Revolution (2012) Premiered on NBC on September 17, 2012



Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why?

Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down, the lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it?

On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future.

From director Jon Favreau (" Iron Man," " Iron Man 2") and the fertile imaginations of J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke (" Supernatural"), comes a surprising " what if" action-adventure series, where an unlikely hero will lead the world out of the dark. Literally.

Danny pulling the crossbow to save Ben was disastrous with so many getting shot and Ben dying but the poisoned whisky was clever, Miles sword fighting was impressive

The poisoned whiskey was a great tactical manuever. Pulling the cross bow was dumb, but understandable.  I really enjoyed the sword fight too!    I expect nothing less of a US marine!  Ohhh Rahh!    The algebra teacher wasn't what she seemed!!    And the guy who Saved Charlie Twice and betrayed her.  Conflicted much!

I actually felt this wasn't good episode because the trailer ruined the first episode but i have feeling this will get cancelled because i don't think this can keep viewers. It was a damn shame he died but you just knew that it lead to a journey. The poisoned whisky was a smart move but if she hook up with the brother i would be annoyed.

The problem i have with this show none of characters are actually likable

More good fighting scenes.  It's refreshing that Charlie reminds everyone it's about the people not just surviving.  What I'm confused about it is the lack of livestock.  I would think everyone would ride horses and have oxen.

Well finding out who was responsible for creating the bad guys was interesting but we could understand the reason why it there were created the problem was no one was control them. Finding power in that house was amazing but it seem only last a couple of minutes which could create a problem.

I think they created the republic for a good reason but some where along the way it got twisted.  I mean they've been at it for 15 yrs or so right??

So glad the british chick was able to see her kids.  And that was the fastest boot up of an iphone I"VE ever seen.

I really felt this was a turning episode.  We got to know Maggie? from almost a beginning middle and then an end.  I connected to the characters and even Miles had a moment.  Not sure what to believe with the Black Monroe Guy.  He was saved and he's still a jack a@@.  So there's that.

Well given that she was going to die i am not surprised but why bother introduce her into show if she going to be killed off quite early ?. I think Miles really had no choice after she died because now whether he like it or not he's responsible for them .

It was a great episode of solidarity but her demise so early was dumb.  Connected to her for just the one episode.

i would have never expected nate to be that character.  He seems to be trying to think for himself.  I bet he'll turn on his father as some point.   PUtting the explosive in the log was a great idea.  Detaching the train would have been easier.    

So close....if they catch him what will the story be about then!!

I thought Charlie talking Miles out of killing that guy was a bad idea at first but the way he took them all out was impressive and the way she got the sniper rifle was great but killing two to save thirty was a small price to pay

The look of shock on Charlie's face when she found out Miles was responsible for training the Rebel camp was interesting but she still rescued him again which was great

Danny escaping in the storm was great it's just a shame Tom caught him so fast but saving him turned out to be a big mistake and finding out about Maggie's life before she died was sad and interesting, Charlie was lucky with the booby trap

I have such HIgh hopes for this show.  But really they just put themselves in really ackward situations and then have to get themsleves out of it.  I really thought when Charlie found out the irish were cops, should could confide in them and create as Ally.     BUT NO  that isn't what happen.  They did NOTHING to further themselves.

Finding out the Google guy was lame, was pointless.  Kinda already knew that.

I really enjoyed this episode too.   The DOD guy having grace was good info.   He's a slimy one.     Monroe is all about self....... He is a serious a-jerk

This was a good episode.  They actually went and did something.  I was not expecting the sisters participation.  How disappointing.  The black guy and his wife are creepy scarey.  Does she know he's crazy!!  Well he qualifies for leadership then! HA

I figured out sisters participation quite early because he was tricky bad guy so i expected it was a trick . He knew that they would rescue her leading to get the pendant that was the prize

Nora saying I think I got it when Charlie stood on a mine was amusing and that was some explosion but the hallucinations were interesting, the way Rachel made sure she was still needed was quick thinking

Well it was a good episode but i don't think it will pick up since now they have go into hiding and she has to be able build a device that either give them power or take away power from Monroe consider they don't have luxury Manroe resources it going some time to be able to defeat Monroe. I like the fact Charlie reaction to seeing her mum was amusing she was like WTF don't come near me . So glad they didn't just cheesy reunion with them

Really enjoyed this last episode ahead of the ridiculously long hiatus. Just reading about why it's such a long one and it seems NBC only ordered this for partial release so I'm guessing they are making more episodes after it was expanded to full season!!

I just hope a 4 month hiatus won't lose the show it's steady and growing fan base!

Are you being bloody serious . So let recap after 10 episode she rescues her brother and it's a happy situation and now he's dead . I am just so annoyed i can understand broke the episode if they aired this after previous episode it would made the first half of the season pointless i realise they used reunite all players with common goal but at least he died a hero.

None of these genius thought maybe we should wear bullet proof vest or some sort protection against bullets . I am sure scrap metal they used as bullet proof vest.

LAME!!!!  I couldn't have thought this show would so throughly disappoint. It's about apocalypse for heavens sake.   This should have been easy.  No sooner do we feel good and have a solid family unit than they DISTROY it by killing the character we spent the WHOLE first half of season looking for.     THAT WAS THE DUMBEST DECISION I'VE EVER WITNESSED IN TV.

Okay!! That was pretty good.  Now if we could have more episodes like that it would be good.   I don't like Randells methods but his boss was okay.  I wonder if it was the same guy as when the lights go out??  Hahaha. Its not like they could have an election.  

I'm going to miss Nora, but if game of thrones has taught me anything its that everyone is expendable and not to get too attached.
