The Musketeers Premieres on BBC One on January 19, 2014

Set on the streets of 17th-century Paris where law and order is more an idea than reality, the series follows Musketeers Athos, Aramis and Porthos who are far more than King Louis XIII’s personal bodyguards, but ultimately stand resolutely for social justice: for honour, for valour, for love and for the thrill of it

Well good start to the series with Athos getting a frame job and other musketeers trying prove his innocence   .

Aramis almost getting caught sleeping with the Cardinal's wife and then asking him to jump to prove his love for her was amusing but killing her was tragic, the fake Athos telling the coach driver he spared his life should of been a red flag that he was lying considering they killed all the others but running like a coward was priceless

D'Artagnan getting arrested to go undercover was risky as not everyone trusted him but the so called conjugal visit was amusing and so close to getting away with the crown jewels

Yes i like the fact it was a set up but what a way to prove himself on his first day

I cant believe they trusted Bonnaire to spent time with his wife after the way they were fighting but outsmarting him when he escaped was amusing but Maria paying with her life trying to free him was tragic, Athos being forced to confront his past when his wife returned after her ordered her hanging was surprising

Aramis protecting Marsac after the attempted assassination was risky but with the captain refusing to answer their questions it's starting to look like there was merit to his story but dying trying to get revenge was predictable

Not a good day for Porthos waking up with the dead body next to him but being kidnapped looked like a blessing as he was sentenced to death and who would of thought the boy was killed by his father

Willing to kill so they could kidnap the baby was terrible but at leased the kidnapper was followed by a Musketeer and the baby having Royal blood was a little obvious as you wouldn't go that far for any baby but helping the mother escape with her baby was great as even she thought he died in the water

What a tragedy for Therese trying to give a note to the Queen but Ninon snubbing the King's advances was amusing and the Cardinal being poisoned was karma for trying to have her killed for being a witch

The Musketeers being blamed for the Captain's death was barbaric as he was too pig ignorant to listen to their warning about the dangerous prisoner and D'Artagnan wiping the smile on the Cardinal's face was priceless as he killed the prisoner the Cardinal had chose to fight for him

The Musketeers figuring out the Cardinal was behind the attempted assassination of the Queen was great and what a shame one of the nuns died because the took refuge in the convent

The Cardinal is pushing his luck trying to undermined the King and D'Artagnan getting shot by Athos was a surprise but it being at trap for Milady was impressive and the funeral was amusing but letting Milady go after all her killings was unbelievable, Constance leaving D'Artagnan was sad and the Queen being pregnant was a strange coincidence
