The Politician's Husband Premiered on BBC Two on April 25, 2013

The Politician's Husband is written by Paula Milne and directed by Simon Cellan-Jones and is a spin off from the award winning The Politician's Wife. Aiden and Freya Hoynes are the golden couple of British politics but he ends up resigning from cabinet followed a failed leadership bid stopped by his best friend Bruce Babbish. In the cabinet reshuffle Freya is named in the Cabinet, while Aiden returns to the back benches and a life of obscurity. Freya finds herself being forced to choose between her own career ambitions and supporting her husband in public.

The way Aiden's best friend Bruce turned after he resigned was a surprise as he looked all for it before and Freya having to choose between her own career ambitions and supporting her husband I thought would cause trouble at home, Bruce trying to manipulate Freya against her husband was a brave move but that interview didn't help

Freya must of suspected Aiden had asked the drive to keep him in the loop but telling him what he hears in the car must stay in the car was amusing and were was the life guard when Noah almost drowned

Aiden being caught in a sex scandal was tragic as it was the nanny who made a move on him and Bruce trying to use the situation to make a move on Freya was amusing as she saw right through it but the way Aiden got his revenge on Bruce was ingenious
