I also agree, this new version of 90210 is just not going to work - they should have just left well enough alone in my opinion! We shall see though.

It would be intersting to see if they can get this show to shock me, the first one had very little shock factor and i was not even a teen when the first one came out.

it seems like in the promo she is contracdicting herself alot, first she siad the show is the first of its kind, and they shouldn't bring it back, then she is talking about the excitment of the new show to bring back something for the original fans sounds like she is looking for a paycheck.

The first one was the first of its kind because it gave me a pre-teen when it aired something to wonder about high school. but with these different teen shows out there i am getting bored.

charmed finished only 3 years ago 90210 finished ages ago plus it was popular unlike charmed which was limited since everyone has happy-ending

i watching first episode only but it not 90210 i remember the language they use is nothing 90210-you would use words like p****s, or even guy get a BJ in a car. they not updated it they made more worse, I'm like Sliver,kelly's sister is a pistol.

As I said on a simmilar thread, I almost fell asleep watching. Very rarely does the 1st episode of anything grab me so I watch the 2nd if they don't have me by then they never will. This show never will.

It wasa 2 episode or 2 hour premier, Since the title sequence ran again in the 2nd hour I assume it was 2 eppy.

Just checked and it was 2 eppy

They were runing out money after season 7. so they had to make a decission. I wish they didn't end it. I wanted to see them unfold the relationship of pheobe and cup.

I enjoyed watching the original Beverly Hills. I guess,  I was in that right age when that show aired. And now... I don't know if I want to reminded of all the drama that took place in my school back then

I like 90120 there are some dodgy parts but overall i think it's a great show. I didn't watch the old 90120 so maybe thats why I can warm up to this show so fast. After I watched this episode I was curios about the old show so I checked out a couple of episodes on youtube and the acting makes me cringe, sorry but I like this one better. Mostly because it's now and the other was the past.

By the way the next episode is not until the 28th of October which ultimately sucks!!!

This show's like a guilty pleasure. You don't want to watch it, but then you get sucked into it. At least, that's what happened with me. I haven't seen the original 90210, so I don't know how it compares to the old one, but I have to say, this one's pretty dramatic. I can't believe Annie's only a freshman and like Ethan and Noami are only sophomores, they look much older.

i finally managed to catch up last night with 2 brand new episodes that aired  and i still think this is watchable but not as good as the original. it's was nice that sliver let dixon take her to prom even through he was willing stay with her at her house instead. i really like sliver character she's only one who are nice on the show. mind you seeing Annie drunk was funny.

Naomi needs an after school activity. Seriously. To spend money and time on getting Jason to Beverly Hills just to see Annie miserable is quite sad. And what happened to that guy she was interested in? Instead of spending time on plotting out a plan like that, she could've spend her time on something more productive. Adrianna being pregnant is quite intresting story-line certainly better than drug story-line but she has some support. i'm glad Annie and her boyfriend didn't do the deed but Annie's parents did in back of their car

i finally got to catch up on this show today, well sliver has gone a bit crazy with dixon, the sex tape that just crazy it just seem that she gone a bit overboard.  The way she broke into matthews house and accused him of being responsible breaking her and dixon up seem a bit drastic and slightly misguided . yes i know it going revealed she's  bi-polar but still it does seem a little crazy. The search party for sliver was good episode.

ronda and ethan-i knew she  would create trouble I'm glad he didn't cheat on annie with her look i seriously underestimate him. but I'm glad he broke up with annie .

i hope Naomi know what she doing-that guy seem like trouble

I just caught up too. I'm kinda glad that she's got bipolar disorder because if they had of said she was just reacting that way because she was "in love" with Dixon, then that would have been really stupid.

Her reactions are pretty typical of someone with Manic Depression. They have extreme highs and then soul destroying lows. They generally go overboard on lots of things that you and I would find strange. At least she can get help now.

Yep, Naomi's new boy seems like he's gonna be trouble, but I guess that's why she likes him so much!

I'm glad Annie and Ethan broke up too. They annoy me as a couple.

Navinda and Adriana are a nice couple together.

Yeah I'm glad they gave something deal with because her being happy at start of this show slightly got annoying and she made a good performance which is amazing you just couldn't believe dixon reacted to the situation. what i don't understand why now?- don't people who suffer bi-polor get diagnosed early. it's not like anything dramatic happen to her.  i just don't understand how a person who seem normal few months back suddenly get this. i'm glad they gave explanation but they must be a reason behind this it can't because she feel in love.

So what did I learn in this episode? Well, clearly Dr Pepper sponsors 90210. Talk about product placement overkill. It's like in Waynes World when they do the piss-take on product placement. Funny.

Donna's back and her and David have split (I guess we know why that is, lol) - I can see Donna opening up a boutique in LA.

Ethan and Liam spark up an unlikely friendship and we get to hear some of Ethan's repressed issues, which I'm sure are going to come way up to the surface with the help of his new buddy!!

Dixon drives back to Kansas, but can't face his mother yet. It was good that he Annie with him as she was able to talk to his biological mother on his behalf. I'm sure this is a storyline that will be back soon.

Bipolar is not something you can check for when your a baby or anything its something that develops, and there is different types of it there type 1 and type 2.  and thee is small levels in between, They have in the show Silver acting out Type 2 which is the more serve kind.

Some people live on for years not knowing if they have a mental illness or they arent ready or willing to be tested for it.

Well jasper really is a great liar annie really in love with him but i'm glad Liam told friend about what was bothering him . Poor sliver what awful way to find out on half-birthday that her mother has passed away.
