I am just curious. You have discussion threads for the shows Lipstick Jungle, In Plain Sight and Swingtown.   Are these shows going to be added to the VIP list of shows?

We are very lucky that they were added to the VIP site...go check them out! Swingtown already has a quiz done by me . Sex and the City will be strolling its way to the site in a couple of weeks...sounds like fun!

Thanks Red!   I couldn't figure out why I couldn't find those shows.  I have the VIP home page bookmarked. Every time I wanted the VIP main page I just used my bookmark but never realized it would give me the old web page.  I just have to remember to reload the page when I use the bookmark.  Now I have to find your quiz.

So I just finished watching episode 1, and I found the show to be very entertaining, not at all a drama show, it's really a comedy.  I am looking forward to seeing more of it since it seems to be a new show.

I have overdosed on In Plain Sight.  It is pretty good (I am a sucker for cop type shows).  

I quite enjoyed the pun Marshall the marshall.   He plays an excellent straight man.

That is an oldie, but I did like Miami Vice but  I liked Nash Bridges better.

This was one of my favorite episodes so far (it's between this and the con wife who was cast perfectly as Missi Pyle). I didn't really get the beginning, but eventually caught on and it built up to the scenes in that abandoned store. The dialogue between Mary and Marshall in there was great, but this could have been a "To Be Continued" episode because the end came a little too quickly and when they caught Horst in two seconds after getting Marshall to the ambulance, it was too fast and kind of unrealistic. I enjoyed the scenes between Brandi and her mother...the fake jewelery look on the mother's face was priceless ... I'll watch the next episode next Friday...I'm so glad we got the show early on in its lifetime...makes it easier to follow.

Just watched the season final 2nd part and was quite pleased with season 1 of In Plain Sight.  

I must say I really feel sorry for Mary, and am sooo happy I don't have family like hers!!  For both her mother and sister to treat her the way they do AND live in her house.... when you have family like that who needs enemies!

I agree, But we all have someone like that in our family somewhere. It was unbelievable how they ganged up on her like that after she was the one who was kidnapped, tormented, almost raped and killed. All because her sister fell for some *ugly loser and she was stupid enough not to realize it. Where is her self esteem. And what about Raf? Suh a good guy. Does Mary deserve him?

the problem is that he didn't stop seeing her.  and yes i know mary said she didn't care but if he really loved her, he would have stopped.  but in saying that she isn't the easiest woman to date by what we've seen.  i'd like to see her happy and i must say the x cop who op'ed out of witsac seems like a good match for her.

good to see some more people discuss the show i have say i was happy that this show got added very fast and I'm glad i was able to watch all episode free, this was really good show last time i saw main character, she was in west wing, anyway i thought good episode loved the suitcase with towels that was so unbelievable and having the guy rip her whole brand new house apart was difficult.

do you think we will ever meet her father?

Mary seems to be getting her life in order and so is her family. This is nice to see.

Well I loved the last ep. It show that her partner does have a soft side to him and he does care for his people.

It also shows that he does know his people very well.

So I guess Mary's father was possibly in the witness protection program until he disappeared on his new family recently. So now she probably has more info to look for him but it looks like Mary is done with needing him anymore.

Now that the FBI messed up so badly on the arrest of Brandi I hope they fix up Mary's house.

This was a great ep. It goes to show that when the FBI want you they will try anything to get you.

I was also surprised that Mary's Father was probable in witness protection. This could explain why Mary got to be a Marshall.

It was also nice to see that Mary may be growing up and getting better control of her life.

Her house really needs to be repaired.

Yeah it was cool seeing her in a different show. It was also cool how the family stuck together over the relationship. It almost makes me think that the son was just using the girl to keep the father in line.

The kid breaking the law while he was on witness protection was stupid but Mary turning her back so his father could get his own justice was great and also getting the guy who shot her
