The Night Shift Premieres on NBC on May 27, 2014

Welcome to the night shift, where every day is a fight between the heroic efforts to save lives and the hard truths of running a hospital. At San Antonio Memorial, the men and women who work the wee hours are a special breed, particularly adrenaline junkie T.C. Callahan (Eoin Macken, "Merlin"). After a grueling tour of duty in the Middle East, T.C. is about to learn that his toughest battles will be fought right at home. He and his irreverent team of late-night docs, including Topher (Ken Leung, "Lost") and Drew (Brendan Fehr, "Roswell"), know how to let off steam with the casual prank or two, but when lives are at stake they are all business. Unfortunately, the night shift is now under new management and boss Michael Ragosa (Freddy Rodriguez, "Six Feet Under") is more interested in cutting costs than helping people. But T.C. has never met a rule he couldn't break or a person he won't stand up to. And it's clear that not even Dr. Jordan Alexander (Jill Flint, "The Good Wife"), T.C.'s ex-girlfriend and now Ragosa's second-in-command, has a chance at keeping him in line. If Ragosa wants a war, he'll get one.

Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah ("Diary of a Wimpy Kid," "Freaks and Geeks") and Pierre Morel ("Taken") serve as executive producers. "The Night Shift" is a production of Sony Pictures Television.

Nice work in recycling the victims own blood to save his life but T.C. punching Michael was stupid as he should of lost his job and it's sad to think money is more important than saving lives but Michael's idea to save the boys spinal injury was surprising and removing the morphine button from the drunk driver was great

Well it been a while since we seen hospital drama and this wasn't half bad it was ok but Michael getting payback on punch was amusing and it was nice surprise he is in fact a doctor and not administrator like most hospital have which means he provide expert advice.

Wow just when i think i seen shocking revelation from patient who would of thought a shave prank would have such a impact on everyone no wonder he didn't want to shave . I can understand why he would hide it but his wife finding out must of been a shock .

Well TC trying save guy who had his brother heart was very emotional shame he didn't survive it was a long shot

Well a sister not willing to give her sister blood because she went hog hunting with her husband was sad but drugging her and making her give blood to save her sister life was right thing to do even through it was illegal .

Ignoring a patient who was Christian scientist and performing medical procedure was risky but finding out Kate father did same thing and he died was sad.   

This is why you mess around when you at war you could get into an accident he was impressive how he managed to rescue all his soldiers while being in juried.

Well another good episode but have her boyfriend become chief of surgery is going make thing complicated but they did very well during the storm especially with all those emergency

Well his boyfriend coming home was nice but getting into an accident was sad because he going lose his leg force him to come out to everyone . It sad that other solider died .

So much for the woman with the severally sprained ankle and not wanting to get out of the ambulance and the kid with split personality was surprising as it looked like he was abused, no wonder the groom had a beard with those tattoos underneath

The lengths the little girl went to for her father to get help was impressive and drugging the one sister to save the other after she refused because she went on a hog hunt with her husband was surprising

Michael should of known better than to take somebody else medicine but him being high was amusing and Jordan ignoring the Christian scientists medical bracelet was asking for trouble, Drew was impressive when helping the soldier who had been severely wounded
