Set in the mythical age, "Camelot" is the timeless and powerful tale of legendary King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, the wizard, Merlin, and the sorceress, Morgan. The primary source is Thomas Mallory's 15th century work, "Le Morte d'Arthur", along with other Arthurian legends

I should of expected this from Starz but what an interesting and alternate view on what we all know as Merlin

Well yeah that one thing i love about Starz , bbc would never allow a naked women to appear on screen but i have to say this show reminds me of legend of the seeker rather than Merlin for some reason but i have to say i liking how he showed Arthur what he is against i meaning killing his mother in front of him showed him his power but it was nice of him to give 5 days to grieve before starting a war.

I can't bieve we have wait until April for the next episode.

2 hr season premier comes on Starz tonight.    I would like to watch this, but if it's not on VIP and I don't get Starz  I'm not sure how I'm going to see it.  Any idea this can be added to VIP?  Maybe preliminaries??  Just for a short time...??  please.

I like how Arthur got the sword from the top of the waterfall but that was some fall and what his foster father did to his wife's killer was great
Author: bala    Time: 4-2-2011 10:52     Subject: Reply 8#8 codebreaker's post

And to think anyone who figured out you had push into the sword to get out was a great trick. i am surprised no one tried it ?
Author: codebreaker    Time: 4-2-2011 11:07     Subject: Reply 9#9 bala's post

I wonder how many died trying to get the sword
Author: bala    Time: 4-2-2011 11:09     Subject: Reply 10#10 codebreaker's post

From what i remember from episode quite a few i thought sword was put on a rock in normal ground not on top of the waterfall
Author: bala    Time: 4-9-2011 04:03     Subject: Guinevere

I can't believe Arthur ask Guinevere to come to beach but i did find amusing when actress cover her boobs with her hand so the camera couldn't see it .

Arthur and Merlin accept an invitation to join Morgan at her castle for dinner but the bondage situation between Morgan and Merlin was also amusing and than her saying so your just leaving after he escape the bondage.

I think she going to make Arthur life more difficult and his mother notice that was nice.

Arthur letting Guinevere stay to keep them safe was one thing but not so keen for the wedding i thought was amusing and at leased Arthur got it the once for now but i assume Guinevere used the blood to make it look like she lost her virginity to her husband
Author: bala    Time: 4-16-2011 03:19     Subject: Lady of the Lake

Well interesting back story about the lady in the lake and Excalibur but look like Morgan got more than she bargained for with that spell she cast in pervious episode and Merlin accidently killing sword maker all because he wanted give sword to Arthur seems like a fair request.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 4-17-2011 09:06     Subject: Reply 14#14 bala's post

I don't understand why Merlin was against the sword maker wanting to give the sword to Arthur and what also what happened to his daughter in the lake was tragic, she would of been better to of gone down with the sword for what Merlin did to her father
Author: bala    Time: 4-17-2011 09:09     Subject: Reply 15#15 codebreaker's post

Yeah i don't get that but Excalibur is strange name for a daughter but it will interesting to she become lady of the lake.

Wasn't that also the the name of the sword from the top of the waterfall that Arthur pushed in to pull out

Which makes it odd since the sword broke ?
Author: bala    Time: 4-30-2011 05:58     Subject: Justice

Well that was great that arthur was fair but finding what real reason was rather horrify   but trust morganna to get allies by lying to them about Arthur

That guy should of left the village as soon as he found out their customs but the nun getting herself beat up to help Morgan was surprising
Author: bala    Time: 5-4-2011 09:05     Subject: Reply 20#20 codebreaker's post

Yes he should but that would stop those men from finding him ?
Author: bala    Time: 5-6-2011 22:39     Subject: Three Journeys

Well another good episode and she becoming more favourable but i loved her rulings with boy when offered buy him with sheep i knew it was a test but having sentence her right hand nun was interesting.  Arthur still has no idea how popular his sister is becoming.

Anyone figured out what the 3rd journey was, The first was gwen father, the second was the book but what was the 3rd?.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 5-12-2011 14:55     Subject: Reply 22#22 bala's post

That had me worried when she offered to buy the boy but the way his father was willing to let him go for a few animals was diabolical and it's a good job Arthur went after Guinevere but he should be more careful being the king

That one thing i love about these type of show they made you worried what people were like back than

Well i knew she would replace her but using the dinner as way to kidnap her was interesting.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 5-14-2011 05:57     Subject: Reply 25#25 bala's post

Guinevere was lucky having two men abstain from the entertainment and Arthur's rescue was impressive but the solider peeping on Morgan was amusing
Author: bala    Time: 5-14-2011 06:12     Subject: Reply 26#26 codebreaker's post

But who side is he on the nun or morgan?
Author: bala    Time: 5-21-2011 09:06     Subject: Episode 8

Wow she really went to town destroy Camelot i knew she would tell Gwen husband about Arthur and her but i didn't see merlin and her hooking up and he couldn't see past her disguise but her escape was a nice surprised and what a ending.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 5-26-2011 10:35     Subject: Reply 28#28 bala's post

That was sad about the boy and the guard got what he deserved in the dungeons but I'm surprised Merlin didn't spot the impostor considering how close he got but at leased she was polite enough to say good morning to herself
Author: bala    Time: 5-26-2011 10:43     Subject: Reply 29#29 codebreaker's post

Yes she good enough to be polite to herself.
Author: bala    Time: 6-3-2011 23:00     Subject: The battle at bardon pass

Well what a plan making her look crazy but the attack was great distraction and with merlin and her captured it will be interesting to see Arthur will do next since he's by himself.
Author: codebreaker    Time: 6-4-2011 11:07     Subject: Reply 31#31 bala's post

What was Guinevere thinking by ridding into a battle field but Morgan's plan to make Igraine and Merlin look crazy was cleaver and how will Arthur be able to restore the confidence it himself from his men, so the season finale should be interesting
Author: bala    Time: 6-11-2011 02:26     Subject: Reckoning

Wow i was impressed at all traps Arthur created by himself   and now Arthur know what he needs to do to be a good kind but Morgan that was sick sleeping with your own half brother so that she could carry the king baby

Who would of thought Arthur could do so much damage single handed but finding out the guy he torchered was fighting for Morgan must of been a surprise and Leontes sacrificing himself to save Arthur was tragic, so over all not a bad first season
Author: bala    Time: 6-11-2011 12:04     Subject: Reply 36#36 codebreaker's post

i really hope this get renewed

Starz Declines Option To Renew 'Camelot'

EXCLUSIVE: Starz said today that due to significant production challenges, the network has decided not to exercise the option for subsequent seasons of its freshman original series Camelot. We've heard that scheduling conflicts with some of the actors were part of the problem for the Ireland-shot costume drama, which stars Joseph Feinnes, Jamie Campbell Bower and Eva Green and takes off on the King Arthur legend. GK-tv, Octagon Films and Take 5 Prods produced. Camelot wrapped its first season earlier this month by drawing 1.5 million total viewers, the second-highest viewership for the series behind its two-hour premiere, which set a network record for a series bow. It had been on a ratings upswing for its final few episodes.
