The series is scheduled to premiere on March 1, 2012

Police detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) regains consciousness following a car accident involving his wife Hannah (Laura Allen) and his son Rex (Dylan Minnette). Michael moves back and forth between two realities: in one, Rex survived while Hannah is dead; in the other, Hannah survived but Rex did not. Trying to keep both his loved ones alive, Michael starts living a "double life," moving back and forth between the two realities, dealing with different personal conflicts and police partners. He also starts noticing strange links between the two realities

I managed catch this on youtube from NBC channel before restrict it. This was good pilot and it really kept my interest since you need pay attention and it's good thing i was in mood pay attention otherwise this episode would get rather confusing.

I can get potential storyline a mile away like the reality where son is alive and wife is deed look like there going love interest in that reality but in other he still with his wife but son died. So is that cheating?

The ending telling them i will not give up either reality was strong finish.

At the moment he is getting the best of both but with his son grieving for his mother and her grieving for her son which makes it interesting, but i can imagine at some point there will be a third reality were they both died. Solving both cases was an added bonus

Michael solving the case of the doctor because of his subconscious was interesting and finding their son's hobby to rebuild the motorbike was nice

The escaped convict abducting Michael's son in  the one world was confusing and then being forced to negotiate with same man in his other reality while missing the memorial service to his son that his wife Hannah doesn't want him to avoid was sad

Ok just watched the first episode of season one, and Bala is right. One needs to pay attention. I got lost in trying to understand the constitution bit, where the female psychiatrist made him read it from the middle and said something about how would he remember that if she (or that particular reality) was a dream. That totally flew over my head.All in all I enjoyed it. And will probably have to watch it again.

The problem we don't which reality is real that the mystery   . I don't think we will find out they keep us guessing until the shows ends

It may be both are not real....that the whole thing is imagined and he is in a coma somewhere. The mind can be a complicated unexplored universe

That is probably a more realistic possibility as the show is about him and would be nice for a family point of view if they are all alive

Well i had feeling that tennis racket had something to do with his mother. I found cases boring in this episode i really focus but i just didn't care about them.

Well getting framed for being serial killer one thing but saving her was good but he made himself a target

I thought they had forgot about his his son's sudden anger outbursts when his friend breaks his tennis racquet but explaining it at the end was worth the wait and is it just me but his sons reality seems to be filmed dull and his wife's filmed brighter

I'm not surprised the FBI profiler Elizabeth believes that Michael knows more than he's telling considering he is using two realities to solve the case but how can he explain that without them thinking he is nuts and then saving her life was great

The penguin was bizarre and Dr. Lee being there as well was different but after that dream about being injected after being hit on the head was interesting

Michael checking out the last case that he handled from the advice of a drivethru loudspeaker was interesting but going back a second time was amusing and I'm glad he found out the truth why the young girl who had sex with her lab partner and then apparently killed herself

It was obvious that there would be trouble when Michael was preparing the couple for a new life in the witness protection and trying to introduction his new partner to his old informant was interesting, Hannah was lucky she wasn't also caught naked

In the wife's time line Rex's getting his girlfriend pregnant could be a blessing but in his time line her loosing it was tragic but could also be a blessing and the wife and brother being responsible for the two deaths was sad

I'm glad that Hannah and Michael talk to Rex's girlfriend but I was disappointed at how her parents were handling the situation and with him not leaving is going to cause trouble

Starting to remember what happened in the car crash was interesting especially realising they were run off the road by another cop

I just finally got to finish watching this series today.  I hate that it's cancelled and we're left with no real explanation.  

I think the LEAST networks could do is to let the writers know that a show is going to be cancelled so they have an opportunity to tie up the main storyline.  It's happened so many times that I hate to get into new shows at all.  And, especially with a show like this one, that is kind of confusing to begin with, it would have been nice to know what the writers had in mind.  I'm left confused, as the hallucinations started to bleed into both timelines (or all 3?).    It's too easy, and really poor writing if it was all a dream.

As soon as you seen the photos of Bird and Michael together you knew Bird would pay the price in one reality and knee capping Hawkins before killing him in the other reality was great but it's a shame they took the evidence to her

About time he realised Tricia was the other corrupt cop but the penguin suit was amusing and the third reality was so predictable' I still think he's in a coma but we will never know
