Martini Mondays and tequila Tuesdays take a back seat to new step-motherhood when former party girl Stephanie (Tia Mowry-Hardrict) marries Charlie (Michael Boatman), an older dad with three kids. Becoming an instant mom doesn't come with a rulebook, but it does come with a dose of humor as Stephanie traverses the fine line between being a friend and being a responsible parent.

Stephanie thinking that weekend step mother would be great because kids go back to their mothers place during weekdays but she didn't count on their mother having an accident leading her to become regular step-mother. She clearly need some parenting tips because she doesn't take being a parent seriously.

So much for Stephanie's girls night out but as the kids mother was looking after their grandmother after her fall but as a stepmother she seems to get on well with the children at first

Forcing the children to learn to play an instrument against their will was bound to backfire but James picking a harp thinking she couldn't find one was amusing and Gabrielle faking her musical skills was priceless

Stephanie trying to help out Arron at school was amusing but you just knew she would make things worse and Maggie going overboard when she volunteered to coach Gabby for cheer-leading was cruel

Charlie not wanting Gabby to date until she's 16 was understandable but using Stephanie advice on how to get around the rule was a bad idea

Stephanie taking Gabby to the audition for a rock band was nice but ending up getting the gig herself was a surprise and I can't believe she took the gig, James and Aaron sucking up to their grandmother just for money was amusing

James calling Stephanie a babe after getting bad pick-up lines from his dad was amusing and you just knew joining the parent's dance committee at James school was a bad idea as she's not a parent and the other mom's were vindictive

Getting snowed in on their vacation with the taxi driver was amusing and what was Charlie thinking carrying all the cases upstairs in one go

Stephanie didn't have a lot of choice to leave Gabby in charge of babysitting after they sabotaged the other sitter but making them think it went well for the money was amusing and the old couples confusion was priceless

Charlie inviting his boss over was a bad idea but the way Stephanie stood up to her was great and Aaron taking the energy drink was amusing but Maggie should of known better

You can understand why Stephanie was upset after finding out that Charlie used same the vows from his first wedding as his wedding to her but the fact his first wife did every anniversary what Stephanie wanted to do was amusing

Aaron wining the tickets to a sold-out Cody Simpson concert was surprising as Gabby and James both submit their own videos but the family fighting over who will go with him was amusing as Cody accidentally got stuck in Gabby's chair

Stephanie cancelling the maid service was understandable but the kids refusing to do chores was amusing and Stephanie not getting the credit for the compromise was priceless

Aaron bringing his class rabbit home to take care of it for the weekend was nothing unusual until they thought the rabbit died when a balloon burst but the teacher replacing it while Stephanie told the truth just made things confusing

Stephanie trying to living up to her old friends reputation was amusing especially as Charlie's was on a business trip and Aaron had a friend over

Stephanie hiring an old boyfriend to install a new sound system for Charlie on their anniversary was nice but her being worried Charlie might find out from the kids was amusing
