Seems that shows cannot play on iPads anymore. I checked on a few devices and only iPhones and PC work. Any ideas?

Can you post which iPad you have? If it's older, that could be the reason. My iPod 4th gen still works with the site, but as of today, it doesn't work on my Android phone, which is older - Jellybean 4.2.2. It also still works on my PS3, which some sites no longer do because it isn't providing anymore Flash updates. We weren't given any notice of specific updates being done to the site, but Admin did mention a while back that there would be some.

I have the same problem. I have an iPad Air and the site no longer plays the videos, but still charges me.

What version of iOS are you all running? It may be that you need to bring it up to date. Also, as an interim solution (until we hear back from admin) you could try watching via the puffin browser app. You can watch the normal VIP site on an iPad via this browser. See the details of this on the last point here: How do I watch VIP on my Tablet, iPad, PS3, Smart TV, etc?

PS4

The only solution to viewing viptv on the PS4, is using the mobile version.

But now that doesn't work either. <img src=">

It just shows the "banner pics" of the show, but I fear I might have lost points clicking,
which makes no sense at all because it is "only" pics not the player as it was before.

Unfortunately we have to wait for the admin team to tell us what changes were made. Did you download the puffin browser on your iPad? This works on apple devices too. Give it a try, as a workaround.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do at the moment. Barb has asked the admin team to advise us of what technical changes were made. We weren't advised that anything was about to change. We'll have to wait for their update. You can request your points back by sending the details to LBJedward here: Lost pts? Send a PM to lbjedward and got lost pts back

I held off updating to iOS 9 as I heard there are lots of issues with it. Are you able to watch HTML5 videos on other sites?
Author: fraenzi24    Time: 9-18-2015 22:33

I used to stream m.viptv.net videos with my iphone onto my apple tv.

after updating my iphone to IOS 9.01 is does not work anymore.

I used to be able to start the video in safari on my phone and then airplay to apple TV.
now I can still watch the video on my phone, but when I try doing the airplay (or airplay with screen sync) my TV just shows the loading circle thing, but nothing ever happens.

any ideas whats wrong?

Have you updated your Apple TV to the latest update?
Author: Cynthia793    Time: 10-6-2015 14:01     Subject: iPad 2

I can view programmes on my iPad but whereas in the past I used to swipe my 2 fingers open to expand the picture (which I watch on TV via an apple cable) now there is a blue box around the picture and an icon to press to expand the picture. Once you press this, you are only given approx 60% of the picture. Any ideas what the problem is? I have updated to ios 9 recently.

I haven't seen any other posts about this issue. I don't have access to an iPad, so can't check it for myself. I'll ask one of the other mods to check into it.

I did a little research on it as I was surprised to see Apple included the iPad 2 in their iOS 9 update. It being the older of the iPads and they didn't include the iPhone 4. Anyway, seems there is an issue for making the video bigger on the iPad 2 with this upgrade, actually seems to be all iPads at the moment, from what I'm reading. No solution yet. You'll have to wait for apple to send out an new update that will fix this.

One person mentioned using the Zoom function in Settings to make the screen bigger. It's not perfect, but it's a workaround!

Thanks for you help with this.  I'll contact Apple directly and, in the meantime, try the zoom button in Settings as advised.
