Atlantis Premier's September 28, 2013



A fantasy drama set in a world of legendary heroes and mythical creatures. Far from home and desperate for answers, Jason washes up on the shores of an ancient land. A mysterious place; a world of bull leaping, of snake haired goddesses and of palaces so vast it was said they were built by giants - this is the city of Atlantis. Aided by his two new friends, Pythagoras and Hercules, Jason embarks on a voyage of discovery, and salvation, which sees him brush shoulders with Medusa, come face to face with the Minotaur and even do battle with the dead. Of all the people to go deep sea diving you just know he would find a portal but the fact he was naked was amusing but he was wearing clothes when he was in the sub. Taking Pythagoras for sacrifice was quite noble but he really seem demonstrate some interesting reflexes in this episode. I had feeling bull was under a curse .

The clothes being left on the beach was a little convenient considering Jason was naked but trying to get their attention while covering his privates was amusing and Pythagoras picking the black stone was a surprise as I thought it would be Jason but taking his place afterwards was predictable

I am enjoying the show.  I like the greek overtones, but I thought this would be more atlantian or something. It's just Greek mythology (sort of) in atlantis.   

I would really like to know who Jason is (of the arganauts?)  And who thinks the oracle is his mother?

I'm not surprised Jason looked surprised when he found out the girl was Medusa but before she was cursed was an interesting change

Another good episode but bull jumping is a tricky art but Jason managed ok but finding out queen a witch was a surprise

Hercules first attempt at jumping the bull was amusing and Jason faking his injury to make them work as a team was impressive and what a stroke of luck Medusa got the voodoo doll

The abandoned baby was lucky Jason spotted him before Hercules accidentally killed him but changing his smelly nappy was amusing and Medusa overhearing how Hercules feels about her I thought would make things awkward

The Queen finding out Ariadne's message was from Therus, Ariadne's brother came as a shock as she thought he was dead but I thought getting Ariadne out of the city to see her brother was going to be hard and the Beatles was amusing

The beetle was an amusing storyline but brother thinking drugging her so he could keep her safe was taken a bit too far. Glad Jason  could save her

Well Hercules should of known better than to try using a magic potion for Medusa to fall in love with him, he should of known there would be a cost which Jason now has to pay

You just knew after Hercules paid a visit to Circe in an effort to win Medusa’s heart there would be consequences but turning Hercules into a pig was amusing

Jason risking everything for Ariadne was interesting but the training was amusing and the fact Jason allowed Heptarian to live was the only thing he could do

Yes but at least he got a kiss out of it which better than nothing but Arianda trying to outsmart the queen certainly backfired on her servant she really needs get rid of that queen if she's going to be happy.

I can't understand why Arianada would run into her step mothers arms after she was told to break it off with Jason.  Mind you, nothing ever happened, but whatever.  Also, the queen had her maid in custody.  Oh yeah that's great.   Lets hug!

Well meeting Pythagoras brother was great but than the brother finding out it was  Pythagoras who killed their father was sad . Hercules having to carry that box both way was priceless

The way Baucis handled herself in the fight was surprising and stealing the chest was a bigger surprise but Arcas being pissed that Pythagoras killed their father while saving their mother was unbelievable that he was willing to let his brother die

Yes this was interesting consequence of stealing food but drinking melted sliver must have been horrible .

I am surprised this was first time they went hungry

You just knew Jason wouldn't kill Pasiphae and Ariadne insisting he spends the night with her when the others abandoned him was amusing but getting arrested and sentenced to death should make the next episode interesting, I had a felling if he killed Circe there would be consequence

Hercules sneaking a look while Ariadne changed was amusing and what a revelation to who Jason's parents are but I'm disappointed the king didn't punish Pasiphae for trying to kill him

Who would thought stealing a statue would lead to crumble of Atlantis but that was one hell of a battle plan and i liked the fact they moved the series on a bit with a new queen who still has feelings for Jason but asking him retrieve the statue was predictable but finding out Cyclops was guarding it was a good cliffhanger

Hercules pushing Pythagoras of the cliff to test if the water was deep enough was amusing but finding out Pasiphae is Jason's mother is going to be a hard secret to keep

Pasiphae taking the Oracle was a desperate measure to stop Jason from finding out the truth about her and Hercules protecting Medusa was understandable but charging Jason with her death was a devious way to the marriage

You have to feel sorry for Hercules with his love for Medusa and Jason but with Ariadne life also on the line she had no choice but to return

It's about time Pythagoras figured his friend was betraying him but at least he tried to make good and Jason taking Pasiphae prisoner was karma but having her killed made sense, Ariadne getting married to Jason was great as it's the final episode but trust Pasiphae to return from the dead and spoil things
