial noose around his neck only tightens when they discover evidence that connects him to Beverly Barlowe, and her motive will put at risk everything they have struggled to achieve.

Episode 10: O Little Town (Dec/07/2010)
Carter can't get into the Christmas spirit especially with the town surrounded by a force-field. Fargo organizes the GD holiday party, and Allison is full of holiday cheer.  

Episode 11: Liftoff (July/11/2011)
Zane pesters Jo for details she does not want to reveal. Carter problem-solves at Andy and S.A.R.A.H.'s wedding. Elsewhere, Zane's actions make him and Fargo unexpectedly airborne.

Episode 12: Reprise (July/18/2011)
Carter's duties expand to babysitting when Allison attends a medical conference, and Fargo finds his groove when a certain song is played. Meanwhile, a rocket scientist appears at Café Diem.

Episode 13: Glimpse (July/25/2011)
Jo receives a technical boost to her duties with lenses that predict security breaches. Allison's headaches won't go away so Carter plans a vacation. Fargo, meanwhile, deals with an onslaught of volunteers when he announces a space mission with room for civilians.

Episode 14: Up in the Air (Aug/01/2011)
Jack deals with a bank robbery which may relate to the sudden gravity issues besetting the citizens of Eureka. Meanwhile, Fargo's rivalry with Isaac Parrish boosted when he learns Holly and Parrish went on a date.

Episode 15: Omega Girls (Aug/08/2011)
When Zoe comes home for a visit, Jo faces an angry woman who doesn't accept her fumbling explanations about Zane. This all fades to background noise, however, when they find everyone in Eureka unconscious and must find a way to work together so they can revive the town and beat Beverly before she gets hold of valuable data.

Episode 16: Of Mites and Men (Aug/15/2011)
Global Dynamics deals with two threats—a visit from Senator Wen and robotic bugs that can consume everything—it's unclear which is the bigger one. Meanwhile, Allison refuses to acknowledge any deficit with which the implants may have left her.

Episode 17: Clash of the Titans (Aug/22/2011)
Tiny makes an explosive re-entry on the same day the Department of Defence demonstrates how little control Allison and Carter have over their personal lives by sending an auditor whose task it is to analyse their relationship. Elsewhere, Jo turns herself into a wedding planner extraordinaire for a reluctant Grace and Henry as Zane prolongs his departure, and Fargo must decide how he wants his relationship with Holly to progress. But none of it matters when it appears the gases Tiny brought back may be be the end of Eureka.

Episode 18: This One Time at Space Camp… (Aug/29/2011)
Attacks in town may scuttle the Astraeus mission in the same week the final 20 will be named. Carter and Allison appeal the auditor's recommendation, but the proposed fix, a memory-reading gadget for the candidates' final interviews, may give them more details about each other than desired.

Episode 19: One Small Step (Sep/12/2011)
When an explosion in the Astraeus lab accidentally sends Andy to Titan, the team must devise a plan to save him before it's too late.

Episode 20: One Giant Leap (Sep/19/2011)
The Astraeus participants make their farewells to their earthbound family and friends. Elsewhere, Carter and Jo investigate the person—or thing—which attacked the presidential convoy and if it is in any way related to the cosmic anomalies threatening Eureka.  

Episode 21: Do You See What I See (Dec/06/2011)
As Carter and Blake prepare a Christmas surprise for the kids, a wave of energy sweeps over Eureka, transforming everyone into animated characters.

When the ship with the Astraeus crew returns to earth, its occupants discover that four years have elapsed and time isn't the only thing that has changed.

Episode 2: The Real Thing (Apr/23/2012)
Kevin designs a tool to find the Astraeus ship, still missing after four months, but assembly of the device is halted after Andy and Carter are arrested while stealing a component for it. Meanwhile, at the Astraeus crew's location, Dr. Marten's theory about their situation may put them in danger.

Episode 3: Force Quit (Apr/30/2012)
When the Astraeus ship is finally found, the crew has vanished.

Episode 4: Friendly Fire (May/07/2012)
A rampaging fireball causes havoc everywhere; Jo and Carter race to save the town; the fireball plans to ignite every explosive source available.

Episode 5: Jack Of All Trades (May/14/2012)
Warren comes for a visit but that only adds to the stress of an already stressful time.

Episode 6: Worst Case Scenario (May/21/2012)
Henry's disaster drill has a typically Eurekan snafu.

Episode 7: Ex-Machina (Jun/04/2012)
The Department of Defense challenges Fargo's belief that Holly is alive in the matrix in a very permanent way. Elsewhere, Henry recruits Carter for a brain experiment.

Episode 8: In Too Deep (Jun/11/2012)
Carter and Allison's romantic plans run afoul of a rogue submarine, and it's up to Jo to save their lives … if she can fix the mess at Global Dynamics caused by an out-of-control prankster in time.

Episode 9: Smarter Carter (Jun/18/2012)
While under the influence of a smart drug, Carter becomes a genius like everyone else in town and starts to change the laws of physics. Unfortunately, his condition soon endangers all of Eureka, including Allison's brother who is in town just to meet his new brother-in-law.

Episode 10: The Honeymooners (Jun/25/2012)
Jack and Allison's perfect honeymoon is interrupted when sabotage is discovered in Eureka. Elsewhere, Holly faces another hurdle to remain intact.

Episode 11: Mirror, Mirror (Jul/02/2012)
The Department of Justice arrives to investigate Grace, and Henry struggles with his conscience. Holly receives a message that triggers a chain of events. The question is whether it's her actions or Fargo's malfunctioning signature achievement that are causing the scary incidents all over GD and the town.

Episode 12: Double Take (Jul/09/2012)
The doubles steadily take over GD, which means Fargo, Allison and Zane are in a fight for their lives and everyone else's as they try to avoid capture and fix the problem.

Episode 13: Just Another Day (Jul/16/2012)
In the series finale, the Department of Defense's closure of Eureka is delayed by random wormhole materializations.
