About 24 & Episode Guides

Every Second Counts.

24 Aired From November 06, 2001 – May 24, 2010 On FOX.

24 is presented in real time, with each season depicting a 24-hour period in the life of Jack Bauer, who works with the U.S. government as it fights threats on U.S. soil. Bauer is often in the field for the fictional Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) as they try to safeguard the nation from terrorist threats. The show also follows the actions of other CTU agents, government officials and terrorists associated with the plot. The first six seasons of the show were all based in Los Angeles and nearby locations - both real and fictional - in California, although occasionally other locations have been featured as well - most notably, Washington, D.C., where a significant portion of the action took place during the fourth and sixth seasons. Promotional materials for the seventh season have already established that, departing from tradition, it will be set primarily in Washington, D.C.

24 is an Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning United States television series. Broadcast by Fox Network in the USA and syndicated worldwide, the show first aired on November 6, 2001, with an initial thirteen episodes. Because of the "real-time" storytelling approach to 24, and the series' willingness to directly address the threat of terrorism, the implementation of torture as a way to acquire information and the use and misuse of government authority, the series has generated a sizeable critical reaction.

1. Midnight-1.00am

It is the day of the California Presidential Primary when the Democratic candidate for the Presidential election is being chosen with congressman David Palmer bidding to become the first black US President. Soon after midnight, Jack is summoned to his workplace at the Counter Terrorist Unit in Los Angeles where he learns that a call from Kuala Lumpur has warned of an assassination attempt being planned against Palmer. There is a possibility that a rogue element within the CTU may be involved in the murder plot. "Don't trust anybody," says Jack's boss George Mason, who Jack later shoots with a tranquiliser dart. Meanwhile, Jack's daughter Kimberly goes missing with her friend Janet York, and a plane en route to Los Angeles explodes over the Mojave desert.

2. 1.00am-2.00am
Plane bomber Mandy lands in the desert after parachuting out of the plane seconds before it exploded, having stolen the ID card of Martin Belkin, the photographer who was en route to a photoshoot with Palmer. Jack's boss Richard Walsh gets caught in a gunfight after meeting an agent with important information about Palmer. Walsh gives Jack a card containing information on the CTU agent believed to be involved in the plot to kill Palmer. Teri and Janet's father Alan try to find their daughters, but they have been abducted by Dan, who has drugged Janet and is turning nasty. Palmer heads off without his bodyguards to deal with a scandal that threatens his campaign.

3. 2.00am-3.00am
Mandy's lesbian lover Bridgit holds out for a $2 million fee from Ira Gaines before she'll hand over Belkin's ID card. Kimberly and Janet get the chance to flee from their kidnappers and get help from a psychopathic rent boy. Palmer is threatened by hoodlums in an underground car park before meeting confidant Carl Webb who says he will deal with the rumours that the senator's son Keith killed the man who raped his sister Nicole seven years earlier. Evidence points to Nina being the corrupt agent but she convinces Jack that he is wrong.

4. 3.00am-4.00am

Jack apologises to Nina for doubting her and then has to flee from the office when Mason arrives and orders a lockdown following the death of Walsh. Following a lead, Jack has a confrontation with a gunman in a deserted building, with help from police officer Jessie Hampton. Meanwhile, the interference of a traffic cop hinders Teri and York as they try to find their daughters. Janet is hit by a car, and Palmer rejects advice to call off a breakfast meeting with union leaders.

5. 4.00am-5.00am

Janet is undergoing surgery in hospital. Jack takes desperate steps to get the chance to talk to Greg Penticoff, the killer of cop Jessie Hampton, but Mason is breathing down his neck. Maureen Kingsley reveals to Palmer the evidence she has got against Keith came from the boy's therapist Dr George Ferragamo. Dan is murdered after handing over Kimberly to Gaines.

6. 5.00am-6.00am
Jack joins Teri and Alan York at the hospital where Janet is fighting for her life. As Rick buries Dan, Kim convinces him that he's in too deep. With Kimberly's life at stake, Jack is forced to discard his mobile phone and become the unwilling puppet of Ira Gaines – his every move is seen and heard. Palmer learns his family have been concealing the truth about Keith's involvement in the death of the man who raped his sister Nicole. After Alan kills Janet, he says he'll drive Teri to a location where Kimberly may be found. En route, Nina calls and asks Teri to pass a message to Jack if she sees him – the body found in the trunk of Penticoff's car has been identified. It is Alan York.

7. 6.00am-7.00am
Palmer plans to reveal Keith's secret at a public meeting. Kimberly persuades Rick to join her in an escape attempt. Jack is forced by Gaines to deceive Nina. When she sees through it, he is forced to draw a gun and march her from the building. Teri manages to overcome Alan (aka Kevin) but is stranded in the hills. Jamey betrays her when she pleads for help, while Gaines makes Jack shoot Nina. Back at base, a suspicious Tony views the security footage.

8. 7.00am-8.00am

Gaines believes Nina is dead, not realising that Jack has tricked him. As the polls open for the presidential primary, Palmer makes an appearance at a nuclear power plant where he plans to deliver his rewritten speech and where impostor Jonathan, posing as photographer Martin Belkin, is planning to make the hit. Gaines demands Jack goes to the power plant, too. Tony works out that Jamey is the mole and manages to warn Nina just in time. Together, they tell secret service that Jack has been compromised. Kimberly and Teri are reunited in Gaines's compound – and realise their lives are in serious danger.

9. 8.00am-9.00am
Palmer is whisked safely away from the power plant and Jack is detained by the Secret Service. When he can't convince them to let him go to save his wife and daughter, he has to get out by himself. After forcing waitress Lauren at gunpoint to drive him away, Jack contacts Nina and discovers Jamey was the mole (she needed $300,000 to provide for her son). Jamey is forced to cut off the security camera feed to Gaines but then refuses to help more unless she is offered immunity. Meanwhile, Sherry Palmer tries to get journalist Maureen Kingsley to sit on the story about Keith, and Teri sacrifices herself when guard Eli guard intends to rape Kimberly at Gaines' compound.

10. 9.00am-10.00am
Medics battle to save Jamey who slit her wrists on broken teacup when Nina and Tony left the room. Teri uses a mobile phone that guard Eli dropped to contact Nina. While Jack tries to contact Ted Cofell, a businessman who Jamey had e-mailed, he is replaced at CTU by the tough Alberta Green (Tamara Tunie), making life tricky for Nina, who has to hide the fact that she's helping Jack. Meanwhile, Ira Gaines is contacted by his irate boss Andre Drazen, and Palmer's backers decide to get rid of therapist Dr George Ferragamo, who revealed Keith's involvement in the death of his sister's rapist.

11. 10.00am-11.00am
Jack traps businessman Ted Cofell in his car and tries to force him to reveal where Teri and Kimberly are being held. All he finds out, though, is that Cofell is Bosnian, which makes him think he may be a target, as well as Palmer, because of a mission to Serbia he undertook several years earlier. Jack then encounters Cofell's associate Kevin Carroll, who turns out to be Alan York. Rick tries to help Teri and Kimberly but Andre Drazen tells Gaines to kill them.

12. 11.00am-noon

Jack gets Alan/Kevin to take him to Teri and Kim, who have managed to hide the body of Eli, the guard Teri shot with the gun Rick gave them. Alberta Green believes Nina and Tony are keeping information from her. Meanwhile, David Palmer tries to warn Dr Ferragamo that his life could be in danger.

13. 12.00noon-1.00pm
Andre Drazen is unhappy that he's been unable to force Jack to murder David Palmer. Jack, Teri, Kim and Rick try to escape from the compound, with Gaines and his men in hot pursuit and a rescue helicopter from the CTU due at any moment. Palmer is furious that Dr Ferragamo has been killed in an explosion at his office and then he discovers Maureen Kingsley has succumbed to pressure and dropped the story about Keith.

14. 1.00pm-2.00pm
After killing Gaines and being rescued by helicopter from the compound, Jack is arrested and faces interrogation. Meanwhile, Teri and Kim are taken to hospital for a check-up before Nina whisks them away to a safehouse. Palmer is blackmailed into doing what his supporters want or they'll frame Keith for Ferragamo's murder. He is then advised to leave LA after new security information comes to light. Andre Drazen's assassin brother Alexis arrives from Yugoslavia and falls into the arms of Elizabeth Nash, a member of Palmer's campaign team.

15. 2.00pm-3.00pm

Palmer is permitted to see Jack at the CTU HQ where they realise they are being targeted because it's the second anniversary of Operation Nightfall, a deadly mission during the Bosnian conflict that Palmer sanctioned and Jack carried out. They contact Bob Ellis, who was also involved, who is hanging out at a New Orleans bar. At the safehouse, Nina debriefs Teri and Kimberly, Teri discovers she is pregnant and Kim contacts Rick. Alexis and Andre Drazen get together to plan the next move.

16. 3.00pm-4.00pm
Jack realises fellow agent Bob Ellis has been killed in New Orleans. Elizabeth Nash confesses she has been having an affair with Alexis Drazen. There's a bitter confrontation between Keith Palmer and string-puller Carl Webb over Dr Ferragamo's death. The safehouse has been uncovered by Drazen's men. Teri and Kim escape, but their car is being followed.

17. 4.00pm-5.00pm
Elizabeth Nash undertakes a dangerous mission – trying to plant a tracking device on Alexis in a hotel room. George Mason refuses to tell Jack that Teri and Kim are in danger again. Teri has amnesia, while Kim has turned to Rick for help. Jack discovers Alexis was due to hand over cash to a mystery man.

18. 5.00pm-6.00pm
With Alexis injured, Jack goes to a shopping mall to meet Alexis's mystery contact, but the operation is jeopardised by fellow agent Teddy, who bears a grudge against Jack for shopping three colleagues who were taking bribes. Palmer is determined to use a tape of Keith's conversation with Carl to get justice, but Sherry wants to stop him. An amnesiac Teri gets help from Dr Phil Parslow, discovering that he was more than just a friend. Kim is thrown into new danger when Dan's drug-dealing brother turns up at Rick's place.

19. 6.00pm-7.00pm
Dr Parslow takes Teri home in a bid to help her overcome her amnesia – but the house is being watched. George Mason goes with Jack to investigate a lead given to them by David Palmer. It takes them to the area where Alexis's contact was being paid to cut the power. After a bitter row with his wife Sherry, David Palmer addresses a media conference where he comes clean about Keith's involvement in the death of Nicole's rapist. Dan's brother is planning to cheat some drug dealers – and Kim cannot get away.

20. 7.00pm-8.00pm
George Mason leaves Jack alone to search a wildlife reserve where the Drazens are planning to shut the power. He ends up in a secret prison, run by DeSalvo, where a new prisoner is about to arrive – Victor Drazen, the man behind the plot to kill Palmer. Tony rescues Teri and an injured Dr Parslow from the Bauer house. Palmer discovers the effects that his frank media conference has had on his poll ratings, and realises his marriage to Sherry has become a sham. Kim is caught in a drugs bust at Rick's place.

21. 8.00pm-9.00pm
Jack pleads with George Mason to provide back-up as Andre and his men attempt to free Victor Drazen (Dennis Hopper) from custody. David Palmer's popularity soars – especially with his speechwriter Patty. In a police cell, Kimberly stands up to hostility from Rick's girlfriend Mel, and Teri returns to the safety of the CTU office.

22. 9.00pm-10.00pm
Victor Drazen agrees to trade the life of Jack for that of his son Alexis, who is still seriously ill after being stabbed by Elizabeth Nash. Sherry Palmer encourages Patty to take care of her husband's needs. Kimberly is captured again after being freed from police custody.

23. 10.00pm-11.00pm
The Drazens tell Jack he must arrange for them to speak to David Palmer if he wants Kimberly to live. But Kimberly manages a dramatic escape from captivity. Patty is invited to Palmer's room but is in for a surprise. Teri tells Jack about her pregnancy. The phone Jack has been told to give to Palmer explodes and news gets out that Palmer is dead. A traitor within CTU makes a secret phone call.

24. 11.00pm-midnight
Sherry Palmer refuses to keep pretending to the media that David is dead, provoking an almighty row. Jack arrives at the harbour to trade his life for his daughter's, but Nina then tells him Kimberly is dead. However, Jack realises Nina is the mole and races back to CTU while she is taking desperate action to cover her tracks

Jack, through CTU intel, finds and captures Gredenko, who negotiates a deal with CTU. To thwart the Vice President's plans to bomb Fayed's country, Karen Hayes and Sandra Palmer awaken President Palmer from his chemically-induced coma in hopes that he will rescind the order to strike before the missile launches.

16. 9:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Upon invoking the 25th Amendment, Vice President Daniels shows he is not above perjuring himself in order to obtain the Presidency. Gredenko reluctantly helps CTU capture Fayed. President Palmer resorts to risky medical treatments to maintain consciousness.

17. 10:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
President Palmer's retaliatory strike coerces the Ambassador to cooperate with the United States. Jack thwarts Fayed's planned nuclear strike. After subduing the nuclear threat, Jack receives a call from the presumed-dead Audrey Raines.

18. 11:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.

Noah Daniels and his assistant Lisa Miller engage in a seemingly-consensual, oval-office romance. Karen Hayes is forced to choose between her job and Bill's. 20. 1:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m.

The Russians learn too quickly that the Chinese have the circuit board, leading Noah Daniels to suspect a spy. After some investigation, Daniels and Lennox plot to pass misinformation to the Russians through this unsuspecting informant. Nadia struggles with her newfound leadership at CTU when Division and Jack argue on how to handle the traumatized Audrey Raines. Cheng discovers the circuit board is damaged.

21. 2:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m.

Lisa Miller complies with Daniels' plan to pass false intel through the Russian informant. CTU sends all their field agents to locate Cheng Zhi, not knowing that Cheng has already dispatched Chinese mercenaries to attack CTU Los Angeles.

22. 3:00 a.m.-4:00 a.m.
Jack pursues Cheng, who has kidnapped Josh. Meanwhile, CTU recovers from the assault, and the White House attempts to cover its tracks to avoid war with Russia.

23. 4:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m.

Jack seeks Bill's help to retrieve Josh. Phillip's men obtain Josh without living up to their end of the bargain. The situation at the White House becomes increasingly tense as Karen Hayes is arrested for covertly helping Jack, and Milo's brother reveals to Nadia just how much Milo cared for her.

24. 5:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m.

Josh is rescued and Cheng is taken into custody as a war with Russia is averted. Chloe and Morris discover they are going to be parents. Bill and Karen are both asked to retire. 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Season seven opens with Jack Bauer before the US Senate, defending his actions throughout his career with CTU, mostly involving human rights crimes and torture of suspects. He is pulled away by FBI agents Renee Walker and Larry Moss, who need his help to quickly locate Tony Almeida, once thought dead, who appears to be masterminding a terrorist plot to override the government's CIP firewall and cause massive damage. Meanwhile, President Allison Taylor struggles with how to best deal with the genocide unfolding in the African nation of Sangala under the command of General Juma. The First Gentleman, Henry Taylor, is distracted by a desire to prove that his son's recent suicide was in fact a murder.

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Tony and his crew put their CIP override device to the test as they divert two planes in mid-air, nearly causing a collision and hundreds of casualties. With the successful test of the device, Tony's boss, Emerson, delivers it to General Juma who is planning to use it to blackmail the US. Jack follows up a lead with Renee but is convinced there is a leak inside the FBI when their suspect is shot dead by a sniper before he can give up any useful information. He is proven right when the fleeing shooter leads them to Tony's boat. Meanwhile, Taylor meets with former Sangalan president Matobo to convince him to hold Juma accountable for his crime in a proper court, not trial by angry mob. Henry continues his quest to find out the truth about his son by visiting his girlfriend, Samantha.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
With Tony in custody, Jack leads his interrogation, but is shocked when a code word Tony whispers in his ear leads to old friends and a plot much deeper than anyone in the FBI anticipated. Jack once again takes the law into his own hands when he breaks Tony out of the FBI's custody to deliver him back to the terrorist faction.
Renee asks FBI technician Janis Gold to try to uncover a possible leak in the agency, but Janis is terrified when her discoveries point to fellow analyst Sean Hillinger.
Colonel Dubaku sends a message to Taylor, insisting that the US withdraw its forces from Sangala, or risk a terrible attack on their soil.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Buchanan takes Jack to "CTU", a secret hideout where he and Chloe had been working with Tony to uncover the conspiracy within the US government. Tony had been undercover with the terrorists aiding Juma to discover the moles. Jack agrees to help get Tony back in play by joining Emerson's crew himself. Taylor is forced to meet with Matobo to inform him that she may be required to withdraw her forces from Sangala to protect American lives. Her Chief of Staff, Ethan Kanin, agrees with this decision, but Taylor is not yet convinced. Henry meets with Samantha, Roger's former girlfriend, who tells him that Roger was indeed murdered and provides him with proof.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Jack and Tony use creative means to force Matobo out of his saferoom and prepare to leave with their prisoner when Agent Walker arrives on the scene, prompting Emerson to make some quick decisions.
Agents Moss and Gold are sidetracked from their mission to find Walker when a representative from the Attorney General's office arrives to question them regarding the interrogation of Tanner.
Henry receives new information about the death of his son when he follows a lead from Samantha Roth.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
President Taylor is faced with an angry cabinet after an unpopular decision results in the loss of many American lives in a terrorist attack. Jack and Tony convince Prime Minister Matobo to go along with their plan when their undercover mission is revealed in a showdown with Emerson. Meanwhile, Henry is stuck in an unthinkable situation, paralyzed and unable to help Samantha Roth when she returns home to find Agent Gedge in her apartment.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Dubaku begins another strike against a chemical plant in Kidron, Ohio, but his plans are cut short when Jack's team arrives at his hideout. Janis helps the plant manager avoid any casualties by manually overriding the valves. Meanwhile, Ethan becomes increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of the First Gentleman and informs the president that Henry is missing. Dubaku orders Henry brought to him to use as leverage.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Jack and Bill win an audience with the President in order to secure the necessary clearance to continue their hunt for Dubaku. Dubaku counterstrikes by kidnapping Henry and using him as bait to force President Taylor to withdraw her troops from Sangala. Renee has to make a terrible choice when she holds the family of one of Dubaku's associates at gunpoint to obtain his whereabouts.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Jack and Renee track a lead to Dubaku's unsuspecting girlfriend, who, after learning of his true motives, agrees to help lead them to Dubaku before he flees the country. Meanwhile, Chloe O'Brian is brought in to the FBI to run tactical, but her progress is thwarted by a mole inside the agency. President Taylor is stunned to hear that her husband has been shot and is escorted to the hospital by Bill. She requests that her daughter be brought in, a task which Bill delegates to an old friend.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Dubaku's attempt to flee the country is cut short when his decision to take his girlfriend along proves to be his undoing, and leads to a breakthrough for Jack and Renee. The moles within the FBI are uncovered when Chloe's decryption skills are put to the test by Sean who attempts a last-ditch effort to save himself.

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Jack and Tony hatch a plan to interrogate Burnett inside the White House, but it is interrupted when Senator Mayer and the President discover his activities. Chloe is under suspicion from Janis when she helps buy Jack some time by deleting Burnett's name from Dubaku's list. Renee traces Juma's team to the docks where she makes a split-second decision that puts her life in jeopardy.

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Juma and his men take the White House by storm, killing most of the Secret Service and trapping Taylor and Jack in the saferoom. His efforts to extract her are thwarted until he is informed that the President's daughter is in the White House as well. Renee and Larry try to convince Vice President Hayworth to let them rescue the President, but Hayworth will not budge until the FBI can produce proof that she is not in imminent danger.

8:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The siege on the White House reaches an explosive end after Jack and Bill work together to try and save President Taylor. Meanwhile, Jonas Hodges makes moves to cover his own tracks, starting with Ryan Burnett.

9:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Jack seeks Senator Mayer's help to help discover the connection between Juma and the company that hired the man who killed Burnett. In an effort to track down Jack, Larry recruits Morris O'Brian in exchange for Chloe's immunity. Ethan becomes suspicious of Olivia when a reporter obtains leaked information about the internal affairs of the White House after Juma's attack.

10:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Jack and Tony manage to locate the incoming biological weapons, but must convince a civilian security guard to go along with their plan when men from Starkwood show up to claim the weapons. After gaining control of the cargo, Jack engages in a gunfight with the terrorists and risks exposure when the canister is damaged. Ethan makes a drastic decision which upsets President Taylor.

11:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Tony leads a group of FBI agents into Starkwood with the help of Hodges's aide, but finds that his intel might not be as accurate as he thought. Olivia moves her way deeper into her mother's inner circle when she is appointment as acting Chief of Staff, and chooses Aaron Pierce to be her personal bodyguard. Jack learns harsh news about his future after being examined by CDC.

12:00 AM - 1:00 AM
Hodges threatens war on the FBI if they do not retreat from his property, but quick thinking by Tony and Moss shed new light on the whereabouts of the biological weapons. Jack begins to show symptoms of his exposure, but refuses to try a possible antidote when he learns it would involve stem cells from his daughter. Olivia is blackmailed by a news reporter into giving up the breaking story unfolding at the White House.

1:00 AM - 2:00 AM
Hodges meets with President Taylor to outline his demands involving Starkwood having a seat at the highest government level, but Tony's plan to detonate Starkwood's weapons systems dramatically reverses the control of power. Renee calls in Kim Bauer to see her dad, who refuses to get her involved in a possible treatment option to stop the degeneration caused by the bio weapon. One Starkwood operative manages to sneak a canister off the premises and is pursued by Larry.

2:00 AM - 3:00 AM
As Jack's pain worsens, he attempts to uncover the mole in the organisation; Renee is stunned by an unexpected death; and, with one canister of the virus still missing, Jonas Hodges is given an ultimatum by his bosses...

3:00 AM - 4:00 AM
The nation remains vulnerable as Jonas Hodges' life lies in the balance, and his boss stands at the epicenter of the mounting terrorist threat. Meanwhile, Jack hurries to expose Tony Almeida's doublecross.

4:00 AM - 5:00 AM
Jack goes back into the field to help the FBI track down Tony and the bio-weapon canister, but his decaying condition begins to be a liability. Tony uses Jibraan's brother as leverage to force him to record an admission of guilt for the attacks on the US throughout the day. Olivia's rage at Hodges's freedom takes her down a dark path that she might not be ready for.

5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Jack and the FBI must secure the biological weapon before it is released on the subway, Olivia is forced to make the transaction on Jonas Hodges murder in order to be protected, and Kim suspects she is being followed at the airport. There is friction between Chloe and Janis at the FBI. Later, Jack is forced to help the terrorists in order to protect someone close to him.

6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Jack has no choice but to help Tony escape, but informs Renee of the nature of his betrayal. He and Tony break out of FBI custody and Jack is taken hostage: since he is infected with the bioweapon, the pathogen can be back-engineered from him. At the airport, Kim becomes suspicious about the couple she got acquainted with; while receiving her boarding pass, she receives a call from Renee warning her of the threat. Former chief-of-staff Ethan Kanin recovers the audio recording which proves Olivia's involvement in Hodges' death. Olivia attempts to destroy the recording, but Ethan pulls a bait and switch, leaving Olivia with a blank recording. Back at the airport, FBI agents are closing in to save Kim and apprehend the hired accomplices; the man escapes, but Kim follows him, radios in his location, and singlehandedly secures the laptop he used to surveil her, which she, Chloe and Renee use to pinpoint Bowden's location. Tony continues to negotiate for a higher role with a major anonymous conspirator as he reveals his plan of launching another attack. Wilson says a face to face meeting with Tony "seems a bit, premature", but reluctantly agrees. Jack manages to escape from the doctors who were working to extract the pathogen from his body.

7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
To locate Jack, Chloe tries to backtrace the communications from the operatives' laptop recovered by Kim at the airport. Meanwhile, Jack flees to a garage and attempts to escape—or, in lieu of that, immolate himself—but is recaptured by Tony. At the White House, Ethan reveals to Olivia her failure to destroy the audio recording. With Agent Pierce behind him, Ethan confronts Olivia and gives her the option of admitting the truth to her mother on her own. Alan Wilson, the mysterious man at the head of the conspiracy responsible for the terrorist attacks as well as Michelle's death, finally decides to meet Tony in person. Tony reveals to Jack that his plan all along was to get revenge for the death of his wife—and unborn son. As Wilson arrives and meets Tony and Cara, FBI agents invade the complex. Cara and Wilson flee from the scene, but Tony catches them. He kills Cara, but is prevented from killing Wilson by Jack and Renee. Wilson, in custody, denies all involvement, prompting Renee to take drastic measures to keep him from getting away with his crimes. At the White House, Olivia confesses to her mother and father. As President of the United States, President Taylor decides she can't cover up her daughter's mess, much to the dismay of her husband. Jack's rapid health deterioration weakens him and, after turning to Gohar for spiritual guidance, he accepts his fate. Kim, however, decides she cannot allow him to die, and volunteers to undergo the stem cell procedure that could save her father's life.
