Boss Premiered on Starz on October 21, 2011
Mayor Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer) sits like a spider at the center of Chicago’s web of power; a web built on a covenant with the people. They want to be led, they want disputes settled, jobs dispensed, and loyalties rewarded. If he achieves through deception and troubling morality, so be it. As long as he gets the job done, they look the other way.
Yet despite being the most effective mayor in recent history, a degenerative brain disorder is ripping everything away from him. He can’t trust his memory, his closest allies, or even himself.
Kane’s wife Meredith (Connie Nielsen) knows nothing. Theirs is a marriage of convenience. Kitty O’Neil (Kathleen Robertson), Kane’s advisor, has her suspicions but stays silent. And Kane’s political advisor Ezra Stone (Martin Donovan), a Yale graduate with a rough edge, remains questionless.
Only Emma (Hannah Ware), Kane’s estranged daughter, has a chance of learning his secret. This is going to be the toughest term yet for the Boss.

Meredith coming to Thomas's rescue at the press conference was quick thinking and what a way to turn around the race attack from 20 years ago but i can't believe Kitty allowed Ben to use her like that considering he had just left his wife and children, his wife saying you was quicker than i thought was amusing Author: codebreaker Time: 11-9-2011 11:03 Subject: 1x03 Swallow

Have you caught the first couple episodes bala? BOSS is turning out to be a great series - I've been hooked since the pilot. Grammer's performance is stellar.
Can't wait to see the new episode tonight at 10/9 ET/PT on Starz. Should be a great episode.

It look like the relationship has improved now that she knows he's sick and it could lead to a good reconication but we both know what he does later which is so crazy i still in shock. Despite the fact this long show there really are some great moments. Author: bala Time: 9-2-2012 11:32

This really was the best episode of the season so far because just when you think it's all over. He proves why he is the mayor, he really outplayed Kitty but i can't believe Kitty feel for it because she seems like a very smart person with all angles covered but what he did with those photo really ruined him but his wife was the one that really surprised me when she says i don't care who you screw but i worked so hard to get in this position and tells up put his tail between his legs and beg for a second chance was crazy. I loved how it ended him on the floor like a dog .

Well what a question at the end did you do this to me ? - we know it was meant for him but seeing Kitty back was interesting still don't know if she kept the baby or had an abortion but i can't wait to find out. Thomas giving his best to her daughter after firing her was a mistake because she now knows about the camera but how they didn't spot them holes next to their lights was bizarre, Kitty giving Tom the heads up about being wired should make things interesting and I was surprised he almost let Meredith die by not giving her oxygen
