Just installed a flash update, now I can't watch anything. Any help would be appreciated. Author: waterlilybarb Time: 10-19-2012 00:17 Subject: Reply 1#1 bellabrooke's post
Uninstall it and downgrade to the previous version. I have had to do it before. It's a pain in the butt, but I have learned to check the Adobe site's complaints when there are updates to Flash to see if it's worth doing the update or waiting for a better version. I know that v.11 was incompatible if you had RealPlayer installed. Their suggestion was to disallow the recording function on RP, but I had already done that, and it didn't work for me, so I went back to the previous version.Author: bellabrooke Time: 10-19-2012 00:50
Thanks, that seemed to work. What a pain, though. Author: waterlilybarb Time: 10-19-2012 09:54 Subject: Reply 3#3 bellabrooke's post
Oh, believe me, I know what a pain it is. Very glad it worked for you though. You might want to change the settings on your Flash player so it won't automatically update, if you haven't already. I have it set so that it has to ask me before updating.
