I recently bought a Nexus 7 and I was having the same issue as flyfisher and it would also open in Mobile version like you, sometimes. Anyway, I downloaded Dolphin Browser and Dolphin Jet Pack. I changed the settings to recognise desktop mode and not android ("user mode" in Dolphin settings is where you change) and now anytime I open VIPTV it goes straight to the desktop site and not the mobile. Have you heard of mobdro? It has sky sports (free) along with movies, loads of channels etc. You can download it on www.mobdro.com directly.
