Trophy Wife Premieres on ABC on September 24, 2013



They say the third time’s the charm and reformed party girl Kate (Malin Akerman) is hoping that’s true when she becomes Pete’s (Bradley Whitford) third wife. She fell into his arms (literally) at a karaoke bar and a year later, Kate’s got an insta-family complete with three stepchildren and two ex-wives. Diane (Marcia Gay Harden) is ex-wife number one, an intense, over-achieving doctor and the mother of twin teenagers Hillary (Bailee Madison) and Warren (Ryan Scott Lee). Diane is quick to convey her withering disapproval of Kate’s barely tapped maternal instinct. Ex-wife number two, Jackie (Michaela Watkins), is mother to adopted son, Bert (Albert Tsai), and can pull Pete’s strings with her special blend of neurotic, new-ageyness. Juggling all this baggage is uncharted territory for Kate who finds support with her best friend Meg (Natalie Morales) a party-hearty singleton and the only woman Kate knows who has less experience with kids than she has.

Trophy Wife stars Malin Akerman (Suburgatory) as Kate, Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) as Pete, Marcia Gay Harden (Into the Wild, Damages) as Diane, Michaela Watkins (Saturday Night Live) as Jackie, Natalie Morales (Parks and Recreation) as Meg, Ryan Scott Lee (Super 8) as Warren, Albert Tsai (How I Met Your Mother) as Bert and Bailee Madison as Hillary.

Kate breaking Pete's nose was amusing but meeting all his ex's and children at the hospital was priceless, Hillary giving her a hard time was understandable as she is the third wife but the water bottle was her own fault as she gave her the idea

Wow she must be crazy having one ex-wife is tough enough but 2 can be a challenge but Chinese kid was my favourite out of the cast he bound cause most trouble .

It was obvious Diane knew Warren and Hillary had damage her couch but the subtle mental torture amusing but who would of thought Kate putting Bert to bed would be so hard

If Diane asking Pete to snoop in Hillary room wasn't bad enough but going on her Facebook page was well out of order and Kate trying a different tactic by being Hillary's friend was bound to have repercussions, Diane's fake profile may be wrong but stands a chance of getting some good results

Meg being spotted swimming topless by the neighbours kids was amusing and I cant imagine a 14 year old being traumatised by seeing breasts

Pete and Kate not realising Diane was on Skype when they were lying about being busy was amusing and after watching Jackie's online dating video she really did need help to jazz it up

The school boys must of thought it was their lucky day when Kate cut in line and the moms fighting over Bert and his favourite holiday but trust them to loose him

If Jackie crashing Kate and Pete's party wasn't bad enough she hooks up with Pete's co-worker Steve but both of them jump on the bandwagon to give young love a boost when Steve decided to pursue the relationship was understandable as they were hoping her would take her off their hands

Bert getting lice first was unfortunate but everyone start scratching afterwards was amusing, Warren and Bert fight over the teddy bear was crazy but sabotaging the shampoo for Diane was a great way to teach her a lesson for taking over

Kate setting Diane up on a date in the hope it will mellow her out was amusing as she was already dating him and Jackie looking after Pete when he got sick was a bad choice

This how parenting has changed instead reading their diary all parents need to do check their kid's social network to see what's going on.

Yes but i surprised she could see what was written on page through Skype but you would think turn off the microphone would much easier option instead moving laptop outside.

unfortunately it was going backfire on her because she decided to wash daugher hair before hers but them running away at the end was priceless

Kate should of listened to Pete about his birthday curse as it proves to be more powerful than she anticipates with almost flashing in his office and then running in the back of a police car but her coat popping open was priceless

Kate trying to punish the kids didn't go well but after what happend to her phone i am really not surprised she sweared at them for what look like 3-5 minutes would loved to see uncensored version .

I thought Hillary and Warren misbehaviour was amusing especially when Warren jumped off the roof into the pool but Kate turns to Diane for help in disciplining them was surprising and I cant believe Kate swore so much at them for destroying her phone

What a load of fuss over the loss of Bert's first tooth because and Kate trying to help Warren with a girl was only making it worse, Hillary's first sleepover being spoilt by her mother was predictable

Hillary and Diane dressing in the same cloths was bizarre but Kate deciding she wants in on Jackie's latest business venture was interesting as it looked like Jackie only wanted the investment and the fact Kate hated making lunches for their own kids made it worse

Warren and Hillary competing over a new friend was interesting as Warren didn't want to choose if Hillary and the guy broke up, Jackie being the one to start the rumours about Kate with the other soccer moms was predictable but defending her when they started slagging Jackie off was nice but Diane wearing the birthday cake was priceless

You can understand why Kate decided she missed out on a big wedding after watching Pete's previous wedding videos but what a can of worms she's opened when wanting to change her name

Kate's mother, Cricket hiring a couple of male strippers for the family rehearsal dinner was inappropriate and the wedding being on the plane was impressive but shame about the video

You can understand why Pete and Kate fake going to therapy to allow them some alone time and all of the kids being delight that Meg was avoiding her boyfriend by spending time at their house was amusing as they all had separate reasons

Pete and Jackie trying to solve Hillary's dating problems was amusing as the were about to stop her going with the kid until they found out he didn't want to date her

You can understand why Kate was encouraging Warren to make new friends after having his mother sleepover but joining a girls hockey team was amusing, Pete trying to teach Bert about financial responsibility was priceless but it should of been the other way around

Kate agreeing to be Jackie's plus one at her high school reunion was amusing as she forgot to say they were supposed to be a couple and Hillary getting upset because she wasn't the smartest in her group was surprising

I had a feeling Diane and Jackie leaving the kids with Kate on Mother's Day had other plans instead but Pete being thrown to the wolves by his boss was terrible as he thought he had a mild heart attack
