Episode 1: A Clean Escape (Aug/04/2007)
In John Kessel's short story about a post-apocalyptic near future, a psychiatrist (Davis) is trying to help a patient (Waterston) recover from a memory lapse.
Episode 2: The Awakening (Aug/11/2007)
Major Albert Skynner is brought out of retirement when an alien creature arrives on Earth. The creature communicates through humans who appear to be in a hypnotic spell. The messages it gives is one of peace, using quotes from all of the major religions of the world. When these creatures start appearing by the dozens, all of the major powers in the world are told to disarm, but the US President is reluctant to do so. Is this a genuine message of peace or is it just trickery and a prelude to invasion?
Episode 3: Jerry Was a Man (Aug/18/2007)
A wealthy couple come into possession of an anthropoid named Jerry. Based on a story by Robert Heinlein.
Episode 4: The Discarded (Aug/25/2007)
Based on a short story by seven-time Hugo Award winner, three-time Nebula Award winner and Science Fiction Grand Master Laureate Harlan Ellison (" A Boy and His Dog," " Star Trek"). Story of despised minorities forever adrift in the darkness of outer space. As a last resort born out of their loneliness and despair they are forced to make an ominous pact with those responsible for their plight, in the hope that they will finally be offered refuge at home on Earth.
Episode 5: Little Brother (Dec/02/2007)
In the future, courtrooms exist without human judges or juries, and automated justice is the law of the land.
Episode 6: Watchbird (Dec/09/2007)
Set in a world where droids prevent killings before they happen. Based on a story by Robert Sheckley.
