About the Show:
When 2% of the world's population abruptly disappears without explanation, the world struggles to understand just what they're supposed to do about it. The new drama series 'The Leftovers' is the story of the people who didn't make the cut.

Based on the bestselling novel by Tom Perrotta, 'The Leftovers' follows Kevin Garvey, a father of two and the chief of police in a small New York suburb, as he tries to maintain some semblance of normalcy when the notion no longer applies. The series is executive produced by 'Lost' co-creator Damon Lindelof, together with Perrotta and 'Friday Night Lights' executive producers Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey. Lindelof serves as the series showrunner.

Kevin goes to see a therapist, after he has some unsettling encounters. Meg makes a decision about her future. Tom and Christine are left in a dicey situation. Jill and Aimee are interested as to where Carrie is.

Reverend Jamison is struggling with people referring to the departed as heroes. He is faced with death threats and a diminishing atendance at his sermons and then finds out he may lose his church due ot foreclosure.

Episode 4: B.J. and the A.C. (Jul/20/2014)
Work brings surprises for Kevin with a holiday display snafu and someone detained from another police station. At home, he has to contend with some unexpected visitors. Tom and Christine also find themselves in trouble both while on the road and at the hospital.

Episode 5: Gladys (Jul/27/2014)
A shocking hate crime sees Laurie's resolve being tested. Kevin thinks over an outside offer for help to rid Mapleton of its problems.

Episode 6: Guest (Aug/03/2014)
Nora heads to a conference in New York, but finds out someone has stolen her ID badge, encountering a salesman, an author and a rogue attendee as she scours the convention as a guest.

Episode 7: Solace for Tired Feet ()
The news of the escape of his father from the psychiatric hospital reaches Kevin. Jill pushes herself by trying to break a endurance record. Tom finds out something that doesn't sit well with him.

Episode 8: Cairo (Aug/17/2014)
Kevin thinks that his grip on reality could be slipping after falling into a difficult situation with Patti. Meg ends up losing her cool as she is involved in another encounter with Matt.

Episode 9: The Garveys at Their Best (Aug/24/2014)
Whilst hunting a deer, Kevin tries to suppress his bad habits. Laurie receives news. Tom makes a connection with his past. Nora attends a job interview.

Episode 10: The Prodigal Son Returns (Sep/07/2014)
After the Memorial Day mission Mapleton moves into chaos. Kevin helps another in another town. Holy Wayne is given his final wish. Tom has to adjust to a new life while Nora mulls over a difficult decision.
