Common follows Johnjo O'Shea who after giving his friends a lift to a pizza parlour, found himself charged with murder. Johnjo isn't involved directly in the crimes, but he is charged and trialled under the argument of Joint Enterprise Law.
Thomas's mother being told by the police her son was in a bit of an accident was tragic as they knew he was dead when they told her and Johnjo keeping quiet while the arrest Patrick was understandable as it was him using his car but going to the police without letting anyone know was a bad idea as he should of had legal advice, talking about what coffin and how much while he is still on the table was very insensitive and finding out Kieran stabbed the boy just for looking at him was unbelievable and getting 5 1/2 years for being the getaway driver was sad as he had no idea someone was going to get killed but Kieran getting 24 years was deserved
