The White Queen Premieres on BBC One on June 16, 2013

The White Queen is described as a tale of love and loss, seduction and deception, betrayal and murder woven through the stories of three different yet equally driven women caught up in the ongoing conflict for the throne: Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville. The year is 1464 and England has been at war for nine years battling over who is the rightful King of England — it is a war between two sides of the same family, The House of York and The House of Lancaster, whose heraldic symbols were a white and red rose, respectively, giving the power struggle its name. The House of York’s young and handsome Edward IV (Irons) is crowned King of England with the help of the master manipulator Lord Warwick “The Kingmaker” (Frain). But when Edward falls in love and secretly marries a beautiful young widow, the commoner Elizabeth Woodville (Ferguson), Warwick’s plan for control over the throne comes crashing down around him. Meanwhile, Woodville becomes a queen with the help of her mother Jacquetta (McTeer), a self-proclaimed sorceress. Elizabeth’s most fierce adversary is the staunchly loyal Lancastrian Margaret Beaufort (Hale), a damaged and highly religious woman who would willingly lay down her life to see her young son Henry Tudor take the throne. And then there is Anne Neville (Marsay), Lord Warwick The Kingmaker’s daughter — a pawn in her father’s battle for control who finds her strength and ambition when she takes control of her destiny and marries the King’s younger brother Richard Duke of York (Aneurin Bernard).

Who would of thought Elizabeth waiting with her sons in the hope of catching King Edward IV in the hope of getting her husbands land back would lead to a secret marriage but trying to rape her first should of been a warning and getting Edward's mother to curtsy was amusing

The Lancastrians being stripped of their titles by Edward was bound to upset those loosing their titles but Warwick being overjoyed by Elizabeth giving birth to a daughter was amusing and you would of thought he would want his girls close to Elizabeth to keep an eye on her, killing Elizabeth's father and brother she is bound to want revenge on Warwick and Edward’s brother George

Warwick and George not being punished for the killing of Elizabeth's father and brother is disappointing but understandable and the witchcraft was a little predictable

Warwick giving his daughter away just to try and get Edward off the throne is a desperate measure but Mary having an ace up her sleeve when arrested by Warwick for witchcraft was amusing as the new Queen was her alloy and Elizabeth escaping with the children was lucky

Edward secretly visiting Elizabeth was risky and I thought Edward was going to have to fight Warwick until he was killed by another in-front of him and the Countess leading her own army was surprising, Anne was lucky to be alive

Elizabeth having to deal with her mother dying along with Edward cheating was terrible and Anne trying to suck up to her sister as a way to stop them from keeping her locked up was sneaky, Richard proposing to Anne was nice
