Blackout Premieres on BBC One on July 02, 2012



Blackout is a drama series starring Christopher Eccleston as Daniel Demoys a man who feels a stranger in his own life. Over the years he has gone from being an idealistic young man with desire to a disillusioned and corrupt council official. His life is now a complete mess and he is drinking heavily and suffering with blackouts. He has also been passing council contract details to local businessman Henry Pulis.

If it wasn't bad enough Daniel missing his daughters ballet he then drives drunk whilst still drinking plus he beat Pulis and put him in a coma but dies later, I assume Daniel ran to save Lucy from the gunman but taking the bullet for someone else is the only decent thing he's done

Daniel had to explain to his wife, Alex about his involvement in the council corruption after finding the dead guys wallet and Ruth was starting to piece together the truth about her father until the evidence was stolen and who run over the cop

Daniel is not much of a roll model with his daughter was getting drunk in the cemetery as he used to be always drunk himself and sending his family out of town to keep them safe was a good thing, confessing about killing Henry was the descent thing to do
