John saving the girl only for her to run away made you think it might be a dream as he thought he recognised her and the beach rescue was impressive especially stabilising her neck but loosing one of their own and the injuries Alfonso got saving Colby was tragic

Well it was good first episode but i really didn't like music when they were getting ready i felt that bit was unnecessary

Well this was average episode but missing baby in car first time was surprising but find it the second time was good but i am glad he felt bad about it. The funeral was ok and why is that lifeguard hanging around i know she will join the team but right now she isn't a member so i don't quite get how she able hang around at SAF3 base.

well I was wondering the same thing. The only thing I can figure is that she needed to be in the debrief because she was at the scene, but that would be strange too as she wasn't part of the team, so technically doesn't need to be debriefed.
I liked that we got to see how they were all dealing with it and therefore I think they just needed her around for another episode before letting her join.

After Charley stabilised the girls neck in the first episode and one of them suggested she join the team I'm not surprised she was around to see how they operate and missing the baby was understandable as it looked like a doll
Author: bala    Time: 10-6-2013 06:55     Subject: 1x03 Texas in a Bottle

Texas really needs to learn to be a team player and to panic during rescue thinking his team wouldn't rescue him almost cost him his life . I can't believe how i didn't notice bad acting in this series .
Author: kellemanske    Time: 10-6-2013 15:03     Subject: Reply 13#13 bala's post

I agree about the bad acting, it wasn't that obvious in the previous episodes, but it really annoyed me in this one. Also I just plain didn't like the episode. It was all so cliché

Shellie acting while being rescued was terrible and what Texas did shows he ls still lacking maturity
Author: bala    Time: 10-13-2013 05:15     Subject: Under Pressure

Seriously why do they keep flashback to first episode we get it was sad but you need move on and get better and what was the point of this episode except introduce another member of the team?.

There weren't any decent rescues.

Why was that female lifeguard on her own she needs help other surfer to rescue the guy-where are rest of lifeguards ?. Unless i am mistaken a beach like that usually has 3-4 lifeguards on duty or at least 2.

This is becoming quite frustrating show with lack of interest, bad acting and hardly any decent story lines.

As it was Charley's first rescue it was impressive and as she kept her calm being on her own and used the surfer to help bring him in and the boy to call 911 was smart thinking, who would of thought the paramedics were so dysfunctional at the start of their training and using a blow touch to cut his leg off was a surprise

Alfonso's face wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and Lily forcing him to see the girl he saved was great, you just knew with them all being reassigned it would be short lived
Author: bala    Time: 10-20-2013 08:13     Subject: Reply 18#18 codebreaker's post

This was good episode with Alfonso getting to see his face but i agree it wasn't bad as we were expecting. The thing that annoyed me was female cast member in bikini in most scenes was getting annoying i didn't mind if it was one or two times but you keep on putting them in revealing suits was annoying and for no purpose .
Author: codebreaker    Time: 10-28-2013 13:22     Subject: 1x06 I Can’t Pretend

Alfonso's determination is impressive and so much for taking Charley to the beach under a lifeguard tower to relax

I can't believe anyone that dedicated to their job  but this is a tv show but still annoyed how they keep showing them put on their equipment in slow motion rather annoying and make it look like video shoot is ridiculous if your going do serious drama you need treat the serious all the time.

Well it's moving day for the crew but Lilly and  Graciela being trapped on boat with suicide guy was dangerous but it look like Lilly is dealing past flashback from her childhood
Author: bala    Time: 11-10-2013 10:14     Subject: 1x08 Vigilance

Lilly refuses to ask for help for PTSD of what happened to her as child almost put the rescue in tunnel at risk but i am glad Graciela was there tell her she should tell Alfonsio.

ps: it clear that Dolph Lundgren has left the show since it's now half the season has finished so why is he still get credited ?

I had a felling the girls taking the boat to the new place would come across someone who needed rescuing but being held hostage is some payback for trying to help him
Author: codebreaker    Time: 11-11-2013 14:24     Subject: Reply 23#23 bala's post

Of all the places for Lily to get trapped in it had to be a portable loo as the usually stink but she was lucky it had been cleaned, Charley taking an interest in the little girl was nice and Lily going down the shaft considering her childhood trauma was impressive
Author: bala    Time: 11-17-2013 12:28     Subject: 1x09 Training Day

It ain't often we see an episode where nothing happens apart from training it makes it hard to review because there no rescues just character learning how to be better at their job.

Kacie and Charley rowing looked so disorganised and falling overboard was predictable but seeing them with their hair all messed up was amusing

Looks like you was wrong about Dolph Lundgren
Author: bala    Time: 11-22-2013 13:57     Subject: Reply 32#32 codebreaker's post

Yep it odd there was absence but i think they will write him out next season .

They are just using his name to launch the series

Alfonso rescuing the mother and baby from the burning car was a great way for him to get his confidence back and that was some swim from Charley but John asking her to go to South Africa with Kacie was nice but the timing sucked

The pilot making sure everyone got out the helicopter before ditching in the water was impressive but being adrift for over 20 hours was a long time

Yes so glad he got to come back to SAF3 but i still don't know what John role on this show is since he hasn't been in rescue since first episode
