Outlander Premieres on Starz Summer, 2014
Outlander spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure. It follows Claire, a married WWII combat nurse, who mistakenly steps back in time to year 1743 where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world of adventure that sends her on the run and threatens her life. When Claire is forced to marry Jamie, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, it ignites a passionate affair that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

Thank you.
I'm thoroughly looking forward to this although I didn't care for the book so much. Hoping the liberties they take will be more rewarding for me. Author: codebreaker Time: 6-7-2014 23:40
Claire's mysterious palm reading should of been a clue with a fork in her love line but looking for the car after fainting when she touched the stone was amusing as you knew what was coming and thinking she stumbled on to a film set was logical but her feeling about going back in time all low illogical was obviously right and her nursing skills came in useful Author: bala Time: 8-3-2014 07:19 Subject: Reply 9#9 codebreaker's post
My first impression of this at start it was boring because narrating took a little time to get used to because at first i found it quite annoying and i was close stop watching after 20 minutes in but i decided finish off the episode and it did get better.
Claire's situation is unqiue because she know what's going happen those men were lucky they found her Author: codebreaker Time: 8-3-2014 09:19 Subject: Reply 10#10 bala's post
At first this reminded me of Goodnight Sweetheart with Gary Sparrow going back in time and also he knew what was going to happen in the future Author: codebreaker Time: 8-16-2014 08:17
Claire thinking she would free to go after few days was rather naive but guess she has no choice how she will ever get back now that she kind of a prisoner being a healer . Author: codebreaker Time: 8-23-2014 23:39
I had feeling Claire would be good at being a healer but cure someone that was poisoned when everyone thought he was cursed meant she just became too valuable to leave but that folk tale brighten up her spirit.
The boy getting nailed to pile was one hell of punishment but Claire providing a distraction to help boy out was great. Author: codebreaker Time: 8-26-2014 08:37

Clare planning was good using kids as cover to search the surroundings but i knew something was bound go wrong Author: codebreaker Time: 9-7-2014 23:07
Claire finding out that fight was about her was amusing consider she was having a go at them but what a good cliffhanger i think she will want to stay with them Author: codebreaker Time: 9-14-2014 03:38
Claire situation just got more intresting by the end of the episode she going get married to him to prevent the English from taking her prisoner but since she's already married in other time line she technically a bigamist ?. Being tortured for trying to protect the woman from the red coats was barbaric and Claire's advance knowledge of first-aid is going to arouse suspicions Author: codebreaker Time: 9-15-2014 04:48 Subject: Reply 16#16 bala's post
I'm glad Clare telling Mrs MacKenzie sees from the future was a daydream as there is no way anyone would believe her and you can't blame her for using her medical skills to try and escape castle, Clare teasing Jamie about kissing Laoghaire was amusing and Claire providing the distraction while Mackenzie pulled the nail out was quick thinking Author: codebreaker Time: 9-15-2014 06:18 Subject: Reply 19#19 bala's post
Clare using kids as a way to search for an escape route was smart thinking especially as she could escape during the Castle's Gathering ceremony but trust her to run into the drunk men which made thing awkward, one of the the men being attacked by a pig was karma for chasing them but that was a close call for Clare trying to get to him Author: codebreaker Time: 9-15-2014 06:59 Subject: Reply 21#21 bala's post
Clare needs to learn Gaelic on the quite so she can be aware of what the guys are talking about and subtitles for the rest of use who don't understand it ether Author: codebreaker Time: 9-15-2014 08:52 Subject: Reply 23#23 bala's post
Claire saying she's with MacKenzies of her own free will was understandable as she knows they will all die in three years unless she can change history and Claire finding herself alone with Randall was bound to be awkward after their first meeting but punching her like that was diabolical and getting married was a great way to get Randall off her back Author: codebreaker Time: 9-21-2014 02:53
This was episode women must love but as a guy it was rather boring except what happened through flashback that what really saved the episode for me because rather than show whole wedding from start to finish they split it up evenly so the story could move forward and ending was perfect she had almost forgotten she was already married until she saw both wedding ring on her finger. Author: codebreaker Time: 9-24-2014 04:46 Subject: Reply 30#30 bala's post
The guys barging in hoping to catch them consummating the marriage was amusing and getting to know each other first was nice rather than just jumping in bed together but enjoying it knowing she is already married was a surprise Author: codebreaker Time: 9-28-2014 22:23
What did Frank expect on his search for his missing wife but the police thinking she has left him for another man was amusing as that's what's happened in the other time-line and Claire killing the solider was lucky as he was about to rape her Author: bala Time: 2-4-2015 10:22 Subject: Outlander | 4 Droughtlander: A Look Ahead | STARZ
nice! Author: bala Time: 4-5-2015 05:54 Subject: 1x09 The Reckoning
Nice returning episode but Jamie narrating the episode was nice change because we got see how he saw the situation from his perspective but trying teach her a lesson was amusing as she couldn't believe he would discipline her in that manner but he had to as that was the culture back than and trying win back her trust was challenging but that what i call a make-up Author: bala Time: 4-12-2015 12:06 Subject: 1x10 By the Pricking of My Thumbs
What a way to get rid of claire out of Jamie's life by Jame's ex girlfriend Author: ckaiser1998 Time: 4-12-2015 23:14 Subject: 1 x 10 what happened to eps it was not Outlanders
has the show been corrected I went to watch it and it was showing Atlantic and not Outlanders OMG I so need my Outlanders Author: bala Time: 4-19-2015 04:56 Subject: 1x11 The Devil's Mark
Claire being accused as a witch was tough as she couldn't prove she wasn't but having Jamie rescue her was impressive but telling him who she was and what she's been through was nice and the fact that she decided to stay was a surprise Author: codebreaker Time: 4-21-2015 14:04
This is Jamie hometown and visiting his sister didn't go well at the start thinking she had kept Rendal child but it turned out to be her husband's was nice. Author: bala Time: 5-17-2015 00:43 Subject: 1x13 The Watch
That was close call but finding out the watch were helping protect the land while Jamie was away was interesting but so much for it being peaceful as they roped Jamie into going with them . It was an ambush Author: bala Time: 5-17-2015 00:44 Subject: 1x14 The Search
That's what i call a long search but what a way to find out he's in Wentworth prison going to executed Author: bala Time: 5-17-2015 00:47 Subject: 1x15 Wentworth Prison
I don't know what's worse, being save from execution or being Rendall sex toy . That was unbearable to watch but very well acted by both men . Claire really needs to rescue him before Jamie loses his will to leave Author: bala Time: 5-31-2015 03:08 Subject: 1x16 To Ransom a Man's Soul
Just when you thought you seen worst there's more Randall broke Jamie . It was unbearable and look on his face at start of the episode was enough to know something really bad happened . The season finale was ok but seriously Claire pregnant that was so stupid because they spend full pervious episode explaining she can't get pregnant and suddenly she's pregnant makes no sense if this happen few seasons on i would understood but so not so close to the season1 . Author: codebreaker Time: 4-12-2016 10:35 Subject: 1x09 The Reckoning
Jamie and the Highlanders did a great job in rescuing Claire especially allowing Randall to take his gun and I think he will regret not killing him for that attempted rape but trying to punish her was amusing Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 10:08 Subject: 1x10 By the Pricking of My Thumbs
Laoghaire was bound to try and cause trouble after using which craft in their bedroom and Jamie not believing Claire about the Duke of Sandringham was understandable as she couldn't back up her story Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 10:42 Subject: 1x11 The Devil's Mark
Claire being associated with Geillis and ended up on trial for witchcraft was awkward as she had nobody on her side and Jamie was lucky he managed to rescue Claire as that trial was fixed from the start but Geillis being from the future was surprising and Jamie giving her the chance to go home was nice Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 11:22 Subject: 1x12 Lallybroch
Talk about Jamie getting the wrong idea about his sister and her children but her laughing in Randall's face was amusing and Randall being gay was surprising considering the women he has tried to rape Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 12:21 Subject: 1x13 The Watch
Jamie having to pretend to be Jenny's cousin rather than her brother was understandable with him being a wanted man and being blackmailed only made thing worse but Horrocks got what he deserved, Jamie and Ian joining The Watch with Jenny about to give birth was surprising Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 12:54 Subject: 1x14 The Search
Claire and Jenny going to try and rescue Jamie from his redcoat was surprising considering Jenny's difficult birth but the gypsies using their song only made things harder Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 13:26 Subject: 1x15 Wentworth Prison
Randall's timing to stop Jamie from hanging was unbelievable but you knew it would have consequence and giving into Randall's advances was understandable as being alive one of them still has the chance to kill him another day Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 14:05 Subject: 1x16 To Ransom a Man's Soul
The stampede was a brilliant plan to free Jamie and what Randall did I was hoping he died during the stampede but heading to France will make it harder to return to her own time, Claire being pregnant must mean her husband on her time line had the problem Author: codebreaker Time: 4-13-2016 14:06
Nice behind the scene look at the new season Author: codebreaker Time: 4-14-2016 02:54 Subject: 2x01 Through a Glass Darkly
Claire being back in the 1940's was a surprising start to the season as she was pregnant and heading to France and I was right about Frank being infertile and stepping back into 1745 as she got off the plane was nice but I would of liked to of seen it from Frank's side Author: codebreaker Time: 4-14-2016 03:03
Jamie struggling over the traumas of his past was understandable but his meeting with Prince Charles in a brothel was disturbing and Claire's friend being waxed was amusing, Randall still being alive was a surprise Author: bala Time: 4-17-2016 11:33 Subject: Reply 58#58 codebreaker's post
We knew it would be difficult and Clare's friends are always interesting
Her waxing was interesting but clare also waxing and jamie's reaction was amusing Author: codebreaker Time: 4-17-2016 11:53 Subject: Reply 59#59 bala's post
Her slapping the guy every time he waxed her legs was funny but the look on the girls faces when he got to her privates was priceless and obviously Claire liked what she seen Author: bala Time: 4-17-2016 12:07 Subject: Reply 60#60 codebreaker's post
I am sure he got used to it consider he didn't mind get slapped but did we really need to see the king unable to take dump with an audience ? . How can you respect a king like that ? Author: codebreaker Time: 4-23-2016 09:22
What a shame Mary had no idea about sex but not wanting to marry a French man because of it was amusing and Claire making use of her healing skills made sense but tasting urine while pregnant was going too far, Jamie hiring a young pickpocket was a devious move but not telling him about Randall is going to have repercussions Author: codebreaker Time: 4-26-2016 02:36
I thought he laced Claire's drink with poison after the way he stared while she was having trouble breathing and Claire's revelation that Randall is alive was great but Jamie's reaction was surprising, the rapist having a birth mark on his hand is bound to pay for what he did Author: codebreaker Time: 5-5-2016 11:46
Jack Randall coming to France and finding out both Claire and Jamie were there was a surprise but Jamie challenging him to duel and Claire begging him not to kill him because of Frank was just awful for him . Author: codebreaker Time: 5-11-2016 09:56 Subject: Reply 67#67 bala's post
Claire sabotaging any chance of Mary and Alex getting together was understandable with Frank's existence being in danger and Jamie was bound to want revenge on Black Jack but the King laughing at him was amusing and Claire making sure Jack survives long enough for Frank's ancestor to be born was tough Author: codebreaker Time: 5-11-2016 09:58
Using Claire's medical knowledge to devise a scheme to stop the wine deal was sneaky but Jamie being the Guinea-pig was amusing and I'm guessing Black Jack did something to the kid but stabbing him in the privates was poetic justice Author: codebreaker Time: 5-16-2016 10:34
Yes but beg the question about frank if he got damaged Frank wouldn't be born ? Author: codebreaker Time: 5-21-2016 13:01 Subject: 2x07 Faith
I'm not surprised with the amount of blood on the table Claire lost the baby but her vision of having a daughter was bound to think otherwise and I suspected Black Jack tried to do something to the kid for stealing, Claire asking the King to release Jamie was understandable and at leased she knew what he would want in return Author: bala Time: 5-22-2016 01:07 Subject: Reply 73#73 codebreaker's post
True but it mixed episodes with a lot of emotions Author: codebreaker Time: 5-28-2016 23:09
Jamie using Claire knowledge to try and put his grandfather of guard was crafty but Lord Lovat wasn't going to an easy target and Claire giving Laoghaire a second chance was surprising Author: bala Time: 6-5-2016 00:26 Subject: 2x09 Je Suis Prest
This was ok episode but what Claire did to make the boy confess was very amusing Author: codebreaker Time: 6-5-2016 05:12
They have their work cut out trying to train them as soldiers when they don't know their left from right and Claire telling Dougal MacKenzie what to do with his offer was awesome but Claire pretending to be attacked to get the boy to talk was impressive Author: codebreaker Time: 6-12-2016 06:39
Dougal was lucky the British were lousy shots and I cant believe the men allowed Fergus to join them on the battle field and glad he wasn't hurt but tragic for the others Author: codebreaker Time: 6-20-2016 05:14
It's a good job Claire is English as she was able to stop the red coats attack on the church and who was behind the rape was surprising but at leased they paid with their lives Author: bala Time: 6-20-2016 10:19 Subject: Reply 83#83 codebreaker's post
I am glad we found out Author: codebreaker Time: 6-23-2016 08:51
You can understand why Claire was reluctant to comforts the ailing Alex Randall and I'm not sure I would trust what Black Jack said when Claire wanting something in return but Alex's outrageous plan to save his child's mother, Mary was surprising but lets hope Claire is right about when he dies Author: bala Time: 6-29-2016 12:16 Subject: Reply 86#86 codebreaker's post
Claire learnt an important lesson in this episode just because you know the future doesn't mean you know what actually happened. Author: codebreaker Time: 7-9-2016 20:37
A lot of people are unhappy about actress who play Birana, they felt she was bad in her role. I really enjoyed this extended episode it was interesting go back and forth between past and present . Author: codebreaker Time: 7-10-2016 09:39 Subject: Reply 89#89 bala's post
What a trip down memory lane with the kids watching The Avengers as that was a great show back in the day and Roger showing Brianna the sights was nice as Claire was able to have her own trip down memory lane but what Brianna found out did make things awkward as Claire's explanation was going to be unbelievable but great end to the season Author: bala Time: 7-10-2016 09:51 Subject: Reply 90#90 codebreaker's post
I was wondering whether that was a movie or tv show but i have say it was interesting way to end the season as we don't know whether she can go back through the stones?. Author: codebreaker Time: 7-10-2016 09:59 Subject: Reply 91#91 bala's post
I hope she does and I hope Brianna follows her as it might be her only chance to see her real father Author: bala Time: 7-10-2016 10:38 Subject: Reply 92#92 codebreaker's post
i actually thought it would be Brianna who would of gone through the stone because why else would they introduce her into the show ? Author: codebreaker Time: 7-10-2016 10:44 Subject: Reply 93#93 bala's post
I think without Claire being able to introduce her it would be like her mother going through the first time
