Hello,

After one year coding, our new site is coming. You will see it in September.

Now we have tested new site for months and it’s definitely much better than current version which wasn't welcomed by some members. And new site will be more easily accessed via mobile devices.

Besides the format change, new version site provides English and French subtitles for most popular TV shows and movies. 

Of coz, it also has some bugs and someplace needs improvement. All bug reports and advices are welcome.

Thanks for the update. Looking good so far. The login is not working but I suppose it will be fixed later as it's still in preview mode for now.

So far I do not like it. Maybe it has more features. I don't know yet. But I don't like the basic navigation. Plus the old site was much easier to see. Even previewing a post now is more of a pain.

As far as I know, that site is still in preview, so you can't actually sign up on it.

Well i am finally leaving viptv site, I liked the old site and the fact that i can't use my points from VIPTV site on here is a disappointment. I have never paid for this service since i been a members.

My points have transferred over just fine so I'm not bothered about the new look (Although it's not the most elegant looking on my screen).

What I do have a problem with, however, is quietly reducing the number of free episodes per season to 1 from 3. No announcement here or on the main site. Not a good look.

The black you get used to and i love that you can see which episode you have watched. We need proper explanation as features of the site, I just lost all my points -Do you need register with same username to get your points you had ?

Please can someone explain what is happening with the new site as there has been very little communication.

There seem to be multiple sites which is confusing 
- which one is the correct one now? 
- Are old ones being demised?
- How do you transfer points over?
- What is this change to the payment plan?  Is there no longer a points based service? looks like you now have to sign up to 30 days or 365 days?  The fees look very expensive

If the administrators could post a clear summary of the changes and which site we are supposed to be using that would be helpful.  I logged on today to vip.tv-video.net and it looks different.  I now seem to be an 'unpaid member' whatever that is!

Cons:

- Only one free episode per season instead of 3
- As Achillea mentioned, it seems we have to choose a plan now: either $30 a month or $300 a year!!
Could the owner please confirm we can no longer buy points as we used to? I sincerely hope it’s not the case.Thanks

@Alex4john https://www.watchseries.net/ won't work with your VIPTV username. But the usual https://vip.tv-video.net/ will

Just sent an Amazon Gift card yesterday. Went to the VIPTV-video.net site today and found a completely new look / site.  I was able to log in and I see my points have been awarded but...
  Where and how do I convert the points into the Timed Viewing service?   Is there a guide or explanation of the changes?  The FAQs button does not seem to work?

So, new site:

Chromecast support has gone. I used to be able to play from my phone to the TV using the Chromecast icon. The new site doesn't support that. Please fix this! 

Also, only 1 episode is now free?! Sneaky little change, you thought we wouldn't notice? Please announce all changes. 

How many points per episode is it now? And will we be able to continue using prepaid points? I am not signing up for a monthly plan, sorry.

They are broken. E.g. If you look at Monday links, e.g. the rookie episode, the link is bad.

I've been using vip.tv-video.net (Same account I've had for years) so that might be the reason I haven't had issues.

That's what I have bookmarked too, but when I copy & paste it, it shows the https. Not sure why there's a difference, but there does seem to be one with regard to things working correctly.

apparently I'm all out of points.... I really hope this $30 for 30 days business is not correct. If it is, I'm going to have to saw good bye. I've really enjoyed this site for more than 10 years, but that's an exorbitant fee that I will not pay in addition to my other viewing platforms. Thank you for the years of service.

I had 440 points on vip.  When I click the blue link on this page for "Buy F$", it shows I have 440 points.  I logged into the new site and now I have 115 points.  Where did my points go?  Also, it seems the points aren't any good anymore because you now have to pay a monthly fee, points seem meaningless on the site because they don't seem to allow you to watch anything.  Am I missing something??  I'm not paying $30 a month for this service, that's absurd. I don't watch that much television.  I want my use as I go option back!

That is simply ridiculous. I have a hard time believing that such a price change would take place without the Admin informing the board. I believe it is a bug that needs to be fixed like Bala said. Hopefully, getting a refund will be just as easy as it was to lose all those points.

Thanks. I was joking when I talked of a steep price increase ;) Obviously, it is a bug, as the site still advertises 3 points per episode. I have contacted the owner and I trust it will be fixed shortly and points will be reimbursed as well. I see @kitty862003 has had the same issue.

Found another bug. For movies, the 5 points are deducted as soon as we open the page, so before pressing play. I just lost 10 points checking out 2 movies. Once again, not playing them, just opening the page to get some details. Please fix. Thanks

Viewing History doesn't show the episode you've watched any more - it just shows the Season. This makes it difficult to keep track of which episode(s) you've already watched. Could we have it back to how it used to work so that it shows the episode and season watched, please? Also, if I click on the Season that is listed in Viewing History (whilst logged in, obviously) for some reason a message appears stating "Please Login In!" - with just an OK button. Clicking on the OK button (eventually) takes you to a login page, but shows in the top right hand corner your login name (i.e. you're already logged in). Very strange!!

At first that was one of annoyance until - when you click on the season in your viewing history a check mark there is a beside the last episode watched.

Having same problems as others:
  • Losing points due to pausing TV shows (actually I don't even pause intentionally, very often I need to reload the page because it stops streaming due to connection or whatever) 
  • Lost points just for opening movie description pages to read what they were about
  • No Chromecast anymore 
  • Getting logged out when viewing on another device. Many (most?) of us view on both our phone and computer. The days of single-device services are long gone. 
  • On the positive side, two really nice changes are the checkmark to keep track of what you've watched, and the resume playback feature. Thanks for that.

Generally, I like the new look and keeping the point system is important to me. I like the notice area and that I can easily view what I have watched. What I don't like is eliminating the 5-minute preview for movies and changing the first three episodes for free and reducing that number to only one episode. . If I remember correctly, the 3 free came about when you started charging 3 points per show from 2 points. It seemed like a good trade off at the time but not so much now that you've taken 2 free episodes away, Please change that free episodes back to the first three. Keep your long-term, loyal customer base happy.  Thank the coders for all their hard work but have them restore these few gems that were taken away from us.

Since the last change to the format, there's no longer a 5 minute free preview of movies.  I think that's a bad decision: I am not willing to waste 5 points on a movie I've never heard of, but I was often interested enough to give it 5 minutes of my time, and watched many movies ONLY because of the free preview. I'm sure you will notice a lot of people spending a lot less points on movies now that there is no preview option. You should bring back the free 5 minute movie preview.

- The 5-min free preview is back on. Although it looks like it's charging 5 points in the Viewing history, those 5 points are not actually deducted.
- It looks like the bug that was deducting 5 points upon loading the movie page (before hitting Play) has been fixed.

Edit: Actually, it seems all of the above only applies to desktops/laptops. On mobiles, the movie bug is still here (just lost 10 points) and the free 5-min preview is nowhere to be seen.

its not working on waterfox, microsoft edge or chrome for me with windows 10 laptop or on my samsung s20 phone. the login button top right isnt there, if i click on a episode pic it takes me to the login screen but then just takes me back to home screen

Have you tried accessing the site through a VPN or proxy server? I used the Hola add-on for Chrome to check if it worked from a different country - so I tested Canada & the US. In the past, sometimes it's someone's internet provider that has blocked the site. Since, thus far, only you and banlron have posted about the issue, I don't think it's affecting many others, since those kind of problems tend to be one of the things that causes people to post in the forum.

Have you tried accessing the site threw a VPN? That seems to have been helpful to others not in North America.
