About the Show:
Narrated in the first-person voice of Jenna's blog posts, Awkward. captures the humor within the struggles and experiences everyone can relate to from their formative years. The series picks up in the aftermath of the accident as she must deal with a new not-so-fun stigma, while at the same time managing the other daily drama that comes with being a teenager. From a secret relationship with a popular guy, to being undermined by a mean girl, and parents who just don't get it-Jenna's misfortune will eventually serve as the catalyst for amazing change, but it's not without some missteps and mishaps along the way.

Season 1



Episode 1: Pilot
In the series premiere of "Awkward", Jenna Hamilton finds out that getting the boy of her dreams isn't all it's cracked up to be. When a mysterious letter leads to a misunderstanding of epic proportions, Jenna realizes that her new stigma might be her ticket to social visibility.

Episode 2: Knocker Nightmare
Jenna gets her cast off, but her shirt comes with it. An unwanted photo op gives everyone a chance to voice their opinion - on the most intimate of subjects. Will anyone come to her rescue and wake her up from this nightmare?

Episode 3: The Way We Weren't
Jenna and Matty's relationship is heating up in private, but in public she's still his secret. Will a party at Lissa's be their first PDA, or will an unexpected hot-tub visitor ruin everything?

Episode 4: The Scarlet Eye
A Homecoming bonfire gives everyone license to misbehave, and Jenna contemplates the ultimate decision: to DTR (define the relationship) with Matty or not DTR.

Episode 5: Jenna Lives
Jenna's big accident is a distant memory, and she actually starts to feel normal again until a strange stalker brings her suicide stigma back to life. Jenna even starts to wonder if her "that girl" reputation is preventing Matty from seeing her as girlfriend material or. does he already have one?

Episode 6: Queen Bee-atches
When Lacey decides that she and Jenna should rush Palos Verdes' elite mother/daughter charity organization, Jenna is forced to mingle with the mean girls who make her life miserable. Things are even more awkward when Jenna bumps into Matty and Jake and is left to wonder whether Matty knows about her kiss with Jake.

Episode 7: Over My Dead Body
It's Drunk Driving Awareness Week and everyone wants to play the coveted "Dead Stacey" role in the mock-DUI event. Unfortunately, Val casts the one person who doesn't want to be associated with a fatal accident: Jenna. As Jenna struggles with her role, Jake and Matty struggle for her attention.

Episode 8: The Adventures of Aunt Ally and the Lil' Bitch
When Lacey's BFF Ally comes to town, they decide to "help" Jenna throw a rager. The next day, a forgetful and hungover Jenna struggles to reconstruct the events of the wild night and find out who she kissed.

Episode 9: My Super Bittersweet Sixteen
Jenna's sixteenth birthday isn't very sweet as she suffers one embarrassing experience after the next. Jenna is still reeling from the aftermath of her house party and dealing with the repercussions of everyone she's alienated. After failing her driving test and getting humiliated in the school cafeteria, Jenna wonders if she can repair her relationships with Matty and Tamara.

Episode 10: No Doubt
Jenna feels like she and Matty are actually on solid ground for the first time when he asks her out on their first real date. But, when Tamara reveals her suspicion that Matty wrote Jenna's care-frontation letter, Jenna starts to question everything about her romance with Matty.

Episode 11: Fateful
Romance is in the air, and everyone is excited about the Winter Formal. Even though Jenna is longing for the big ask, she tries not to let Matty's laid-back attitude disappoint her. But, when Sadie taints Jenna's nomination for Formal Princess and Matty fails to tell Jake about their relationship, Jenna reaches her boiling point.

Episode 12: I Am Jenna Hamilton
In the Season Finale, everything comes to a head at the Winter Formal. Jenna must finally decide between Jake and Matty, Tamara's love life takes a surprising turn, Ming brings an unexpected date and the mystery behind the care-frontation letter is unveiled.

Episode 1: Resolutions
Jenna avoids dealing with the shocking season one revelation that her mom wrote the carefrontation letter by spreading some holiday cheer--- until Jake's holiday gift forces her to decide if she's ready to leave her past with Matty behind for good. Jenna is yet again confronted with a choice: who should she ring in the New Year with?

Episode 2: Sex, Lies and the Sanctuary
Finally official with Jake, Jenna is happy to flaunt her newsome twosome. That is until she hears about the hidden camera that's been filming the Sanctuary, aka Jenna & Matty's Hook Up Haven, for months. Determined not to let the tape ruin her relationship, Jenna sets off on a mission to search and destroy the evidence, enlisting Ming and some new powerful allies to recover the tape.

Episode 3: Three's a Crowd
Trying to make nice with Matty and please Jake, Jenna struggles to ignore Matty's ongoing flirtatious efforts and clingy antics. But is he really in sabotage mode, or is she upsetting the balance of their bromance?

Episode 4: Are you there God? It's me, Jenna.
Post her parents seperation, Jenna feels responsible. In an impulsive effort to absolve herself, she seeks refuge from her problems in a higher power at... Church Camp.

Episode 5: My Love is a Black Heart
Valentine's Day has arrived and dividing the school between swooning lovers and jealous haters. As Jenna prepares to spend her first V-day with a boyfriend, will jealousy rear it's ugly head for her and Tamara as they confront the possibilty that their ex's are moving on without them?

Episode 6: What Comes First: Sex or Love?
Still reeling from Jake's proclamation of love, Jenna tries to figure out if having sex with Jake will bring her some clarity about her own feelings.

Episode 7: Another One Bites the Dust
Aunt Ally is getting married and the "Lil' Bitch" is a reluctant participant in the wedding party. Now clear on her feelings for Jake, Jenna is determined to finally do the deed. But will dealing with a man from her mother's past, an out of control bridezilla, and a scheming Sadie put a damper on her plans?

Episode 8: Time After Time
A series of bad timing and revelations leave Jenna and Jake both devastated.

Episode 9: Homewrecker Hamilton
Haunted by her break-up and make-up with the boys, Jenna privately struggles with how to untangle her twisted love life until.... an unexpected text brings all her drama to the spotlight.

Episode 10: Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me
In the aftermath of releasing her blog, everyone seems to have an opinion about Jenna's life. But while everyone else is in it for the entertainment, Jake and Matty want answers.

Episode 11: Once Upon a Blog
Jenna's imagination runs wild as she fictionalizes her blog in an attempt to change her fate. Can she go back to her past to help figure out her future?

Episode 12: The Other Shoe
It's the end of another season, and Jenna has made her decision about the boys public. With a perfect boyfriend, a summer trip to Europe - it seems everything is going Jenna's way. But as soon as she stops waiting for the other shoe to drop, it does, and it leaves Jenna questioning if getting everything she wants is really what she needs.

A challenge from Mr. Hart forces Jenna to expose herself publically and in the process, she is confronted with some disturbing newfound revelations about herself .

After a late night coffee with Collin, Jenna can't stop thinking about him and what it means to have a crush as well as a boyfriend.

Episode 10: Redefining Jenna
Tensions arise between Jenna and Matty when Collin invites her to a swanky photography showcase at his house.

Episode 11: Surprise
After an impulsive make out with Collin, Jenna resolves to end her infidelity before Matty finds out.

Episode 12: And Then What Happened?
Everyone pieces together events from Jenna's birthday party to figure out if her and Matty are still together.

Episode 13: Taking Sides
Jenna and Matty's breakup forces their friends to choose sides.

Episode 14: The Bad Seed
When Jenna and Collin start to get more serious, it causes tension in her other relationships.

Episode 15: A Very Special Episode of Awkward
Sadie's idea for Val's After School Special production rubs Jenna the wrong way.

Episode 16: Less Than Hero
Jenna's family and friends decide that it's time to show her some tough love.

Episode 17: The Campaign Fail
Jenna decides that it is time to change her ways but could it be too late?

Episode 18: Old Jenna
Lacey starts her new job at Palos Hills and Jenna has a wake-up call that puts everything almost back to normal.

Episode 19: Karmic Relief
Everyone at Palos Hills starts preparing for prom, while Ming is more concerned about her future with the Asian Mafia. Jenna does a few good deeds but it might not be enough for karmic relief.

Episode 20: Who I Want To Be
After Matty asks for permission to take Bailey to prom, Jenna reevaluates who she has become and who she wants to be.
