Major Crimes Premiered on TNT on August 13, 2012



About the Show:
The detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crimes division are still reeling from the departure of Brenda Leigh Johnson and the realization that Captain Raydor is now in charge. Unlike their previous chief, Raydor is determined to lead the department with a more team-oriented approach, sharing the credit with the people with whom she works. Raydor's hardest job, however, will be gaining the full trust and confidence of her detectives, who aren't quick to forget her long history of internal investigations targeting them and their previous boss. Especially troublesome is Provenza, who has a difficult time taking orders from someone he doesn’t think knows as much as he does.

Episode 1: Reloaded (Aug/13/2012)
The department is still reeling with the recent departure of Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson, creating a tough transition for the newly appointed head of Major Crimes, Captain Sharon Raydor. But there is little time for adjustment as the department rushes to reach a plea bargain when a string of grocery store robberies turns fatal. After proving to be a valuable source for the case, undercover police detective and military veteran Detective Amy Sykes is transferred to Major Crimes. Meanwhile, Raydor takes a big step to protect teenager Rusty Beck after he runs away from his foster family.

Episode 2: Before and After (Aug/20/2012)
Growing pains within Major Crimes become apparent as the division works to obtain justice in a brutal homicide that turns out to be more complicated than expected. Raydor struggles to gain the respect of her colleagues while also trying to supervise Rusty 24/7. The changes within the department may become more than Provenza can accept.

Episode 3: Medical Causes (Aug/27/2012)
The facts become blurry in a case involving a fatal car crash at a nightclub. Meanwhile, Rusty can finally look forward to his mother’s return.

Episode 4: The Ecstasy and the Agony (Sep/03/2012)
A homicide case involving the Israeli mob and a self-proclaimed "intuitive life strategist" leads Major Crimes to partner with the FBI. Provenza opens up to a suspect in a rare display of vulnerability. And Rusty’s first day of school doesn’t go as planned.

Episode 5: Citizens Arrest (Sep/10/2012)
In a case involving a kidnapping-turned-homicide, the squad is pressured to work quickly before anyone else is hurt. DDA Andrea Hobbs becomes a valuable resource in the case. Meanwhile, DNA evidence proves that Rusty is more closely connected to the justice system than anyone might have expected.

Episode 6: Out of Bounds (Sep/17/2012)
When a fatal shooting occurs in gang territory, Capt. Raydor makes a bold move that could jeopardize her career and put Det. Sykes in harm's way. Meanwhile, Rusty makes it clear that he doesn’t care to meet his biological father.

Episode 7: The Shame Game (Sep/24/2012)
In a case where political agendas rise to the forefront, Major Crimes has a tough time keeping important confidential facts from leaking.  Making matters even more difficult for Capt. Raydor, the Department of Children and Family Services makes a shocking discovery concerning Rusty.

Episode 8: Dismissed with Prejudice (Oct/01/2012)
When a murder conviction is overturned after eight years, Tao is forced to question his past actions. And Rusty struggles to be himself during his first outing with his father, Daniel Dunn.

Episode 9: Cheaters Never Prosper (Oct/08/2012)
A man from Las Vegas is found dead after an apparent overdose, but the facts become unclear as gritty details begin to unfold. Meanwhile, a series of strange events leave Rusty and Raydor wondering if Dunn can be trusted.

Episode 10: Long Shot (Oct/15/2012)
When a peaceful ceremony turns deadly, Major Crimes and the FBI team up to track down a dangerous sniper. And Raydor negotiates a deal that even Provenza can get behind.

Episode 1: Final Cut (Jun/10/2013)
The squad scrambles to garner a confession when the pregnant wife of a big-time film director is found murdered. Meanwhile, just as things seem to fall into place under Raydor’s leadership, new Deputy D.A. Emma Rios challenges Raydor’s intentions as Rusty’s guardian.

Episode 2: False Pretenses (Jun/17/2013)
A complex murder-suicide case has the department reeling. Meanwhile, when Rusty receives a mysterious and threatening letter Emma demands that he be relocated. Torn between her desire to protect Rusty and professional duty to the case, Raydor is forced to seriously consider Emma’s request.

Episode 3: Under the Influence (Jun/24/2013)
A meddling television writer-producer accompanies Sanchez and Tao on a ride-along so he can get an inside look at the LAPD. But what starts out as a simple outing quickly gets out of hand. And Rusty employees some unfair help when his teacher makes him re-write an essay.

Episode 4: I, Witness (Jul/01/2013)
The LAPD flies a material witness into Los Angeles to testify, but in a horrible turn of events their witness winds up as the key suspect in an entirely new murder. Personal and professional stress takes a toll on Flynn. And the squad takes bets when Rusty brings a girl from class to hang out with him at the department.

Episode 5: D.O.A. (Jul/08/2013)
The squad investigates a brutal murder, but they soon find that dark secrets are at the root of an apparent drug bust gone wrong. Meanwhile, Raydor’s estranged husband of 25 years, Jack Raydor returns to Los Angeles to work as a court-appointed attorney. Charming and charismatic, Jack becomes fast friends with Rusty but Sharon continues to remain wary.

Episode 6: Boys Will Be Boys (Jul/15/2013)
When a child with gender dysphoria goes missing, the Major Crimes division scrambles to solve the emotional case before it's too late. Torn between several suspects, the squad has to be careful as it tries to connect the evidence to a dangerous bully. Meanwhile, Jack Raydor attempts to make up for years of lousy parenting.

Episode 7: Rules of Engagement ()
In a case that brings gang violence and social profiling to the forefront, the squad realizes that things are not always as they seem. Complicating matters further, Sharon offers Jack (guest star Tom Berenger) the opportunity to be a court-appointed attorney in the case. Meanwhile, Rusty expresses apprehension about meeting Kris' (guest star Madison McLaughlin) parents.

Episode 8: The Deep End (Jul/29/2013)
The media goes into a frenzy over race relations when the body of a young Latino man is found at the home of a white award-winning swimming coach. Flynn struggles with an emotional dilemma on the eve of his daughter's wedding. Kris' mother (guest star Lori Loughlin) pays Raydor a visit to discuss some concerns.

Episode 9: There's No Place Like Home (Aug/05/2013)
Provenza faces possible permanent desk duty while the squad investigates the suspicious death of a loathsome ICE agent which brings them into contact with the residents of an ancient apartment complex nicknamed La Shangri-la. Tim Conway, Paul Dooley, Ron Glass, Doris Roberts, and Marion Ross guest star. Paul McCrane and Kathe Mazur also appear in the episode.

Episode 10: Backfire (Aug/12/2013)
In a case that hits a little too close to home for Rusty, a 19-year-old prostitute is brutally murdered. The squad rushes to reach a deal with the remorseless killer they believe is part of a larger criminal enterprise. Their efforts, however, do not sit well with the judge assigned to the case.

Episode 11: Poster Boy (Aug/19/2013)
The team works strategically to capture a spree killer who has put everyone on high alert. Trying to solve the case quickly, Raydor is torn between two seemingly right decisions, each of which comes with major consequences. Meanwhile, Rusty is given some extra freedom, but more threats leave him afraid to stray far from home.

Episode 12: Pick Your Poison (Nov/25/2013)
After a poisoned drug mixture has taken the lives of two brothers, the unit is in a race against time to find the dealer, before any more people are put at risk.

Rusty, meanwhile, has to make an important decision because he feels overwhelmed by his new round-the-clock surveillance.

Episode 13: Jailbait (Dec/02/2013)
When a newly released prisoner misses two back-to-back parole meetings, the squad is called in to track him down after the suspect’s therapist expresses concerns over his mental state. Meanwhile, Sharon invites therapist, Dr. Joe Bowman, to the office to evaluate Rusty over a game of chess.

Episode 14: All In (Dec/09/2013)
When a body turns up at a posh country club in a quiet neighborhood, the squad’s investigation leads them down a money trail full of surprises. Flynn is noticeably distracted on the job, and Emma’s actions have Rusty questioning her intentions, causing him to distrust her even more.

Episode 15: Curve Ball (Dec/16/2013)
Christmas vacation is interrupted for the Major Crimes Division when a baseball scout is found dead in his RV. The squad works through the murder case, unfolding a complicated kidnapping scheme. Meanwhile, Rusty opens up to Dr. Joe about his mom.

Episode 16: Risk Assessment (Dec/23/2013)
When a well-off graduate student gets shot to death in a gang-riddled neighborhood, the Major Crimes Division must work with the FBI, including Fritz Howard to find his killer. Throughout the investigation, it is revealed how each member of the unit became interested in joining the police force.

Episode 17: Year-End Blowout (Dec/30/2013)
A year-end blowout sale becomes literal for a used-car lot after one of its owners is killed when a bomb explodes. While the squad tries to find who is responsible, Rusty dons a bullet-proof vest under the watchful eye of Lt. Chuck Cooper, a Special Investigation Section (SIS) supervisor, in an attempt to catch the person responsible for threatening his and Sharon’s life.

Episode 18: Return to Sender Part 1 (Jan/06/2014)
The squad must work quickly to track down a serial killer before he strikes again. Meanwhile, things get dangerous over a game of chess

Episode 19: Return to Sender Part 2 (Jan/13/2014)
The Major Crimes unit draws closer to finding a dangerous serial killer. Rusty faces his biggest challenge yet when he bravely takes the stand against Phillip Stroh. Complicating the case further, the team goes head to head with Linda Rothman a tough, powerful attorney who doesn't let morals stand in her way of winning a case.

Some family secrets are revealed after a father and his two children go missing. Some trust issues are revealed after Rusty takes a couple of suspicious trips on his own.

Episode 2: Personal Day (Jun/16/2014)
Shortly after being released from prison, a man who proclaimed his innocence is found murdered. The victim's case is reopened and the squad works hard to solve a seventeen-year old murder. To the surprise of Raydor, Rusty confesses the reason behind his recent suspicious activity.

Episode 3: Frozen Assets (Jun/23/2014)
The Major Crimes division faces a new challenge as they work to solve the murder of a dog that was left a 20 million dollar estate by his deceased owner. With the help of wannabe detective Jonathan Baird, aka Dick Tracy, (guest star Andrew Daly), the case takes a new turn as the squad begins to suspect foul play in the death of the dog's owner, a wealthy heiress.

Episode 4: Letting It Go (Jun/30/2014)
The team question possible suspects after an alleged rapist is found dead. Rusty catches his mother lying.

Episode 5: Do Not Disturb (Jul/07/2014)
A murder committed in a hotel room is investigated and results in some potential international repercussions. Rusty things about how to share a huge secret with the rest of the squad.

Episode 6: Jane Doe #38 (Jul/14/2014)
After a young runaway is murdered, this leads the unit on a long, perplexing journey to discover the identity of her killer.

Episode 7: Two Options (Jul/21/2014)
SWAT officers find an an elderly couple shot in their home.

Episode 8: Cutting Loose (Jul/28/2014)
The star of a police series becomes the number one suspect after a fan is murdered. With Mike Tao working as a consultant on the show it further complicates the case.

Episode 9: Sweet Revenge (Aug/04/2014)
The team are all working overtime as they investigate the murder of a tech entrepreneur. When Raydon's son comes to visit, Rusty struggles. Fritz prepares to take charge.

Episode 10: Zoo Story (Aug/11/2014)
Some women start to vanish from a popular nightclub which results in a territorial war between Major Crimes and the Special Operations Bureau.

Episode 11: Down the Drain (Nov/24/2014)
People are left searching for answers when a surrogate adoption gets complicated and someone is left dead. The unit has to explore LA's underground water system. Sharon wants to make Rusty part of her family, but struggles to tell his birth mother about the adoption plans.

Episode 12: Party Foul (Dec/01/2014)
A raucous teen party ends with two people been brutally attacked with a pair of scissors. The Major Crime unit soon find that they have their hands full picking out who committed the crime. Provenza meets someone who could change his life.

Episode 13: Acting Out (Dec/08/2014)
A former child star is found dead on skid row, halting a Hollywood comeback. The director of the movie and the acts manager are the prime suspects as the investigation gets underway. Flynn's daughter visits and highlights the true nature of the relationship between father and daughter.

Episode 14: Trial By Fire (Dec/15/2014)
A gang banger is acquitted of murder and is then released from custody, leads to a murder case with a miscarriage of justice. Jack returns, representing the suspect in the murder. Whilst Rusty takes a chance on the guy he has a crush on.

Episode 15: Chain Reaction (Dec/22/2014)
A Santa flash mob complicates apprehending a criminal Santa bank robber, leading the team to try and work out how the operation went so wrong. Sharon is visited for the holidays by her children, as Buzz begins his training.

Episode 16: Leap of Faith (Dec/29/2014)
Flynn tries to talk a man down who is standing on the ledge of a bridge. But he soon discovers that the man is in fact a sex offender who has a dead body in his car. Rusty prepares a impact statement to try and end his involvement in the Stroh case.

Episode 17: Internal Affairs (Jan/05/2015)
The caregiver of Sanchez's mother is found murdered. Rusty takes on Jack when he turns up at Sharon's condo acting recklessly.

Episode 18: Special Master Part One (Jan/12/2015)
Phillip Stroh returns and is demanding a new deal from DDA Rios in exchange for his cooperation regarding "future murders." In a race against the clock to prevent the deaths of three women, Major Crimes works to save the victims while decoding the source of Stroh's information.

Episode 19: Special Master Part Two (Jan/12/2015)
The Major Crimes division is in overdrive working to stop a serial killer who has been targeting female sex workers. To interpret the facts, Captain Sharon Raydor reaches outside her division to a consultant, Clarissa Fields, to help reverse engineer a decade of horrible murders as Stroh moves closer and closer to achieving his ultimate deal.
