Why didn't they use the EMP on the drone and Hank has a crush on Katie who thought a robot would feel that way. I hate that type of ending

Firstly because money would gone with suitcase and it was flying populated area. Also if they had use EMP the guy would know about Car weapons. Remember he had no idea what KITT is.
