Political Animals is an upcoming six-hour American miniseries created by Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark. The series is set to premiere in the United States on USA Network on July 15, 2012, and will air Sundays at 10/9c.[1][2][3] Sigourney Weaver portrays Elaine Barrish, a divorced former First Lady and the current Secretary of State.

Well not sure what to make of this series yet but it was certainly interesting to watch but seriously the reporter should of known better than tell her editor about suicide attempt but than finding out he was sleeping with her must of hurt but now she got something she didn't expect a second chance. The husband was real character i mean fair enough there were divorce but planting that idea into her head and than finding out after they had there night of passion it was his plan to go there to rescue the american  hostages.

What Margaret said to Susan about thinking she was gay was amusing and Anne making herself sick was disgusting but Elaine complimenting Susan's book was interesting considering what she said about the title and telling her boyfriend about the suicide attempt was stupid

Well those flashback certain gave us some history but it look like her son trying derail her attempt at running by telling the reporter

The negotiations in the Turkish baths was amusing and having to pimp herself out seemed a little easy to get him to agree and T.J. trying to steal a cheque from his grandmother must be a new low

Well the appeal of this show wearing thin so the question is whether she can win but it really interesting to find out what bud took the blame for the first failure

Well look like reporter got out scoop thanks to her telling her about her running for president. Again another OD for the brother so much for the sober coach

Anne revealing too much to Susan was predictable because she is great at manipulating the weak links in the family armour but almost loosing the scoop after all her had work was interesting

How embarrassing for the Chinese to loose a submarine in US waters and what a scoop in keeping Susan quiet on T.J.’s overdose, Elaine grants her unlimited access to the submarine rescue mission but who would of thought she would make out with Douglas on the plane, Anne and Margaret smoking pot was amusing

Yes but that threat release the nuclear material was risky but make out with Douglas on the plane was surprise but it never good idea drink with female journalist .

Well so much happened in this episode i really hope for a second season but what a way to leave it so glad they manage to get to her son wedding when so much was going on with president being missing but they did mention he's dead so everything up in the air ?

Crashing the wedding was amusing considering they eloped and Susan having the choice of two stories and stopping them both was nice but but what happened to air force one was tragic

Your probably right but look at show like the starter wife which was mini-series there had a second season.
